She greeted us with a nice big hug. It felt like I was visiting my grandmother's house. She made sure we felt relaxed, taken care of, and just at home. She is there for all of your needs. The property doesn't look big from the outside but it is enormous. We stayed in the King Suite and it was very comfortable. The bathroom is huge and has a jacuzzi tub in it. The backyard has a lot of space for relaxation. She has games such as miniput, table tennis, and an inground pool. There are tons or chairs, swings and a cabana to relax outside at. The best part of course is the 3 course home made breakfast she makes every morning. It starts out with fresh fruit with yogurt, tea or coffee, water, and a smoothie. Then the main entrée, we had Creole Mahi-Mahi over yellow grits with eggs, croissant, and a salad. It ended off with a rum bread pudding. It was a wonderful staycation, I'll be back to stay and also just to visit Cheryl.

While it's within miles of everything you could ever want or need, it is also on a major roadway, near train tracks & an airport so noise is an issue. I stayed at Cambria for two nights for a work trip. My colleague bragged about it so I was more…read morethan excited to stay. However, it was an underwhelming experience to say the least. Let me start out with what was great. The hotel itself was very clean. The staff were friendly. They have a store with snacks and incidentals which is convenient. The restaurant/bar on the ground floor, the Foxhole, 10 out of 10. Bartenders were great. The hotel room overall was nice. However, the shower, room type, and noise were less than ideal. Now what was not so great. They gave me a wheelchair accessible room which I didn't think was best. I was very concerned with if someone really needed this room, it wouldn't be available. The hotel was not full at all. Next, the shower curtains had mold on them. Disgusting. When I asked to switch rooms, they were unable to accommodate. This all happened the first night. Lastly, I heard the upstairs customer every morning at 5AM. The walking (every single footstep), rolling chairs, and slamming things. It was unbearable. I had to call the Front Desk to get it to stop. The walls are SUPER thin. Needless to say, I didn't have an enjoyable experience. Based on this, I will not stay here again.

We had 15 or so people and trying everyone couldve had their own room. This place is enormous. Both homes are set up with high end appliances, furnishings, and bedding. Not the cheap stuff we expected from the big name Swedish brand that we all know and love. The kitchen has every piece of equipment you could ask for (just bring spices and ingredients!) Each room had its own private bathroom and in the cottage each has their own patio and seating. The fire pit is surrounded by comfortable Adirondack chairs, the pool with plenty of chaise lounges. There were kayaks, ping-pong, arcade games, shuffle board, skeeball, board games, pickleball, fishing, swimming. Plenty to keep the whole party entertained and then some. The hosts were easy to contact should we have needed anything, which we absolutely did not. Only issues we ran across were a somewhat broken yet still functional dishwasher in the Lodge, and a ball getting stuck intermittently in the pinball machine. Both did not impact our stay whatsoever haha. Overall this place is GORGEOUS and honestly would be there perfect setting for your small wedding, family reunion or wedding party get away. 1000% would recommend.
