First it's the closest to my house - although still a ways away. Second, the parking lot is easy to get to and there's tons of parking. Third, check-in was quick and then you walk right in. No waiting. Fourth, it was a hot day and I was allowed to bring my dog inside. Fifth, all of the products are visible and touchable, not behind the glass. Sixth, good selection and some great promos. But by far the best asset was Carrie, the associate who helped me. She was incredibly friendly and super knowledgeable, not just about the products they sold but about cannabis in general, useful websites, how the different cannabinoids attach to different receptors and are helpful for various conditions, etc. A wealth of knowledge, willing to share and easy to understand. He mentioned it was two or three times bigger, and he was not exaggerating. It is tucked back in an industrial area with a big lot and plenty of parking. The entire exterior is covered in gorgeous "flower" murals, and I was impressed before I even walked inside. At the door, the security guard was checking IDs and he was genuinely friendly. He asked if it was my first time there, and when I told him it was, he told me to make sure I mentioned it at the counter for a little first time treat. That alone set a great tone. They do not allow photos inside, so phone went away. Walking in was almost overwhelming in the best way possible. So many brands, so many options, and a ton of good sales going on. I definitely needed more time to browse than I had, but I was on a bit of a time crunch. I ended up grabbing a couple new bags of gummies and a THC beverage. When I got to the counter, I told them it was my first visit just like the security guard suggested. The person helping me lit up, welcomed me warmly, and offered me several different complimentary options to choose from. I ended up going with gummies. That is the opposite experience that I had with this product. It made me feel like I had anxiety, anxious, and made me literally pass out. I called to report it to the budtender, so they would have it on record if anybody else was having the same issues with this batch. I started to tell them and they put me on hold and never came back to the phone. I looked up Stiizy on line and was mortified to see that they've been sued for having pesticides and other things in their flowers. Marijuana is our medicine and dispensaries are like the doctor. Obviously a doctor prescribes your medicine and can't always predict what the side effects are gonna be or if it's gonna work. I do understand that. But due to the fact that they put me on hold when I was letting them know I had a bad experience with one of their products and they never came back to the phone. Is the reason I will never come back!
