Was checking out kaleidoscope Park and decided that we wanted to grab food nearby. Was craving something new so decided to check this place out. The ambiance was very modern and new. Service was just okay considering we were the only ones there. Would have expected a little bit more attentiveness as we didn't originally have silverware and water refills were a bit lacking. Food itself was good! + Creative take on a grilled cheese with naan for kids + The goat soup is something I've never had before but excellent if you like the texture of Asian pig feet. Not for the faint of heart but collagen goodness! + Lamb shank was very flavorful. Could've been a little more tender but still very yummy = Butter lamb was just ok. A little tough. Definitely looking forward to checking out the rest of the menu!

What a cool place to enjoy lunch or dinner, right next to The Star in Frisco! I really enjoyed Roti Grill. It's got many of the usually Indian-cuisine favorites, but also adds some lesser-seen items that really make this restaurant stand out from the rest. At the top of that list is their Lamb Chops! Served in a Masala Sauce and with Vegetables and Yellow Rice, this is easily my new favorite masala dish! The lamb is so tender, and the masala sauce adds just the right amount of spicy and savory. Not far behind, is the Shrimp Malabar. Tender shrimp simmered in a sauce of coconut milk, tomato and cream, this is a must for any shrimp lover. I started my meal with some Chicken Momo, which are nicely crisp dumplings that are still moist and filled with ground chicken and aromatic spices that have you reaching for another. Served with sides of chili sauce and sweet sauce for dipping, these are a great starter. I also tried their Mixed Tandoori Grill, which features Lamb Kabob, Shrimp, Chicken and Paneer on a bed of onions. Each one tender and flavorful. Of course, I also had some Naan - both Plain and Garlic, that I used to soak up all the delicious sauces. In addition to an ample dining room, Roti also has a full bar, and lots of outdoor seating to enjoy this fall weather. I'm looking forward to getting back on Saturday or Sunday morning to try their Breakfast Menu!

Stopped by here for a quick lunch and I was pleasantly surprised! Despite the lunch rush, my party of 3 were seated rather quickly. Our server was friendly and answered any questions we had. I ordered the lunch bento which included two entrees and naan. I like how you can customize how spicy you want your entrees. Their mango lassi is a must-- very refreshing! Will probably be regulars here :)

Photo on website of star district showing roti grill and the actual restaurant is 1/3rd the size as in picture and lower class very bad

Extremely low drink options for non drinkers Chicken 65 was terrible Coconut tomato soup was bad Picture on star district website of this roti grill is deceptive as it's no way high end luxury - it looked beyond ordinary and not anything like picture . We did not eat dinner Couldn't finish one starter we ordered today ! Waiters keep coming asking you to drink and eat One line of conversation couldn't be completed by me and a friend and the restaurant wasn't crowded for them to be this pushy

Stopped by for a mango lassi and a naan after having a disappointing dinner somewhere else. The service was prompt and friendly. The mango lassi was delicious! I devoured the naan as soon as I made it back to my hotel. Made me wish I would've had dinner here instead.

Absolutely delicious and so fresh. Ordered chicken masala, naan, raita, rice. All great. Got it to go and they packed it nicely. But what was the best was the staff. Deepee was amazing and so kind. He gave me a mango smoothie on the house.

Love this place. Food is good, the place is not too busy on a sat night. The chef comes out on many occasions making sure everything is on point. One of the good ones in frisco for sure.

We had an after dinner activity planned and due to our long wait to be seated, it made us late for our next activity. They also boast all the ingredients being locally sourced, which is also a fun concept. Note that parking can be limited, and you may need to park along the roads alongside. Our waitress was kind and welcoming for Mother's Day. We tried the chicken & spaetzel for my mom and the 1843 filet for myself. My steak was cooked well, I just wish it had been a bit more flavorful. My mom really liked her dish and I did as well. The chicken in particular was lovely. It did take us over 45 min to receive our food, but I attribute that to the busy holiday. The choco pie was huge and worth the amount I paid for it. The crust was prone to falling apart though so be prepared to make a mess! Speaking on my memories from 2 years ago, I'd gotten chicken piccata which had a sauce similar to the spaetzel. It was much better this time around, and didn't have red pepper, which I strongly dislike. The concept was very similar. At the time, my partner had gotten a meat pie of some kind that he still raves about. This was winter 2024, so not the same menu. Overall, it's a cute place and a cute concept. Note that A) this is not the place for someone picky, as the dishes are a bit experimental, and B) the prices are a bit above average. More of a special occasion type of place. Make sure you make a reservation!

The soup dumplings ended up having a sweet taste in the soup. The hot and sour soup was not sour at all, and I ended up, doctoring it a bit by asking for some vinegar. I would highly recommend against people ordering this if they're expecting the authentic Asian flavor profile. The beef noodle soup ordered medium spicy was not spicy at all and so next time if I ever go back, I'll have to get their extra spicy. And their tofu noodle soup did not have nearly as much tofu as the picture seemed to make us believe. The one thing I did really like was the wontons in the wonton soup so if I come back, I'll probably just be ordering that. Overall, I think I was expecting a classic Taiwanese flavor profile and was left wanting more.

I've had the pleasure of eating ramen in Japan and yeah, NO. The reason for the 1 star is because we were the first ones in at 11 and the waitress came in sneezing and wiping her nose with her hand, with her child in tow who by the way was all over the place and many times just standing at our table staring at us eat. I kept watching her to see if she would wash her hands or at least use hand sanitizer but she neglected to do either. The ramen: We ordered the spicy garlic pork shoyu and the spicy chicken broth ramen. The garlic pork ramen had 1 small piece of pork belly and the noodles while a great consistency, tasted like cardboard. The broth suffered from the lack of flavor. The chicken ramen was also pretty flavorless. The nerve of someone to compare this place to Ichiran lol. I will say, the service from the chef and the nose wiping waitress was pleasant but the grossness of her wiping her nose and touching every chair, bowl, utensils and eating her chips at the table across from us with her toddler is enough for us to never go back to this place even if it was the last ramen spot on the planet.
