    Everything Bagel
    Deniz K.

Every time I come to NYC I always crave a NYC bagel, there just isn't anything like it elsewhere. I ordered an everything bagel with scallion cream cheese, toasted. + Bagel flavor was excellent and doughy, just like how I like a NYC bagel + Loved that I could order lite cream cheese and it was actually a light amount provided + Service was good + Bathrooms available for use - The everything bagel bits were unfortunately a bit burned so the bagel tasted a bit burnt and I had to scrape a lot of the seeds off. Likely would have been safer with another bagel option Will likely come back given close to home but may order a different bagel type

Go Bagels bought the location and this business and menu is now totally different. It previously was my favorite Bagel Point at this location. I am so disappointed I can't get the cragels, cheddar bacon cream cheese or my other favorite menu items anymore. I had a Pumpernickel Bagel with Chipotle Cream Cheese. My receipt is wrong. The price is good $6.48 with tax. BUT it's nothing to write home about. They have the same old flavors of bagels and cream cheese as every other bagel shop. I don't see anything special that I can't get close to home. Next time I'm in midtown for the doc and treat myself to brunch, I'll be finding a new place to go beforehand. This is a half mile walk from the doctor's office and I could jump back on the train and head uptown for something better to eat. I wonder if I did enjoy eating the bagel and cream cheese or was I just hungry after starving before bloodwork? Try it if you want fast friendly service I can guarantee that! Employees are not happy about the change in their business either!

    - ALBACORE TUNA SALAD ON EVERYTHING BAGEL

The classic tuna sandwich on an everything bagel hit the stop. The tuna salad was perfect. As a chef, I truly appreciated the freshness, the balance of tuna to mayo ratio, and the superb quality of tuna. The bagel had that wonderful NY classic chewiness but still felt light enough to not overpower the tuna salad (which happens a lot with bagels). They prepare food the way I would prepare it for my clients. You can taste the quality of the ingredients. Also the coffee blew me away. Had a cup and you could taste notes of dark chocolate, berries and molasses. I love coffee so I asked. Cashier told me is organic from small farmers in Colombia, specially roasted for the store here in NYC

Great prices ($5.95 for egg and cheese, not overpriced for vegetarians!) the food was just as good as the photos show. Also i keep coming back to try a new cream cheese they have on display, great place during lunch breaks! Service was kind, quick and friendly, clean store interior and relaxed/well paced when they are busy. Good option for breakfast!

Charging for butter is ridiculous. It's butter, not a schmear. Too bad because their bagels, bialys, coffee, and schmears are excellent.

The food was stale. The shop was well-kept, though. The staff lacked in focus, I thought. Also, the value wasn't great.

It came out as a thick piece of deep-fried toast topped with ice cream, boba, caramel popcorn, and strawberries on the side. Not healthy at all, but really good. They have a water dispenser, two locking bathrooms, and plenty of outlets, so I already have a very positive view of Grace Street as a good place to rest. The food is alright. It's a bit overpriced and the teas are not good quality. However, the desserts are delicious. I usually split a slice of basque cheesecake with my friends. The regular and matcha have both been good in my experience. I don't like chocolate cake, so I haven't tried that variety. I wish the pumpkin was available in the smaller size too! I've tried their boba, and it isn't good. The hot teas are okay but not great. They're pretty much just syrup and milk. I would avoid the drinks and just get the desserts! I haven't personally tried the bingsoo, but I've heard good things. The waffle is alright--all in all, come here to recharge and for the basque cheesecake!

And I commonly see the upstairs for private events like baby showers, bridal showers, or birthday parties on social media. After dinner with my friends, I was looking for dessert and I was glad to see this location closes relatively late on a weekday night at 11 pm. Upon walking in, I was greeted by a waiter who led us to one of the purple velvet chair booths that was perfect for two people and another waiter brought us a pitcher of water almost immediately. The menu is on a QR code already on the table and we were given ample of time to decide. My friend and I both already knew what we wanted to order. I got the purple Yam Souffle which takes 25 minutes to make and my friend got the fried squid tails. We also got a signature Rose Green Milk Tea to share. The waitress who took our order has great memory and recalled all of our items without writing it down. She also reminded me that I could adjust the ice and sugar levels of my drink which I had completely forgotten and would have got annoyed if my drink came out 100% sweetness. Another thing is that my drink order frequently comes out wrong at other locations so I was glad she got it right! Green tea instead of black tea and with milk instead of without milk. The purple Yam Souffle is just like the other locations. Hot, soft cakey texture balanced with an ice cold red bean Ice-Cream. So delicious! The squid tails on the other hand was not what we expected. It came out burnt and hard. The outer batter was not crispy either. We informed one of the waiters and he brought it back to inform the kitchen staff. We received a new batch that was not as burnt and had more flavoring this time around. However, the squid was still hard and not like the ones we get from other locations with smaller crispier pieces. Overall, it was still a good experience and I love the decorations at this location! This might be my second favorite location after the Flushing one. Would love to come back for brunch or hi-tea. Or regular food options when I have not already eaten dinner. My usual go-tos are the twister fries, Santa Fe chicken rolls, fried salted crispy chicken, and the trio dessert combo. However, this location has a lot more variety! FYI - there are two unisex restrooms in the rear for customers to use with really cute wallpapers too.

We ordered potted rose milk tea to share, Dubai affogato and Brown Sugar Boba Mille Crêpes Cake. We came on a Friday around 4pm. Originally I wanted to try the strawberry matchamisu, however, was told that it sold out. What a bummer. The rose milk tea came with a themed pot and cups which is really cute. The rose fragrant smelled so good and the milk tea also tasted good and has a hint of rose taste. The cake was good, the boba was well cooked, chewy and flavorful! This time there was an unpleasant experience. At first when the Dubai affogato was served, we did not realize that the amount of the coffee was little until we saw another customer's dish that the volume of their coffee looked significantly more than ours. My friend brought it to the waitress attention but the waitress brushed it off and did not acknowledge our concern. When we finished and were about to leave, the same waitress came over and showed us that the container of the coffee was different and hence the volume of the coffee looked different. At this point, we did not care for it anymore. We would have been fine if the staff acknowledged our concern. We thought that maybe using standardized containers for the coffee would avoid this problem. Other than that, the food and drinks were good.

They're a little pricey, but each donut is a pretty hefty ring of chewy glutinous rice flour batter. I had them the following morning, and the donuts still tasted fresh. There was a little bit of oiliness from the frying, but it did not taste off or too greasy. I think this is from the meticulous frying process and good management of the oil.
