I waited for this store to open for a while, but forgot to write a review! The opening ceremony was grand but the food venue that were offered weren't great. They were expensive and soggy. The shows were a great entertainment which many families enjoyed. Parking was hectic but during business days, the parking lot is vacant. Once you walk in you'll see the colorful bakery! I love their buns, baos, and pastries. They are one of the few bakeries that still stand by the Buy five get one free promotion. I have to admit, I love their products! My favorite is the black forest cream bun, the hot dog bun, pineapple custard bun (it has a pineapple jelly filling in the middle, not the original pineapple bun that has a glaze on top), the scallion dried pork bun, and the chocolate heart bun. There were a few more that I bought but it slipped my mind on which ones they were. Many yelpers were mentioning how clean this establishment is but I want to focus on their customer service! Their cashiers were very nice and diverse! The elderly lady was more than welcoming and she had a great sense of humor! I spoke to her in our native tongue. The man at the customer service desk was very personal! I love to have a great conversation involving my culture. They taught and recommend which herbs are best for my situations. The products aren't as overpriced as the 1st spring market and other chinese stores. Its worth the drive out! Give this place a try. They also have some American products but they are more expensive than publix. Don't forget to try out a bun/bao on the way in! There are free samples. Went here because I heard they have inexpensive fruits. As soon as I walked in I felt as if I was in a different country. .Which was nice. It felt like it could be in Asia. The market had a slight smell, but really made the shopping experience more authentic to the Asian experience. The worker were very polite, even though a few spoke little English. The fruits were a steal when it came to price as well. The floors could be cleaned a little more. My favorite section was the snack aisle. It had so many unique snacks for Asia. It made me want to experiment and try it all. They also have a bakery within the store which is very unique. Overall this is a great experience for those that want to go to a great Asia supermarket and those that want to experience something that is close to the real thing. read more

Nice Asian spot that openly welcomes other cultures! Fresh fruit, seafood, and meats. Everything was clean, I didn't feel ackward stares, and there were other non Asians shopping and working there. I've driven past this market more times than I can count and finally ventured inside. I was not disappointed! There's a great selection of fresh and frozen foods; a lot of brands I am familiar with and some I can't wait to try. The bakery is where it's at though. I suggest getting there early to get the best pick of items, and Buy 5 get one free is a great deal! Their taro goodies are absolutely delicious, in addition to the dried pork bun. In my opinion, probably the best Asian market on the East side/closer to UCF. Everything is neatly organized and clean, and not obnoxious-smelling like some other Asian markets. There's a mini takeout for dim sum and bbq meats. The dim sum was meh and the meats were eh too. They were ok, not the best you can get. There's also a legit Chinese bakery inside with assorted pastries and you can place orders for cakes as well. Everything is baked fresh daily. I shop at this store and feel like I'm taking a mini trip to a foreign country. I love the variety of Asian products here. I also feel comfortable shopping here. I've shopped at various ethnic grocery stores across town and often feel like an outsider and awkward if I don't speak the language. This is not the case. This store is very clean and doesn't smell bad. I feel like this makes this store stand out among other stores. The restrooms are clean too. When we come here I toss random things into the cart to try. I get this excited rush to try something new. My boyfriend usually picks up different ingredients for his parents to cook with. The produce is inexpensive and fresh. Definitely cheaper than Publix normal prices. And the baked goods. The highlight of this store. Everything is made in store and inexpensive. I buy a baked good every time I visit. There is even a seating area where you can enjoy the food. There is also an area where hot food can be purchased. Amazing supermarket with all kinds of imports from Japan, China, Korea, Vietnam, probably more. Very friendly and helpful staff. I was overwhelmed by the variety, and the staff helped me find what I was looking for and made recommendations for particular brands and items. Went to explore with my very Japanese interested 10 year-old and my bfriend who has spent some time there. He was happy to find teas and sauces he had while away and she doh s some candies and snacks she's seen online and wanted to try. The fish and meat and fresh veggie selection was pretty big and there were endless options for noodles, dim sum, and chips. There's also a restaurant and bakery inside separate from the store to order freshly made food and treats. Prices are very reasonable. The red bean bun was SO good! They're not part of the store so if you pickup anything from the bakery you are asked to pay cash for it separate from the rest of your order at check out. I'm happy that Ifresh opened near my house. It makes grocery shopping a lot easier. Usually I will come here to buy a handful of things such as Asian spices/sauces, ramen, and vegetables/tofu. A lot of the vegetables and the tofu are significantly cheaper than if you were to buy it at Publix. The reason for the 3 stars is because of the meat (both service and quality). There was a bell to ring for service for the meat, however no one was coming out. The guy running the seafood stall didn't seem to care. We asked him and he said he doesn't do that. A few minutes later the seafood guy came when we asked again and slammed on the bell VERY forcefully 5 or 6 times. Finally, a grumpy meat man came out several moments later. We got some pork belly and beef short ribs. I had to throw away all of the short ribs (we were making LA Galbi) because the texture and taste wasn't right after it was cooked. It was a recipe I had used countless times in the past. The pork belly was okay - it came with a lot of fat and some skin I had to remove. If you're thinking about buying the meat here because it's cheaper - don't. I ended going to Woosung the next week instead to purchase short ribs. read more

We were there in the morning, and they were still selling left over hotdog buns from yesterday. WHAT!?!?!I am sure they taste just as good as the previous, but left over meat buns, big NO No! I've experienced racist and rudeness to the max. I came here to buy some crabs after hearing from my friend that they have fresh crabs everything Thrus. I came here was was surprised that this lady was able to convinced the seafood man to bring a new casket of new crabs in their tongue language. He PURPOSELY leave the casket in the corner for the lady to pick and no one else. After some comments, I walked back and picked from the casket. After a couple minutes another lady came by and said "No, no" to me and cover the casket with a rug so I cannot pick from it anymore. She pointed me to the crabs already on the display, which were all dead and who knows how many days old. Mind you, I am paying, just like any other customer and this is how she treated me. I came here recently is search of a particular Asian ingredient for dinner. I was pleasantly surprised by how the store looked inside. It was very clean and orderly. I'm not sure if the floors were put in recently but it really makes the store inviting. iFresh aka your super clean and well-stocked Asian grocery store (with folks who mainly speak Chinese) when compared to other ones in the area. When I've visited in the past to cook soups and salads, I would purchase the following: - Taiwanese, Udon, and rice noodles - Miso paste, dried scallops - Enoki, shiitake, and oyster mushrooms - Green onions, ginger, and spinach - Dragon and star fruits - Sweet potatoes, onions, and potatoes They don't have an organic section, and the seafood and meat seem a bit questionable, but iFresh is most def a reliable place to get Asian groceries. This is the third grocery store opened in this same spot. By far, the cleanest one I've been to in a while. It reminds me of the Korean grocery stores in LA and Texas. I really enjoy this supermarket! They have a broad selection of imported goods from Asia but also some Latin and assorted goods from across the US as well! The prices are fair and since the selection is so broad, it's fun just to walk around. My favorite section is the candy & snack aisles! So much interesting stuff to check out. A couple of my faves are the "Fettucine" mummies in flavors like peach or taro. They have a lot of honeydew flavored candy which if you've never tried before - definitely do! So good. Tons of flavors of Ramune, Tapico, etc if you're into sweet beverages. Lots of mochi as well, yum! The one thing I will say is if you're looking for produce - definitely be careful and make sure to feel everything because I have noticed a lot of their produce looks like it's on it's last leg. Personally, this would make me a little wary to buy seafood here since the freshness of other things is questionable. Last but not least, CHECK OUT THE BAKERY! Oh my gosh, they have the best selection and literally everything I've tried has been amazing. Cream puffs, oreo pastries, coffee flavored pastries stuffed with cream.... To die for! Used to love this market. It's cleaner and better originated than 1st oriental. But here's an advice I'd like to give based on my last two visit - READ YOUR RECEIPT! Or better, Don't pay anything before you read the price of everything you bought on their computer. I got overcharged for 24+ for six packs of rice soup which cost 6.99, and a pack of frozen stuff for 5+ which should be on sale at 3.99. They claim it's a 'price error' - if you really believe it. It's even worse the last time, the cashier even told me that the manager left already( at 6pm. Really?) so they can't fix it. And ask me "that's the price on the computer. You want it or not?" Hate to give it 2 stars. But I take this action as a sign of lack of management, and hope they do something for a change. read more

I've been to my fair share of Asian supermarkets and iFresh for sure is one of the cleaner ones. It's organized, clean enough, and have a good selection of groceries for everyday use. The vegetables are always fresh while produce is a hit or miss. I've bought seafood here several times and haven't had any issues so the seafood is good as well. My only complaint is with the meat. I'm not a meat expert but anyone can look at the meat (short ribs, beef, chicken) etc and tell that its old. I've been here several times and it's always been the same, meat is very old the majority of the time. Be cautious when it comes to that. There's also a cute little bakery in here that sells fresh baked goods, the pastries are okay. It's a hit or miss sometimes. Additionally if you're hungry they also have a little food stand where you can order traditional marinated meats with rice and veggies. iFresh is a good supermarket. read more

All fresh and the attendants there are on point. If you are always looking for blue crabs like I am, fear no more because they have them here! I've only gone on the weekends but they usually have multiple crates of blue crabs ready for $4.99 a lb. This is typically higher than most places but they are good sizes and typically female crabs. They've also got a fresh bakery for my favorite pigs in a blanket. There's also a hot food section for traditional Chinese BBQ and dim sum to go. Their BBQ selection is tasty!
