Nick was our estimator and he went over all of the different colors of gutters and downspout installation options and I decided to replace my white and cream colored ones with bronze ones, and it turned out to be a great decision because they ended up looking great! They answered all of my questions and were all very kind and thorough with everything. Quickly after the quote was made, we got the work done and they were very quick and efficient, didn't bother my neighbors, did a lot of work out of their truck, cleaned up after themselves, and hauled away the old gutters and downspouts. So I tried calling a couple of other companies and all they did was make this way worse! Enter south side gutters! Daniel came out and was a super cool dude. I really like them! We talked about gutter size, colors and the best way to fix this problem. Got my estimate, great price! No complaints so I said sure, come on by and replace my gutters! Less than a week later, Colin and another guy came out to pop up these gutters. It took them less than a day. These gutters look fantastic! No gutter guard needed because they're 6-inch gutters. That's right, 6-in gutters! Better price then you'll find for 5-in. And I'm telling you, it's totally worth it. Take it from experience, do not fall for these companies that tell you they'll just give you a bigger downspout with 5-in gutters. That does not work! You really do need these 6-inch gutters. When it came time for the install, Colin himself--the owner--came out with his assistant to complete the job. They were efficient, professional, and clearly took pride in their work. I went with 6-inch gutters and added gutter guards just to be extra, and the setup has been fantastic. The improvement was immediate. Water flows cleanly through the system, there's no overflow or dripping where it shouldn't be, and everything looks great on the house. You can tell the difference in quality compared to standard gutter systems.
