Our room was beautiful and the mattress was so comfy it was a temperpedic, I had never slept on one. You can crank the AC down in your room which I loved. The bathroom was spacious and had all the necessary counter space for my cosmetics. The house was decorated with a mix of modern and antique and there was a Butler's Pantry with a mini fridge coffee air fryer electric tea kettle and absolutely all the fixings you could want. The gardens were gorgeous and I lost count of the different places you could sit. Breakfast we had a choice of bacon eggs grits or cinnamon white chocolate chip pancakes with sausage. If you are in a couple or if you are single and need a night away this is the place! I definitely plan to go back. I may go alone for a retreat! The owner is very personable and well organized.

I stay at all types of lodging from five star hotel complexes to some really sketchy B&B, AirB&B, and a few time I have couch surfed since a town was totally booked for the night. So when I travel overnight for myself, lodging must be excellent. If I am in the Lincolnton area that is a simple choice. The White Rose Manner! Allison and John are attentive hosts, all to willing to assist in making your stay what you need it to be. Allison is an accomplished cook that can accommodate your dietary needs if she is made aware. The rooms are well appointed and comfortable. I tend, if there in the early evening, to play a game of chess with John, who also is an accomplished D&D dungeon master. Conversation is always pleasant, the grounds take you away from traffic, PowerPoint presentations and if you choose to turn it off (I do) cell phone calls. I arrive, get to relax in a wonderful environment, take care of what brought me to the area, then relax some more. You can find me some weekends in a chair by the fireplace, with an adult beverage lost in the thoughts deep and emotionally satisfying a result of the environment created by the hosts. The White Rose Manor is excellent, just excellent. Give it a try sometime, you will not regret your decision.

Quality sleep is everything to me so I was also pleased the beds were super comfortable. The kitchen by far was my favorite part of the Penthouse. I travel for work so the Penthouse was a great weekend alternative to hotel lodging. I will definitely stay at the Birmingham Penthouse again and at any Utopia Suites locations.

This was our first time here so we wanted to try multiple things on the menu. For appetizers we ordered the Burrata and the NC Crispy shrimp. Both were outstanding. We also got some truffle fries to take back home. We then both ordered soups. I had the Lobster Bisque and my wife had the French Onion soup. Once again, they were perfect. I ordered to 10oz Filet Mignon and my wife ordered the romaine lettuce salad. The steak was cooked to perfection (med rare) and the Cajun butter sauce was so good. The mashed potatoes were a victim of the juices from the steak, so they were the best experience but still had great flavor. We capped off our dinner with the crème brûlée cheesecake and some decaf coffee. The service staff were very pleasant and attentive. As a side note, I had the Woodford Old Fashioned and it was wonderful. We can't wait to go back and try more things.

The staff goes above and beyond to make sure that your stay here is stellar. They don't bitch and moan about packages or mail. They have daily trash pick up at your spot. They made us feel very special. Very noble and very American thing to do, evacuees had discounted prices for overnighting with full hookups and no charge for dry. They had organized free meals in cooperation with local restaurants and businesses. Not only that but they provided free tours of the tracks! this is an amazing place and huge with 7 tracks including a dirt track. Very different perspective to be on the infield or like our tour guide did.. went on the Bank of America 400 track at 60 or 70 mph very cool! We are considering coming back at the end of the month for the Bank of America 400 and party on the infield for a week. Thank you Camping World, you didn't have to do this but we truly appreciate to have a home away from home when there is a storm on the way. Your personnel at the store are very nice as well, they helped us with all necessary stuff for sanitizing the fresh water tank

We rented a travel trailer 9/17/21 thru 9/19/21 for NHRA drag races in Charlotte. We reserved a…read morecampsite at the track and arranged to have the trailer delivered and hooked, we just show up and enjoy a great weekend! I've done this in other cities (Pomona, Las Vegas, Denver) and have always had great experiences but Thomas RV left me feeling less than satisfied. The trailer was old and less than pristine, broken trim, less than professional patch job in the shower, just generally pretty run down (you will NOT find a photo of the trailer I rented anywhere on their website). But the kicker was when the carbon monoxide monitor went off the first time the water heater was turned on. I'll come back to the drag races in Charlotte but I won't be renting from Thomas ever again.
