The bed was beautifully made and the linens where ironed crisp, but the pillows where flat and the bed was extremely lumpy. With all of the nice updates, I recommend that they update the mattresses and pillows. Then it would certainly get 4 stars in my book.

The waitstaff and management are cheery and helpful, and the wifi's complimentary. We've stayed in 3 of the 15 or so rooms and enjoyed the spacious and distinctively decorated accommodation. All rooms are upstairs and there's no lift, so heavy luggage is a pain in the 500+ year old hallways.

Some of the activities are a bit expensive (e.g bowling) but there are a lot of things you can do on a budget (the swmming pool is free to use and activities start from around £4.50).

Breakfast was delicious, and the accommodations are incredibly comfortable and quaint. The road to turn on/off of from The Glebe is incredibly busy, so take caution when turning on/off the main road.
