Kilee at the bar was great! I appreciated her genuine kindness. Plus she makes a fabulous skinny Margarita! And the chicken on my salad was cooked perfectly. read more

They recently catered my daughters wedding and were fantastic. Not only was the food delicious, the service was exceptional. I got lots of quotes for the reception and they were far more reasonable then other catering companies that was on the preferred vendor list. I would use them again if the need ever arrives. read more

We had Pappas Catering for our wedding, and they were absolutely wonderful! They were more than willing to work with our wedding coordinator with everything she needed. We were complimented on our food by a bunch of people (and you know how bad wedding food can sometimes be!). I didn't interact with the staff much, but whenever I did, they were beyond courteous and fun to have at the event. They even passed champagne for toasts and took care of cutting and passing the cake, which to me is above and beyond good service. I am so glad we hired Pappas Catering for our wedding reception. I cannot stress enough how much of a pleasure it was to work with them! They just made our event so much better. P.S. Get the avocado bar - it's fantastic! read more

I wish I could give Pappa's Catering more stars. They are phenomenal! We have used them for 4 years now for our annual 4th of July party with 100+ guests. We get the fajitas, the shrimp brochettes, all the fixins' and a dessert tray. The food is yummy, yummy, yummy. We always get compliments to which we pass on. They stand out in the Texas heat and cook and serve with smiles on their faces. I highly recommend using Pappas Catering! read more

The food was excellent, the servers, Maddy and Maria, were amazing and professional, the chef, Matt, was hard-working and charming and cooked delicious food. He also could back the trailer into our driveway which is a feat unto its self! They cleaned everything up so nicely, nothing was overlooked by them. What a wonderful experience and all of the party goers loved the food and commented on the professionalism of the crew. Thanks to you all for helping us throw an awesome engagement party where I didn't have to work! read more

First of all, I am finding a hard time deciding to rave about the delicious food or the fantastic service Pappasitos provided. Everyone loved the food, commenting that it was the best they've had at a wedding. Guests also really loved the Avocado bar. The only bad thing was that there were so many wonderful people that helped throughout the night, I couldn't keep track of all of their names. From the bartender to the Avocado bar staff, to the cooking staff, to the serving staff...Pappasitos made my event worry-free. They helped with guest traffic, accommodating guests with special needs, and kept me informed along the way. They did more than a job well-done, they exceeded my expectations, and I am so happy that I chose Pappasitos. Thank you all very much! read more

We have been using Pappas Catering for an annual firm-wide event for 4 years now and have not once been disappointed!! Each delivery person has been very friendly, professional and has done a great job setting up a beautiful and efficient spread. We have had Pappasitos fajitas and sides for 20 people and we have not had any errors on our orders. Specifically, we have worked with Eric Albright as the overseeing supervisor and he has done a superb job of communicating, responding to emails and submitting invoices and receipts in a timely manner. So, you not only get delicious, warm food but excellent customer service to go along with it!! read more

We just had Pappas Catering at our wedding and were blown away. Juliet and her team did a fantastic job setting up, cooking, serving, bartending, bussing, and tearing down. We received so many compliments about the food and service from our friends. They are extremely professional and will do what ever you ask of them. We had their bartenders serve the alcohol we provided and they did a fantastic job on the signature cocktails I requested. My wedding facility's owner is very particular about who she will allow on site and she completely trusts Pappas. I highly recommend getting the crawfish and spinach tamales. Many of our guests are waiting for the holidays to order these from Pappasitos because they loved them so much. read more

We had Pappa's cater our wedding last Friday and we got raving reviews from all of our guests. Many of them said that our wedding food was the best wedding food the have every had! I agree because I am a huge guacamole fan and I must say, their guacamole was so tasty and had big chunks of real avocado in it! In addition to food, we had Pappa's host a full, open bar. What a deal it is! Regina was super helpful with the whole process and patiently answered all my questions. I definitely recommend Pappa's for any catering event. read more

Pappas catered my sister-in-law's wedding, and it was so memorable that my husband chose them for our wedding a decade later! We had our wedding on October 12, 2019 in Georgetown. Pappas was easy to work with every step of the way. Justine managed our account and went out of her way to respond to all our questions, concerns, and ideas, even while pregnant and then shortly after giving birth! We were so impressed with how organized and communicative she was. The wedding itself went smoothly, without a hitch, and people are still commenting on how good the food was a week later. We were excited to take home the leftovers. And, as an added bonus, Justine actually came to the wedding to personally make sure everything went well, after working another long shift at an ACL event earlier that day. The catering and bartending team was excellent. And to top the whole thing off, we received a lovely handwritten thank-you note from them! I cannot express enough how pleased we were with this team. I will be working with Pappas at every future opportunity! read more

They did my husband and I's wedding last Friday and did a wonderful job. All the food was great and kept very warm. They also bartended for us and the extra service of monitoring and cleaning up throughout the wedding. Thanks so much! read more

We had Pappasito's cater our st. Patrick's day wedding. I'm Mexican so we want the food to incorporate my culture. The chicken/beef fajita tacos were so good. They had a grill on the premises so all the meat was freshly cooked. They had our plates ready and the staff was so good about checking on us and making sure we had everything. I was so worried I wouldn't have time to just enjoy everything but they were so prepared i felt so at ease. I definitely recommend them! read more

I am so in love with Pappasito's catering!! I have always loved the restaurant, even as a kid growing up in Houston. When I got engaged this year, I knew immediately that I wanted Pappasito's to cater my wedding. And they did an even more amazing job than I ever could have expected. It was so simple for me to print the menus from online & decide what I wanted, then I called the office & made the order way in advance. Juliet is the manager of the department and handled my order, my questions, all my changes & planning. She...is...AWESOME!!! She answered all my questions clearly & easily, was so easy to work with. Then we got to the walk-through two weeks before my wedding at the venue with my coordinator there, & she really saved the day. She was able to quickly walk through our venue & work easily with my coordinator to find all sorts of good places to set up an appetizer table, the bar, & the dinner buffet, like it was just second hand to her. Best part was, she realized that I had ordered ceremony chairs separately & she offered to have her staff set up their rental chairs downstairs for the ceremony, then move them up to the reception room while my guests had drinks, & SHE called my rental company to cancel my chair order so I could get refunded! And she kept offering set-up services for her cocktail staff to do for us, like set up our flowers, etc. but my coordinator was able to do a lot of that set up for me. Point being, Juliet was eager to help out & proactive in informing me of what her staff would be able to do for us. Come to the wedding day, and the Pappasito's staff was amazing. They set up the grill outside, on site, then brought the food in to the buffet table. Everything looked amazing! The staff came around & served our guests drinks and cake since we had to set those up in a separate room downstairs while we ate upstairs. They took care to give my husband & I a couple plates of food first at the start of the reception, and more importantly, brought me a margarita! I saw them dutifully cleaning everything up towards the end of the evening & breaking everything down. They were all so sweet, they really made it a wonderful event! Oh, & the quality of food is always amazing!! That's why it's always been my favorite restaurant. We chose to have beef & chicken fajitas with all the fixings and cheese enchiladas. And must have chips, queso, and salsa--that's a given. The coolest thing was the avocado bar where guests could get half an avocado filled with the salsa of their choice which includes shrimp ceviche or corn & black bean salsa or habenero cream sauce. Mmmmmmm! And the margaritas were excellent as always. I happily lived off left over chips & salsa for a week, best chips & salsa ANYWHERE, EVER! So I could not have been happier & I already I knew I made the best choice for catering. Juliet is amazing & her staff is amazing. You can't go wrong. read more

Pappas Catering just catered my wedding on January 7th and they did a wonderful job. We had a buffet line for 170 people with beef and chicken fajitas. They were a hit and everyone seemed to enjoy them. The staff was attentive, helpful, and friendly. I only have one piece of constructive criticism and that was when they came onsite to grill the meat (which is wonderful), they were chopping the meat very loudly. This was an issue because we were all seated and my husband's grandfather was saying the blessing. This was distracting and made my new husband pretty upset. We only wished they could have chopped the meat before they came to the reception or moved further away from the reception tent so we were not disturbed. Other than that, they were absolutely fantastic! Thank you! read more

Pappas Catering did our wedding at the end of May at Prospect House. They did a fantastic job! They are pros and everything ran smoothly and perfectly. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Our fajitas were delicious!! All the guests loved the food. They were even able to accommodate for gluten free and vegetarian plates. The price was extremely reasonable, way less than other places I quoted. Highly recommended! read more

We had pappas cater our wedding at the end of September at memory lane event center and they did amazing. They helped us pick a menu within our budget that still gave us everything we wanted and were very responsive when we had questions or needed clarification. The ordering process was super easy and they checked in about a week before the event to go over details and timelines which was great! Lauren was so great to work with and gave me confidence that they would show up on time and deliver everything they had promised. The wedding food and drinks went off without a hitch and of course the food was great. I am so pleased with how everything went with them and would 100% recommend using them for any event. Thanks again Pappas! read more

After we booked our wedding venue, our next step was catering. I had my mind pretty set that we were going to be doing a fajita bar and I've always been obsessed with Pappasito's fajitas. We met with Pappa's Catering, Maudie's and Trudy's. I have nothing super negative to say about any of them but what put Pappa's above the rest was their experience, food quality, and organization. After meeting with Juliet and going over pricing - everything seemed to fall into place. Juliet was so nice and helpful. She had an answer for everything and gave us a tasting which was wonderful. Juliet sent us a quote and contract for us to look over. Personally, this is where Pappa's overcame the rest. The quote was so detailed and easy to understand. It also stated what the caterers and cocktail bussers exact responsibilities are. Coming from a restaurant background, this was so appreciated and something the other companies did not do. A week and half before the wedding date, Lauren called to confirm our guest number and to see if I needed any help with anything else. I had a few questions which she sought out and answered for me. She put my needs and worries to rest. I soon found out that our lead caterer was going to be Tina for the day-of. The buffet set-up was perfect and two plates were already waiting for us at our sweetheart table. There was a really sweet man asking if I needed anything (I wish I was more focused to get their names but I still had bride/wedding brain). Tina came up later and introduced herself to see if I needed anything. She told me she was going to box everything up for us which I was excited for since I didn't eat at the reception. Coming from the restaurant industry, I wish I had more time to thank everyone personally that was involved because everything was so great!! Many of my guests had multiple compliments about the food and service. I would recommend Pappa's Catering (especially the fajitas!) to anyone! read more

Of all the wonderful vendors I hired for my wedding, Pappas Catering was the best! I cannot tell you how many times during the wedding planning process I thought to myself "Thank goodness I picked Pappas." Juliet from Pappas was the most responsive, helpful vendor contact you could imagine -she answered emails within hours, called me if things were unclear, revised my quote a million times with no problem, and reassured me every step of the way. Pappas not only delivered AMAZING food (cooked fresh on site), but also provided bussers who helped set up (they lit 100 candles), helped cut cake, pass champagne, and clean up afterwards so my husband and I could leave the venue knowing it was all taken care of. I didn't have to help with a single thing all night. If you don't want to have to stress the night of your event about set up, food, and clean up, then hire Pappas. You won't have to pay a fortune either for amazing service and delicious food that everyone loves! read more
