GoPuff is the worst. I have never had a good experience with them. One time my driver gave me someone else's order so I was on the phone with support for about 30 minutes trying to get my food. They sent another driver to bring me my order and he started to spam call my phone after dropping my stuff off. He was screaming at me and he started texting me aggressively. I had to block his number and once again be on a 30 minute call with support. I hope that guy was fired because I was scared I was going to have to call the cops. I decided to order again after this incident, and it has already been an hour since I ordered and my driver has been sitting in the same spot super far away from me for over 20 minutes. I placed my first (and now last) order on 8/6. They were out of one of the items that I requested and subsequently canceled my order. I thought, no big deal, I'll just place another order without that one item which I did and everything was smooth sailing from there. Yesterday I took a look at my bank account account and saw that my original order was charged and posted to my account as well as my second order. I checked my email and realized that I had no communication from them whatsoever so I decided to call their support team. The woman on the other end of the phone was relatively short with me but told me, "refunds are issued and take 3-5 business days from when the order is canceled to process". That's literally it. I figured, no big deal I'm sure I'll get some kind of confirmation in my email. No such confirmation arrived. I called back today and a more helpful woman answered the phone and explained to me that it is apparently my responsibility to call and ask for my money to be returned when an order is canceled. What??? How is that okay at all? First off, I did. Yesterday and it still wasn't put in the system until today? This is insane that I have to beg for my money back when I didn't receive the service provided. That should be automatic and is borderline theft. What if I didn't catch it in my account? I've never encountered such a bad business practice. I still have yet to receive anything other than a verbal confirmation of a refund so my next step is to call my bank and report a fraudulent charge. Long story short, stay away from this app until they can update their business practices. Favor works just fine and when there are issues, you don't have to beg for your money. read more

Ordered 2 pints of ice cream and Hichew candy. They delivered the ice cream. Called to let them know the Hichew candy wasn't included... they basically brushed it off and told me I wasn't charged for it... which is cool... would've liked for the delivery person to tell me when delivering versus me discovering this on my own. I love gopuff! I use them probably three times or more a week. I work late and they deliver, the only thing they really could improve on is 1)add the ability to chat with them through the app in case you forget an item you need and also the ability to add something that's not on their list of things that they have available, and they should also deliver cigarettes. Great concept for a good price but I tried this twice and will not use again. Orders were 30 mins - 1 hr late, delivery person was rude and condescending, and although you are agreeing to terms when completing your order and agree to show your ID, it says nothing about having to have your ID scanned on the delivery persons phone which I don't feel comfortable with. I hate posting bad reviews but this was ridiculous. I waited close to an hour and a half for my order tried to check on the status of my order multiple times with no reply! The only reason I choose to use it is because they had the 10 for 5 deal but it wasn't even honored my card was charged that 5 dollars but was not given a 10 dollar credit!! On top of that what I said I wanted and what I got two different things! I've never been so frustrated with ordering online. LIFESAVER!!!!! Had a house party this weekend and the good thing was that there was more people than expected. We had plenty of alcohol but ran out of mixers. GoPuff saved the night by delivering mixers so quickly, people didn't even realize we had ran out. DO NOT BUY THE $5 for $10 COUPON! They don't offer it anymore and you'll have to email Yelp and get refunded and blah blah blah just don't do it. Everybody is always so nice at goPuff, though!They are the only ones who deliver late night, which is great if you're a college student. A lot of places are losing a profitable market in college students because they close "early" (2am is early if you're up studying). They're a little pricey (i.e. $1.19 for a cup of ramen noodles vs like $.20 at the store.) Plus delivery, plus tax. If they had a liiiiitle more variety , maybe more hot food then it would be perfect. read more
