They never pick up the phone and they never open on time. The hours are stated 9am-8pm and the doors are still locked and lights are still off even after opening time. Don't waste your time calling and popping up at this location. It's at a loss. The location on eastern is always great. So I recommend going over there. Never had any issues with Easter location, they're professional and nice and even is open on time unlike this location. read more

Store has signage all over the front saying "yes we are open call the number for curbside delivery" however after calling countless times not once did anyone answer the phone!!!!!!! Called multiple GNC stores in the area and nobody answered at any location. This is noon on a Tuesday and they should not have signs stating they are open when they clearly aren't. read more

Had to do an exchange due to a product making me sick. The manager working was extremely rude and not at all knowledgable on products as I had to tell him what was in the products and the blend consistancy. He kept trying to push the female product on me (which anyone in the industry knows is bullshit and usually over glorified biotin with a pink label) he then asks me why I am coming to his store and not the store I purchased at! I said I lived close by to which he responded "do you work for corporate" no fuckwad I just want to exchange a product that made me sick!!! Extremely rude will not go back. read more

This store failed me. Its unfortunate but I will never shop from this specific location again. I ran out of protein powder and decided to pick some up, since my internet shipment wasn't going to arrive in time. When I walked into the store, I was immediately greeted which ordinarily would have been great, but the employee at the time decided to follow me. I am not sure if I look suspicious or he thought I was trying to steal, but I felt so hovered over I got anxious and was forced to make a decision too quickly (I forgot to purchase something else I wanted to look for). I was disappointed to find they only had the 2lbs size of the protein powder I was shopping for, but on suggestion of the employee, who clearly had nothing better to do than micromanage my shopping, I decided to buy the one he had on "special." Here is where things get interesting. It was on sale for 19.99 according to the ugly orange sticker on the bottle. I figured this was a score and I wouldn't mind buying a larger size, after all we should support local brick stores. Because I had been so rushed in the store, I didn't notice when I was overcharged by about $5. I went home feeling good about my purchase until on a whim I decided to check for an expiration date. Thats when I noticed it was for September/2017. (About 10 days away from the time of my purchase.) I checked the receipt to see what their return policy was, only to discover that they had charged me more than the price on the sticker. I never did discover why. (I suspect it might have something to do with their loyalty program, but this was never even presented to me as an option or explanation.) So the next day (today) I went back to the store right when it opened to return the product. But this store continued to fail. When I walked in and told the employee I had a return, he gave me attitude about not being open. I said that I thought they opened at 9:00AM (I walked in a few minutes after 9:00AM). Thats when he started backtracking, they were open but he wasn't open (maybe he meant ready for customers). I can understand if the computer was still starting up and I just needed to wait for it to be able to do what I came to do, but the attitude with which this was not clearly presented immediately enraged me. Why not just say "Sorry It'll be just a second for the computer to come up" instead of implying that I was a horrible person for coming in during business hours? If I were apt to speak my mind, and say what I really wanted to I would have replied "Oh forgive me oh great and mighty employee of the GNC for coming to the store when it was open but not open. " But I was only more determined that this store not have a single dime of my money as a result of his substandard customer service. When he asked why I wanted to return the product and I told him about the expiration date (I didn't even mention the overcharge), he tried to convince me to keep it because "its typically good for 4 months after the expiration." At that point I was done. You don't say that to a customer! If a customer comes into your store wanting to return a product because its going to expire, you say "Oh I'm sorry." You don't need to do anything more than give me an apology. I mean seriously is that completely lost on you? You don't even have to mean it, but the words I'm sorry would have gone a long way in this situation. I probably wouldn't have felt the need to write a review. Instead I'm so completely blown away by the terrible customer service, that I feel compelled to write about it. Its not that I'm expecting the moon, just a little common courtesy. Went in today, the 2 guys working both incompetent. Talking like frat boys to one another. When I stated that they needed a larger fridge, the one comments "what would you like us to put in it sir?" Well, you have a mini fridge and everything else is warm. I thought this would be obvious. Then upon check out neither could figure out how to accept cash. They asked me for a card. SMH also neither one appears they themselves practiced what they preach. Their level of appearance was less than "fit" . I will just drive the few extra miles to Vegas Discount Nutrition on Eastern. Okay so this GNC they breath down your neck the whole time. Its uncomfortable I was looking for a diet pill that I haven't tried and he tried to sell me on every single product in the store. What a joke. Went to purchase some JIm Stoppani products because he said all GNCs were having a buy one get one half off. Apparently, they are franchised so the owner wasn't participated in the sale. I try and support local businesses but if you aren't going to treat me with respect and screw me over, I guess I will be forced to order online. Poor service... came in looking for a specific item Peanut Butter Ginger Chews... and the balding guy with the glasses said they don't make that flavor quite rudely inside of an empty store. I then looked and said they do make that flavor, now if you don't have it that's a different thing. Then Attitude-ish "if we had it I would tell you" came from him, as if I was bantering him with multiple questions that he already answered- when all he needed to say was 'sorry, we don't have any' and we could leave it at that. But nope... He wanted to be an ass at 11 AM and I am more than willing to help him feel like one too. I paused and said 'As in at all or none in stock? Because they DO make that specific flavor- because I have one in my purse- so there's that and if you weren't aware, that's something you need to brush up on- not be rude to customers asking about it." It's too damn early in the morning to have an attitude... any other GNC employee states when they are either sold out or not in stock... So I now see why y'all are rated so low and have crappy reviews. No product in stock, plus rude and unhelpful employees. AKA only in business just because it's a large chain. Not a big fan of this GNC location. The general manager working there yesterday 10/5, around 12, was extremely pushy. We knew what we wanted, and what we were looking for. Everything we picked up and looked at, he would comment, or say try this instead. But it looked like he was just pushing the expensive stuff, maybe he needed to boost sales for the day. This is a typical GNC store. They have a friendly staff. However, they are frequently out of the whey protein that I purchase and have an extremely difficult time getting it in. Additionally, the manager has a scent diffuser plugged in that fills the tiny store with a noxious scent that is suffocating and makes it hard to breathe. This will trigger an asthmatic or anaphylactic reaction in people who are sensitive. Therefore, I will not be returning to this store. read more
