WOW!! Can't say enough about the AMAZING EXPERIENCE we had a Go Kart World yesterday!! My son was turning 18 and, being a kid at heart, he and his friends chose Go Kart World to celebrate. They came completely dressed up as all the characters from Mario Kart, my son coming as Luigi. At every track they visited there were children and grown ups alike waving, smiling, and asking them to pose for pictures, to which they happily obliged. The track employees were just as gracious, as racing around in full costume isn't always as easy as it seems, lol! The event planning was flawless from start to finish. With the assistance of Go Kart World owner Cynde Harris, every detail was outlined and accomplished before we ever arrived, with our party area clean, ready and waiting when we got there. Very disappointed in the lack of staff they have here and their customer service. This was my first and last time here. My Son needed to use the restroom and I was disgusted with how filthy the women's restroom was with urine all over the floor, toilet paper overflowing in the trash just unsanitary all around. I purchased my tickets through Groupon a two full hours for $75 and left within 45 mins!!! I asked to speak to a Manager while I had left the Family Center, addressed my concerns and dissatisfaction with the place and all she could tell me was if you purchased your ticket through Groupon that you would need to get a refund through them and that she would give me the money back for the tokens that we still had in our hands, which was worth $5.00. Go Kart World is a family racing spot in Carson. Parking lot is small, they offer street parking along the small street they are on. You need a permit from them though. The location itself is not fancy and looks like it has been here forever. If you compare it to Speed Zone in in COI, this place looks super old. Walking around is pretty tight along the paths. Single Race is $5. Kids under 5 cannot ride solo, they need an adult in the kiddo race track. The cars were old school go karts, they ran smooth. Arcade games were basically a buck a game. The claw machines were super rigged, items were heavier then the claw can hold. Workers were nice. They have a BBQ joint on site that sells food. read more

October 1,2022 my family came as a big group. It was no line at the entrance & the guest service was great. (10/10 customer service). They have parking on site or on the street. We choose to park on the street & they gave us a permit to keep us from being ticketed or towed. Upon entry we went to the ticket booth & purchased tickets. (customer service 10/10). The whole night was chill and the environment was too. This is a family friendly place & a place for couples dating as teens/young adults. The only issues I had was the big rats running around the little kid track & the big red & black poisonous spider too. I feel like after parties are done trash should be emptied & area cleaned up. Don't waste your money or time here. Arcade games are nearly half broken and short chick with the ugly a** red n blk fake eyelashes got a nasty a** attitude. She slammed a token on the counter when I asked if could get change for a dollar bill so I can convert just one quarter into a token at the machine since I had 3 tokens and wanted to just use 4 tokens for the games that are all only 2 or 4 tokens each. I just needed this help so we would finish out a game and leave but this girl got hot headed for no reason. Sucky customer service and her ears don't work. Work on it girl. I finally have the opportunity to leave a review, so here's an update. I absolutely do not recommend this place. It's supposed to be a place for kids to have fun, but the staff is far from friendly and doesn't even greet you. It's disappointing and unavoidable that they seem to hate being there, but it's unacceptable for them to yell at the kids and show no kindness. When my daughter didn't understand how to operate the cart and asked a staff member for help, they responded by telling her to hurry up because everyone else was already running. And they said it in a shouting manner. That is absolutely unacceptable. Kids get confused, and if you can't kindly help them, please consider changing your job. I hosted my son's 13yr old birthday in February. I had not been there since before COVID so I didn't know what to expect. I was very impressed with Cynde's quick response to my email regarding my party request. She was also gracious enough to allow me to change my date due to the rain without a charge. It was our first time here and had our kid's Birthday party to boot! They have rides for kids of all ages and for the adults too. The reservation process was pretty easy even for a weekend event. They have specific requirements regarding food but if your option is pizza, I highly recommend a local well established pizza place called Philipo's Pizza and they deliver! It's unfortunate that the employees have no recommendations or summary of what each track was like. Pretty much all of the tracks last several minutes which all felt so short. There's a track that features fast go karts which cost an extra $5 per person. The race itself was much longer than the ones we did; make me wish all the rides were that long. The place is older, but my kids had a blast on a quiet Tuesday night during a week off from school. This place is straight out of the 90s, with old bathrooms and decor to match. However, the variety of tracks, short/no lines on a weeknight, and good prices makes this a fun place to visit. Despite how quiet the place was, service was excellent. I was expecting the workers to be lackadaisical since business was slow, but not at all. Their website touts that many celebrities have visited this place, but all of those photos and YouTube videos are from before HD was invented. I wish I could give this place a 0/5 I went to this go-kart place, and the staff handling the karts were rude from the start. They didn't explain anything about how the ride works. When we were confused, they kicked us out, claiming they had explained everything. I told them we couldn't hear well, and one of them sarcastically said, "What do you want me to do about it? Red means stop, doesn't it?" The front desk staff were nice, but the two outside were really hostile and kept giving each other annoyed looks. One worker used hand signals to tell us to go, then got mad when we did. Good fun for kids. They love that they get to drive and race "for real". Watch out for height requirements. My son is over 4 feet tall but wasn't tall enough to ride the track he was hoping to ride. We did have fun on the track furthest from the entrance. Beware Moms and Dads: this track is BUMPY. Don't race with your head on the headrest!! ...take it from me... hahahhaha The day pass is a good deal if you can hang out for awhile. I have seen Groupons in the past if you want to do a few races. If you are only going to do one race, they let you buy a ticket instead of a pass / package. We went here last weekend with my 3 toddlers and husband and we all had a lot of fun. There were about 5 different tracks, what I loved is that even my 2 year old was able to ride as long as she was with an adult. She had soooo much fun. The bigger tracks go pretty fast and the smaller kiddy ones were perfect for the younger kids. The arcade was closed but if it was open it looks like it would definently be entertaining. We went early around 11am but if we waited any longer we would've left because the line to get in was INSANE! The only cons of this place was first the parking was awful, tiny parking lot unless you park on the street which is very narrow and scary although we had to park there, and second a few of the karts safety belts were super old and could definitely be replaced. Best outdoor go-kart track I've been to. My 8 year old and I really loved this no Frills go kart course. We were in a go kart driving within 10 minutes of getting there. He was able to drive on 5 of the 6 tracks and was a huge fan. Highly recommend as long as you understand that there is nothing fancy about this place. read more

Staff is a joke. On the super track you had to slow down for workers playing baseball on the track. Bumper cars was 15 minutes before staff even arrived. They have 5 or so different tracks and it's pretty fun but my son was under 52" so I had to ride with him and he was bummed. I got 2 rides per kid which only lasted less than 20 minutes so it's definitely a better deal if you buy the 1.5 hour pass than per game. The arcade was pretty lame, most of the claw games are a joke; there's NO actual grip so you can't pull a toy out even if you aim right on and its not tucked under anything at all.
