Due to Safeway's e-coupons I tend to shop there more, and have gotten used to and reliably dependent on their store brand of natural and organic items so that I don't go to Sprouts as often in general, and in particular when I'm in Natomas I always tend to go to the Safeway across the street. In any case this review is about Sprouts, not Safeway so let me stick to the subject. This store is pretty big, it anchors the shopping center at the South East corner of Del Pas and E. Commerce not far from I-5. However, despite its size I think it must be smaller than the one in Elk Grove because overall it seems to have less merchandise and there's not a dedicated clearance section like there is in EG where I find interesting goodies to purchase that I wouldn't otherwise pick up to try at full price. So that was a disappointment. Otherwise, this is just like every other Sprouts Farmers Market, with an abundance of produce, a load of meats and seafood in their sections, a good assortment of pantry items from less conventional and more natural & organic brands in multiple aisles, as well as a pretty comprehensive deli and ready to eat section, not to mention bulk foods and the huge health & beauty section that carries a very wide variety of vitamins, minerals, supplements, and of course beauty and hygiene products. Staff was friendly and helpful when I asked if they carried different flavors of a particular drink than displayed. Overall, this is a pretty good Sprouts but I still prefer the bigger one in Elk Grove, although this one is definitely good sized and much bigger than the one in Land Park near Sacramento Zoo so it's still a fairly fine and acceptable above average Sprouts Farmers Market supermarket.

The employee preparing the drinks couldn't find the green tea and had to keep asking the same woman for help. She eventually took over, but the drinks didn't taste right. There was no green tea flavor, or lychee only hibiscus (I'm not saying she didn't add it, it didn't taste like it.) Honestly, the bigger issue for me was the lack of customer service. The previous location I used to visit always felt welcoming, so this was disappointing. A simple acknowledgment like "I'll be right with you" would have gone a long way. That said, I DO want to give credit to the employee who stepped in and helped me--he was polite and attentive. As for the woman with short hair, I hope she works on her customer service approach. But what Nutrishop has that gnc and vitamin shop doesn't, is persons like Joe that are very knowledgeable on all the products in store. Since switching my Creatine source from GNC Beyond Raw Hydrochloride to Nutrishop Cre-Alkaloid, I saw results on the first workout. I ask Joe honestly for what he would add and he recommends stuff I never heard before. And best part is, everything is safe and I don't have to worry about contamination from black market pro hormones. Joe recommend the Lipo Carnitine Fat Burner to mix with Bucked Up pre workout. The lipo is caffeine free and offsets the caffeine in the Bucked up. Then recommended taking the phosphates which maximizes the benefits of protein. I take that with the Creatine Alkaloid and it's a killer, pump, workout and fat burn. Post workout shakes I substitute PB2 artificial powdered peanut butter for real peanut butter. I was putting way too much skippy in my protein shakes.
