Sherbourne House has a small restaurant and bar and the food is really very good although there are also several excellent restaurants within walking distance if you fancy a change. Harry and the people at The Feathers were extremely accommodating and helpful. We had a local friend check out the place and it came highly recommended. We contacted the hotel and restaurant by email and were able to work out all of the details. We had about 40 people in attendance for a sit-down dinner of traditional roast beef and Yorkshire pudding. We also had a band, which The Feathers also had no problem accommodating. The Feathers did not charge a room fee or hourly use fee; only food, drink, and some fresh flower centerpieces at reasonable prices.. They put down a small dance floor in front of the band at no additional charge too. On the morning of the reception the tables were beautifully set and they allowed us to come and place additional wedding favors down with no problem. They handled the placement and took extra care to set up our guest-book, cake, and gift tables with our wedding colors. We had an open bar, which served us all night. The Feathers really made our reception perfect. I can't thank them enough. May not be great for larger weddings, 75 and above, but great for us.
