They lead you through a basic flow with goats that walk through you during different poses or jump on your back while you're in table top. At the end of the classes they teach you some easy positions to go into and will place the goats on you for photos. This place takes great care of their goats as well. My daughter, sister, and I attended Goat Yoga in Gilbert on Friday, June 27th, 2025, and WOW what a blast! We weren't sure what to expect, but it turned out to be the perfect mix of laughter, relaxation, and pure joy. The yoga itself was great, guided by an absolutely hilarious instructor who kept us smiling the entire hour. Her vibe was so refreshingly light-hearted and fun think yoga teacher meets stand-up comic. She made each pose feel like a party. And then... the stars of the show: baby goats and alpacas! The baby goats were beyond adorable, climbing over and under us, snuggling into poses like they'd trained right alongside us. They added an unpredictable but delightful twist to every stretch. And the alpacas? Incredibly soft -- no exaggeration, they might just be the fluffiest creatures on Earth. We laughed, we stretched, and we soaked in every second. We had such an amazing morning at goat yoga. My husband and I planned a day date. I have been wanting to do this for a while and finally we planned to go. First time doing goat yoga & I had a lot of fun. Located not too far from shops/restaurants in Gilbert, this location was easy to find & with ample parking in their dirt lot. I really appreciate that you're able to rent yoga mats there & can buy walk-in tickets. For the experience, there were plenty of goats - even new baby ones! They have people that walk around with food to coax the goats into interacting with the crowd. Yoga instructor was fun & did a good job engaging everyone. It's a cool experience to try and get out with some friends. I have gone quite a bit recently due to some work events where we met up to try goat yoga. Going three times the past few weeks it's a fun time with light yoga (I'm not super experienced). There are also alpacas, cow and donkeys (Hey! Senorita Bonita!). It is a light comedy show while they share facts about it the animals and there is also a group activity involving the animals. I had never experienced Goat Yoga before and didn't know exactly what to expect. Was it fun? Was it worth it? Every penny and then some! Just the right amount of actual yoga (who are we kidding, anyway - we came to see baby goats!) with more than the typical amount of goat antics, photo opportunities, and lots and lots of laughs. In addition to goats dressed in cute Halloween costumes, there were two beautiful alpacas and a sweet cow. An animal lovers dream come true. April and Sarah were amazing and all the helpers were excellent. Sarah's stand-up comedy routine kept me laughing the entire time. Exceptional experience for people of all ages. The founders, April and Sarah, are some driven and adventurous ladies. We appreciated the background and history of how AZ Goat Yoga came to be (established 2015). We joined the 6:30pm 80's themed Goat Yoga class. Beautiful location, tons of goats and 2 adorable Alpacas (Kip and Napoleon). We came to celebrate my sisters birthday so we had customized shirts that we made for our visit (unfortuntely it was just too hot to suit up in our 80's gear (leg warmers, etc). The focus is obviously on the animals and photo opportunities so it is not a hard core yoga class. You can do as much or little yoga as you like. It really is hard to stay focused with all the adorable fur babies waundering about. We were laughing and smiling and hugging goats. It's happiness overload. Well worth the $15 (bring your own mat or towel, or you can rent them there for $5, you can purchase decent ones at Ross or Marshalls for $8-$10), honestly towel is easier on the grass. One of the goats pee'd on our yoga mat. We just shook it off and turned the mat over and kept the fun going. So much fun. Make the effort to check this out. The lady, Sarah, who was leading the class was energetic and full of bad goat puns (which I LOVED). Sure the area isn't full of goats but there are a lot of them there and I got to hold a tiny little baby which that alone I would've paid $15 for! This is not a "serious" yoga class. It is meant to be silly and fun and yeah do yoga too. I would definitely recommend this to anyone out looking to get a light workout and have a blast as they're doing it. Zero concern for the animals and their well being. Judging by how much they talk about all the shows the goats have been on, that's all these people care about: Fame and fortune. I was picturing yoga done near goats and if the goats came up to you it would be nice but they'd be respected and left alone to make their own choices about when and how they interacted with humans. Nope. All the goats were pregnant and being manhandled by humans. They had to be incentivized to even come near us. Staff wandered around throwing food at and around us so that the goats would get near us. The goats had no interest in being around us on their own (that should be a huge red flag). They also brought out Maisy the DAIRY cow. Had I known they were dairy farmers I also would not have gone. She looked MISERABLE, because of course she is-- She's a dairy cow, constantly pregnant and having her babies taken away so that people can drink cow milk. If you actually like and respect animals (and don't just consider them things that exist for your food and amusement), you won't do this. I'm extremely sorry that I participated and gave money to these people and I wish I had done more research. I recommend visiting a farm sanctuary instead so you can be around people who actually have respect for living things. read more

Had a great time! For people not vaccinated, there was zero social distancing or masks. Just be aware. If you're planning to go for yoga, don't get too excited. Most people didn't care about the yoga and were just there for the goats. Which I get, they're cute. But the instructor did a great job leading everyone and me and my boyfriend enjoyed the yoga part. The goats are very sweet but as someone who grew up on a farm, it was a little intense for me to see how obsessed people were. People were way more interested in getting the perfect Instagram shot than actually enjoying the experience. If you're doing this, go and enjoy it. Enjoy the yoga. Enjoy the uniqueness of the whole thing. Put your phone down and wait until the end where there are photo ops. They have clearly worked hard to create a unique and wonderful experience. Rating 5 stars because the instructor and helpers were amazing and we had a blast, just be aware that there are tons of annoying moms and their kids who don't care about the experience, just the goats. read more

This is definitely not a Yoga class, you only do couple of poses at the beginning but it's extremely hard to focus when you have tons of cute baby goats running around. It's was so much fun and all the goats were friendly and seemed happy. they were trained to jump on you and hop from person to person. The goats get 5 stars, no doubt about it! But the actual yoga class and the instructors fell short of my expectations. Overall, my friend and I had an enjoyable experience but I don't think I'll come back. Although advertised as a yoga class, you're essentially just coming here to play with goats and do three or four yoga poses. The majority of the hour long class was spent arranging us into different poses so the staff could take photos and videos. I'm all for a good instagram pic, but I left disappointed because I had expected some actual yoga flow. April and Sarah run the show and they both seem like sweet people but I was put off by their constant statements about "wanting to go viral" and needing "photos to send to the Ellen Show." I appreciate the spirit of entrepreneurship, but the best things come organically. The on-going plugs for their business distracted from the beautiful farm and the cute goats. I don't care about their publicity or the fact that they were featured on local news. The class had about 100 people, so you almost feel like you're a prop... a crowd needed so that April and Sarah become rich and famous. No cancellations or rescheduling allowed. The cost of the class was $14. Free parking. Lots of shade at the 7pm class, and much cooler in the grassy field than I had expected. Worth the experience if you understand you're just there to take pics with cute goats wearing silly costumes. Skip it if you want to actually do yoga. I hope the ladies in charge read my review and give a second thought to their excessive self-promotion. Let the experience speak for itself and your success will follow. read more

I like goats. I like yoga. Someone who is a yoga instructor has a farm with goats. It's a match made in goaty heaven! This is an increasingly popular event in Gilbert. You can sign up for a class online and when I tried to get tickets weeks in advance there was only one time slot available. We went during the "pink moon" goat-ga session in the evening and experienced an hour of yoga poses, photos and most importantly, hanging out with cute goats! Be aware that this place is really far south in Gilbert. It's where all the farmland still exists in the area. It took me about 45 minutes from Phoenix driving with rush hour traffic. The ranch is a private residence so in the interest of privacy they will send you the address to the ranch a day before your class. I will admit that not much yoga was done by the humans I was with nor by myself. The goats got a good workout though! They will jump on your back if you are in the right pose and the instructors tried to have good photo shots of each person with a goat. The goats were dressed in all sorts of fun outfits and there were even some tiny baby goats! Cute overload for sure. The cost is very reasonable. I paid $12 plus a service fee so it ended up being a little less than $14. One thing to note is that since it's outside and on farm property with lots of lush grass, there will be bugs! Bring your mosquito spray if you are a bug magnet. Have fun! May it be a goat-tastic day for you! read more

Love that someone added this to Yelp! I heard about this on the news and was excited to see it come to AZ. My friend and I came in November to try it out and it's in Gilbert, you get the address of the home when you register. Although it was quite a drive, it was a great experience overall! We paid online to reserve our spots and brought water and a yoga mat. The gals were bright and welcoming and we chose some spots in the yoga circle. The goats were adorable of course and it was so fun to interact with them and experience yoga outdoors. The ladies went around and placed the goats on people's backs if they wanted and the guest photographer was great at getting shots of the group and individuals.
