The fitness classes are unique and the fighters are top notch. I trained and fought at Jack's since the early days and have seen the ups and downs. I am very impressed with everything that is going on and would recommend this to anybody interested in boxing, kickboxing, Jiu-Jitsu or just the best fitness classes around.

The jiu jitsu school in the gym told him to stay away from there members its gotten so bad. He was a really cool guy at first. If your not a hot chic or a fighter he doesn't want to be bothered by you. He talked me into upgrading to the open gym because I was there waiting for the kids classes to end and he sat in his office. Came out and helped me maybe 3 times in almost a year. If it wasnt for some of the guys who came in early I wouldnt of learned anything new or got any ring time. Stopped going 4 months ago, stopped payments 2 months ago. Never heard from him til the money stopped commin in. Its really a shame because he is a good instructor but me personally, I cant deal with the drama & mood swings. Funny the new place im going has a handful of old members that all say the same things.

I have been going to Victory Kickboxing since September 2014 (for about 9 months). I have always been in shape and stayed active, so working out and fitness classes were not new to me. I went to Victory to support my sister, who wanted to start working out. So, I bought the trial 3 classes for $20 and was "sure" I wouldn't sign up, as I already belong to the Rocky Run YMCA. After the first class, I knew it was a great workout. The hour flew by and I was sweating like I had just got out of a pool! The next day I felt sore like I hadn't felt in a long time, yet, I also had so much energy. It felt good to be challenged in a work out. After the second class, I kept telling myself, I wouldn't sign up, there was no reason to, as I could take classes at the YMCA. However, upon completion of the class, I couldn't deny that something was just different about Victory. I wasn't sure if it was the ability to throw on the gloves and hit the bag like Rocky or the sense of community in the classes. But, either way, I didn't want my trial classes to end. Despite what I was originally "sure" I wouldn't do, I signed up for the 40 block of classes. I really didn't HAVE to, as I still belong to the YMCA, yet, I signed up because I WANT to keep doing the classes and feeling challenged. I honestly couldn't wait to get back to class after the Christmas holiday. How many people can say that about their workout? After 3 months, I bumped up from one day a week to twice a week--mostly because it's such a good work out but also because I truly look forward to the class. There isn't a muscle group that isn't worked in that hour. It's like the benefits of a personal trainer with the security of a group class. So even if I wanted to slack off, or skimp on my workout, Mr. Quillen and my peers, wouldn't let me. Everyone works at their own level and yet, we all push each other to be the best we can be. My sister, who introduced me to the class has lost over 75 pounds since she started! Which is a true testimony to the type of workouts Victory offers. At the end of the class we all stand in a circle and say "we rock" which is very fitting because the truth is, Victory Kickboxing Rocks!
