The bread is spongy and soft and addictively tasty! You take a piece of bread and spoon some vegetables into it and then plop all of that into your mouth. It's fun to eat with your hands. It's just so natural. If you like vegetables and bread, I highly recommend this meal! The restaurant was nice, it has a traditional decoration theme and it is spacious. My sister ordered the Arancini as her entrée and polished off every bite. I kept things light with the Caesar salad topped with grilled chicken but substituted an oil-and-vinegar dressing instead of the traditional Caesar. The chicken was perfectly grilled, the salad was fresh, and the portion was generous. My husband ordered the pasta, and the kitchen was happy to substitute a spicy tomato sauce for the rosé sauce, which we really appreciated. My brother-in-law thoroughly enjoyed the Piri Piri Chicken. We also discovered a fantastic Canadian Riesling from Tawse Winery in the Niagara region. The only disappointment was the limited by-the-glass wine selection, so we ended up ordering a bottle instead. Not a huge issue, but it would be nice to have a few more options by the glass. A couple of tips for first-time visitors: parking is paid street parking, and the restaurant can be a little tricky to find.
