Lovely old place! 300 years old! Full of the most pleasant looking wooden beams. There is a main bar area, an area that looks more suited for eating and an area with a pool table. I actually think that the pool table leaves them a little short of seating, but this was the most minor of gripes.
The nice bloke running the place keeps the most excellent beers. I was compelled to stay and try all 3! Somerset + Dorset Cottage and the KPA were top beers but it was the Three Tuns 1642 that brought the house down. A seriously lovely flavour to it, chocalatey which was very much at odds with its golden hue! One of the best beers I have had all year! read more
