Quality, efficiency, and good vibes. That's the three keys to success at Goiko Grill in Madrid. Those, along with the finest hamburger and attention to detail are what make this small burger joint a hip, friendly place to enjoy excellent cuisine.
My friend and I came to Goiko Grill for dinner, not sure what to expect. Upon entering, we found the rustic restaurant design charming, with exposed brick and wood-toned paneling. The atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable, and the service was impeccable. The staff was friendly and outgoing, and very attentive.
We started with an order of Nachos de Daniela, tortilla chips piled high with guacamole, chopped tomatoes, jalapeños, sour cream, chili con carne, and melted cheese. We also shared an order of Crispy chicken wings, fried to perfection and excellent when dipped in house-made BBQ sauce.
Goiko Grill is hamburger heaven, as you can choose the number of patties you'd like on any of their signature sandwiches. We opted for the Kevin Bacon Burger, done as an Infinitas version with seven beef patties. The bacon is mixed right into the ground beef, adding more flavor to the burger as it cooks. Topped with fresh raw onion and American cheese, this Burger was worth the big bite it took to eat it. We both reveled in the magnificent blend of juicy meat, salty bacon, and gooey, melted cheese.
There's nothing better after a satisfying burger than an indulgent dessert, which is exactly what we got. I chose the Chunky Doughy, with two scoops of vanilla ice cream mixed with moist chocolatey brownie chunks and the Goiko secret ingredient: black cookie dough.
My friend loved her freshly baked Goiko cookie, with big chocolate chips and a scoop of creamy vanilla ice cream, drizzled with chocolate sauce. A perfect ending to an already incredible meal. read more
