It also tasted good. However, after looking more closely at the ingredients and comparing the nutrition label to the actual portions, I had some concerns. I weighed each component and found about 50 g of cooked Angus steak, 90 g of cooked rice, and about 50 g of broccoli. The nutrition label lists 45 g of carbohydrates, but 90 g of cooked rice does not normally contain that many carbs, which suggests that a significant portion comes from added ingredients. The same applies to the protein. The label claims 34 g of protein, but based on the amount of cooked beef included, that number seems difficult to justify. Overall, I feel the nutrition label is somewhat misleading, and the added ingredients increase the calories much more than expected for what is essentially a simple meal of steak, rice, and broccoli. It's convenient and easy to prepare, but in my opinion, it's not a great choice for someone trying to eat healthy or accurately track calories and macros. To me, it feels more like another product marketed as healthy than one that truly delivers on that promise.
