I asked of they confirm or verify before they cancel and she blamed me that I didn't answer the text - that I did not receive - because she wrote down the wrong number. They also had my spouses number and never texted or verified with them either. Afterwards, I very respectfully asked for painter recommendations in a local group and the owner began blaming me for bad mouthing his company online, that they are great and that I came to his neighborhood to speak badly - never once did he message or apologize for any issue, he was extremely accusatory and completely unprofessional. The paint job they did also was superb. Our home is 28 years old, but they made the interior look brand new after completion. They provide great service to customers, believe that, but if you want to work at McKown, be cautious of a heightened political business environment, and a lot of gossip and backstabbing from my honest observations. I come from a family of General Contractors and business owners, and this seemed very shady to me. I was blindsided. It feels hypocritical and two-faced, but business is business. I shook hands and walked away without disgruntlement, but if you hold me accountable for that reason, then please don't make me the only man with the finger pointed in his face when there are greater offenses being committed. That is all I'm saying really. Great company, just somewhat dysfunctional, and way too political and fickle. The cleaning was scheduled for a Tuesday at 8am and her and her counterpart, Vanessa, arrived at 7:45am to inspect the home before getting started. Claudia walked me through everything she planned on cleaning, which I appreciated, and I stayed out the way to let them work. For a 1900 sq. ft. home, the cleaning took about 3 hours. They deep cleaned the kitchen and bathrooms, dusted, vacuumed and arranged necessary items to make the home look nice and tidy. The one-time cleaning service was $250, which included a deep clean of the oven as well. Claudia was super sweet and very personable, you can tell she takes pride in her work. She only accepts Venmo or Zelle, so keep that in mind. Her work spoke for itself and they did an amazing job! If you're looking for a reasonably priced cleaning service, definitely contact Claudia!!!
