It's an ok pizza. Location looking a bit tired. There's another pizza chain that has an awesome taco pizza, but it's not close. So, every now and then, I need one. There are only two reasons to eat at a Godfather's: Indifference and abject poverty... and even the latter seems like flimsy reasoning these days. I wouldn't have known one existed here if its wares hadn't appeared at an acquaintance's house during a "party" (an awkward get-together of co-workers where everyone's surprisingly entertained, but nobody would consider the other a friend). Boy, did I forget just how low the bar could be for chains. Why would you do this to yourself unless you either couldn't taste the pizza or didn't care all that much? I remember when there used to be one of these in the Penn Station concourse under Madison Square Garden, and my father would take us there when he didn't want to waste good pizza on toddlers heading to the circus. It tastes like food with that purpose: Cardboard, near-Elio's crust, ketchup-thick sauce, somehow grainy cheese. There was a dessert option with visible perforations that I just couldn't stomach. I found out where it was located and it just made sense. It's just off Cornelius Pass on Main in an absolute desert of options. But even in its location, there's an Albertson's with better frozen pizza than the fully cooked varieties offered here. I know your kids want something. I know you're a lonely code drone who doesn't care what his food looks like. But please have some sort of respect for you and the people around you and pass on Godfather's. I don't really like pizza much. Godfathers is the only one I go to. And that's because I love their thin crust pizza. I always get thin crust, Xtra sauce, Xtra cheese, 1/2 Xtra pepperoni and 1/2 Xtra anchovies. I do the extra toppings because the thin crust pizza is prone to getting bubbles. I ordered food here a while ago and after that I have never came back. If I could, I would rate this location with 0 stars. To start off the staff was very rude and he gave me such bad attitude. The pizza was quite greasy, and they got my wings wrong. I asked for buffalo sauced wings and they gave me bbq. I went back to complain and they even rolled their eyes at me. There appeared to only be 2 or 3 people working but it was dead and literally every table except like 3 had dirty tables every where. It is like this everytime I have come here. We attended a party here for my boys' basketball team. Seems to be a popular place on weekends. The thing that bothered me the most was the lack of attention to cleanliness. I needed to discard the top two plates in the stack of "clean plates" for the buffet line before I got to a clean one. When I came back for a second trip through, I picked through the top FIVE plates before I finally asked someone behind the counter if they had some clean plates. I really hate doing this as I have frequented (at least once a month) this Godfather's since moving to the area 2 years ago. Though I am sure I will continue to eat their pizza, I have seen something today that will swear me off of the salad bar there forever more. Today I saw a young boy about the age of 10 run up to the salad bar (mother in tow) and stick his fingers straight into the salad dressing. Of course mom ran off with her son without telling anyone. Luckily, someone else in their group was getting a salad and let the young guy behind the counter know of what had just transpired. She told him, "his fingers didn't go in that much, you could probably just scrape off the top layer and it'd be fine." Of course I was hoping that this guy would have the common sense to throw out salad dressing (which can't be their most expensive thing they order) and fill a new container. But as I turn back to look, the container is back in the salad bar looking like the top layer was either scraped or poured out. No Bueno! My DDIL ordered me and my 2 grandchildren pizza from GF (delivery-so I thought) while she and my son went to dinner and a movie. She said it would be 20 minutes or so . . . fast forward an hour and no pizza, I decided to call. Well, apparently the order was placed as *carry out*, so the staff said. I objected to a pizza sitting for an hour already and then another :30 minutes for delivery (of which there would be a $3.50 charge). She said they would re-make the pizza. I said I'd pay cash for the delivery charge. Everyone's Happy, right?! Well, the pizza came and after the driver fumbled longer than necessary getting my change I took the pizza in for my very hungry grandchildren. As I counted my change, putting it in my wallet, the driver had charged me $7 delivery fee. EfingBstrd! Worst pizza experience EVER! AND IT WAS THE SAME PIZZA! IT WAS COLD AND HARD! We had a long day at a funeral. Called to order and the "manager" said they don't deliver to us. For 15 years they've been delivering to us. She flat out refused, she couldn't afford to send a driver our way. I contacted Corporate and they contact the store. The General Manager, Debbie, called me and left no message. So I called her a week later. She said she "called me a couple of times, but isn't good at leaving messages, and then threw the post it note away. And then forgot about me." She was defensive, blamed corporate, was loud, cut me off 4 times during the conversation. Never asked what happened, never offered an alternative, never said she felt bad that we were blind sighted, and never apologized. Every time I come here to pick up a delivery (doordash) they are extremely confused and even more extremely late. I'm sorry but waiting 45 minutes for 2 piece order, small pizza and wings, should not be so frustrating. I was comforted in knowing the frustration I felt was not felt alone but with at least by another 3 people there having various other problems from wrong pizzas to long wait times and who knows what else. I felt sorry for the girl up front being the face to upset customers although I will say that I did not hear her apologize to most of the angry customers. Management really needs to get a handle of this as it's only turning customers away. As the person delivering to the end customer it's rather embarrassing delivering a very late order. Not only that but when we accept a $5 delivery thinking it's going to be quick and effecient and it works out to $5/hr in the end, it certainly doesn't make me want to come back for a delivery, much less to eat! read more

I would not recommend this place. My husband and I use to go here quite often but after todays experience we will not be visiting this place of business anymore. My mother ordered a 1/2 vegetarian taco pizza it came back 1/2 chicken and 1/2 beef. When I called to get it fixed Grace hung up on me. I called back to see if it was just the phone got disconnected. No, she had hung up on me and argued with saying the order was not placed the way I stated. No effort whatsoever was made to make this right. I have lived in Forest Grove for 8yrs. This is the third time I have gone here. First time,watched them make my pizza. Gentleman who was making it walked over to his lunch took a bite of his sandwich walked back over to my pizza to finish making it. Then walked across room to grab cheese from a container walked back and tossed it in my pizza. One yr later. Family came into town. Do to allergic reaction to tomatoes I informed staff to make sure our pizza comes in no contact of sauce. I watched staff start to apply to pizza stop wipe it off and apply white sauce. Then drop sauce on counter paper towel it and sit pizza on it. Today March 5 2016 most 3 yrs later. Decided to try again. The place was loud. No one washed hands. They had two Andrews (my husband) pizza order with no last name. No idea what pizza my husband ordered just was picking it up for him. The employee said two pizza and wheat. I told her our last name she informed me they don't take last names. I called my husband to see what he ordered. As I am talking to him she looks at me and say I can give you the phone number. He ordered two pizzas and hot wings. I think they really should have adult supervision in back and up front and not let minors run the place. Stood at the front counter to order for 5 minutes while the blonde waitress just walked around not acknowledging that we were waiting to order. It comes across as very unfriendly, but the pizza was pretty good. I'm starting to feel bad that most of my reviews rip on places, but I guess I just need to get it off my chest. What is strange about Godfathers is how I used to feel about it. My family went to Godfathers quite frequently when I was a teenager and I LOVED it. As a growing person the buffet was perfect for filling me up and quite delicious. When we moved here to Forest Grove 6 years ago I was quite excited to have a Godfathers literally next door. So, I packed up my daughter, a toddler at the time, and we walked on over. Boy was I disappointed. I like quite a few pizza places, Pizza schmizza, Papa Murphys, Papa Johns, PIzza Hut and Little Caesars. I think that shows I'm fairly open to different tasting pizzas. It was a few years ago and I can't remember specifics as to what I didn't like, but my memory tells me it was fairly bland. I did get the buffet and tried a variety of pizzas. Who knows, maybe it was just that day. I'm willing to give it a try again someday, but my wrath will be all the greater if I'm disappointed again. ****Edit: I bit the bullet and tried Godfathers again a couple of weeks ago. I've decided that it is not quite as bad as I previously thought, but it is defnitely overpriced for the quality. Luckily I had an entertainment Book coupon to defray some of that cost. I placed an order online for one of their deals..."Build your own feast" for $37.99. When I didn't receive a confirmation email, I called the restaurant to make sure that my order had been received. I was told that it hadn't, but they would take my order over the phone. I advised that I was wanting their "Build your own feast" deal and placed the order. I was informed that the amount due was $39.99. When I asked why there was a $2 difference, I was told that was the pricing for "their" location. I advised that I had selected "their" location for the online order and the amount didn't change. Ordered online, took almost 10 min. Got an online confirmation of credit card payment. Arrived to pick up pizza and they said it did not go through so they did not make it. Like others said, the service is bad. I walked to the counter and a staffer walked by me, no eye contact, no greeting. He hung out in back ignoring me.
