I love this place! I usually get $60 for 75 tokens and every machine is 1 token. Thats such a good deal because the machines aren't rigged. If they are they are doing a good job letting people win most of the time. I think there were a few machines at time I had to try 8 times and gave up because I couldn't pick up the plushie. But usually one token I get one plushie. This place is absolutely addictive but I like it over other places because you can upgrade your plushies for bigger ones at the front desk. It's such a nice treat because if we have a bunch of little ones we don't want, and a big one we do like better, it's worth it. I leave with at least one big plushie that I exchange for 8 medium plushies, and a few more medium plushies. Total I take home each trip 1 big plushie, and 3-6 medium to little plushies. Other claw machine places I feel cheated because you either have to put a bunch of coins in to play once, or the plushies aren't easy to grab. This place is not only affordable, but you put one coin for each machine for one play. It's really fair and wants you to win. Cute claw arcade in Torrance with a decent number of machines, friendly staff and clean setup. 1 token per game on the larger machines but two plays per token on the smaller ones. Very cute selection of plushies and trade ups are possible but for the medium/large stuffies only. I've become somewhat of a regular of these arcades as they've been popping up in SoCal, and have become somewhat good at figuring out what helps for machines. Weight distribution matters and claw strength! I found that the small machines were much easier to win prizes (maybe by intention) and the larger machines had such cute prizes but loose grip strength in the claw making it harder to win the bigger, good prizes. So all of a sudden your tokens start vanishing quickly. I had 50 token credits and ended up with two medium sized plushies and 6 small items, which for me is on the smaller end of a haul. Still had fun but other claw arcades may give you a better win rate. Parking is plentiful, in the same lot as a Dollar Tree and several other stores. read more

My youngest adult son loves claw machines and I really wanted to take him to a human claw machine, but we decided to go to a clawcade that would be fun for the whole family. This establishment is actually a great idea for all ages. I saw a lot of little kids; however, my adult boys as well as me and my husband enjoyed ourselves. We won quite a bit of stuffed animals so winning is very common here. Prices are actually very good. I was impressed how affordable it was for the whole family and I would highly recommend this clawcade for your next fun outing for your family. The downside is that it's not a big place, but there's a lot of machines and although it's busy, it's not too bad. If I was alot closer to this place I would come more often. My husbands fun fact is that he is good at claw machines, he says that you have to be willing to invest time and money but if you stick with it then it pays off. I found this place while randomly finding a claw arcade in the SFV. He lit up when he went inside and said the claws were good! We really enjoyed a trip into this unique arcade that exclusively features claw style games where you attempt to pick up a prize with a mechanical claw. The arcade is near Kura revolving sushi so if it's busy at the sushi bar you can slip into this arcade for a little fun before having dinner. The claw games are extremely challenging but still fun to play. It may take awhile to win something or you may walk away without a win. I've been on a mission to play all the claw machines in LA and saw this new little spot. I put down $20 with a few yelp check-ins (you get $2 of coins each check-in) and ended up with two larger sized plushies. I felt the cranes were pretty fair compared to many other claw arcades that I've been to. The payouts seem to come more often than not and double tapping the button does indeed lock the claw into place. The trade up values wasn't really shown so I don't know if you can really trade up plushies for bigger stuff although it did say you could on the wall. Prizes were better IMO than other spots so I give this place a thumbs up for fairness and price. $1 per play, definitely a fun spot worth checking out in Gardena! read more

We have visited multiple claw arcades. While we always understand there's always a little bit of luck and skill involved, we had a super great return here. We spent 20 dollars and won 4 toys. Our 6 year old won a couple of toys on her own. The claw strength to prize size are better than other places we have been to and many of the machines are filled up high making it easier to win. We recently had my son's 4th birthday party at The Clawcade and everyone (including the parents and siblings) had a GREAT time! The space is open, bright, secure, clean and offers a welcoming environment to play together in one room with full visibility of the entire space. Folks were cheering by for each other, helping one another and celebrating wins! Every child big and small won stuffies!!!! The staff is super helpful and professional. They even traded stuffies for children who wanted a certain style or color. Everyone was soooo happy! I will say the stuffed animals at The Clawcade are high quality and adorably cute! They are stuffed animals you actually want to win! TBH, when I first got the quote for the birthday party, I was surprised as the cost being substantially more than a competitor. However, I quickly understood what I was paying for and it was worth every penny! The space is top-notch, safe, clean and again, the product is of superior quality! The owner Christina is a fellow mom, and she just gets it! She's attentive, professional and focused on ensuring her customers have a wonderful experience. Everything from including adorable birthday stuffies for every child, water bottles and table set-up...to offering to include all table cloths, plates, napkins and cutlery! She even offered coloring sheets and crayons, and gave me great ideas about what tends to work well in the space (extra activities and food). TIP: there is a Dollar Tree and Donut shop in the same complex, so if you need anything last minute you're covered. We picked up donut holes as part of our party snacks and it was perfect. Also, Kura Sushi is next door and if you put your name in, it makes a great lunch spot when you're done! For parties, it's is totally private, so you have the entire place for your guests before opening! It was perfect timing for the kids, and our party was 10-Noon. Plenty of time to play yet not too long for the parents or kids! We had a dedicated staff of 3 people, including the owner. They helped us load and unload the car, set-up the food and stored things in the fridge and replenished as needed during the party! They even offered to take family photos for us. It was so nice to have someone else to help manage, especially someone who actually cares about doing a good job! I would definitely recommend The Clawcade for a party! Yes, I swear to you, it is worth paying a bit more!!! I'd also recommend this place as a fun play date spot for you and the kids! Fun little spot we popped into while waiting for our table at Kura next door. We spent 20 dollars on tokens, plus got two free for checking in. There were about a dozen medium and large claw machines and maybe 6 tiny ones. We managed to get 4 plushies in the about 10-15 minutes we were there. The large claw machines didn't seem strong enough to actually grab those size plushies, but I did see someone with one at Kura later. Medium was definitely the way to go! read more

I honestly wasn't a fan of the plushies that they had. Even their trade ups weren't appealing. The trade up prizes are more geared towards the younger kids. These are big claw machines where most of their plushies are considered to be mediums and about 2 machines with large plushies. The trade ups are: Trade 7 medium plushies, OR trade 4 large plushies, OR trade 2 large plushies AND 3 medium plushies. It's a cashless facility. It's one token per game. One token is $1. Starting from $20, you'll get extra tokens. The special package starts from $50 and $60 where you get one free plushie. $100 gets you two free plushies and an additional 30 tokens. It's actually pretty difficult to get even one plushie. It typically takes at least 5+ tries. You need to grab the plushie at a certain spot or the claw will let go immediately. The claw grip doesn't close all the way for most of the machines. Didn't realize one of our plushies had a hole in it :'( until we got home ! I recommend this claw machine spot for younger kids and not for date nights. Employees were nice. It's located in a lot with 7-Eleven, bakery, and a tea spot. I'm not sure about restroom if it's a public, but I did see one at the back. They close Tuesdays. Open 1pm-8pm weekdays and 12-8 weekends. read more

I was recommended this place by someone we met when going to see Moana 2 with the kids. I brought all my kids here, and let me tell you it did not disappoint. Each machine works off of one coin, the small machines you get two tries, and the big machines you get one try. I bought 100 dollars worth of coins...they have a deal where you get 130 coins. We must've walked out with 40 stuffies of all sizes. Have you ever played a claw machine and thought "this is rigged, I'll never get it." And then you never play again. Well I have good news for you, bring your kid here and you won't regret it. You will walk out happy with how well you did. These claws actually pick up the items. Not only that but the workers constantly rearrange the animals to make it better for the customer. If one machine has all the stuffed animals stuck, they'll go and rearrange them more loosely. I have 4 kids and each of them probably got 10 or more of various sizes. What's really cool is they have bigger prizes not in the machines to where you can trade. My son traded 2 large stuffies and 3 mediums for a huge legit stuffie backpack. The stuffies they have here are also very good quality, and not low grade stuff. I recommend even if you're not in the area and you have kids to bring them here. The only downside but I didn't mind too much, it's all digital payment. Music and atmosphere is super chill, relaxed and kid friendly. It was nice to watch groups if folks try their shot at winning a plushie! One of my favorite places to destress and have fun especially during the weekdays. Workers are always sweet and cheerful. The place itself is pretty big and always spotless. The reason why I drive all the way from Ventura County is because of their high quality plushies. Unlike other stores, this place has the absolute cutest variety. They have small, medium, and large claw machines that have a great payout. The workers even help reposition the plushies so that they are easier to grab. I prefer coming here over Round 1.
