Smells sour like they've mopped the floors with dirty water or something. The staff were ok, the food and service were pretty bad. Waited almost 40 mins for a medium sized Mac and cheese a salad and small drink, $16 not worth it. Figure I give this place a try since it looks legit from outside. I guess I'll be heading over to noodles and company from now on. If you'd like to give it a try, you should. But for me it's a pass for next time.

We placed our order and made our way down the checkout. I asked if the hot honey was served on the side and was assured it was for takeout orders. I got home and realized that they left out the sauce all together. It wasn't on the bowl or in the bag. Utter disappointment to get the hot honey chicken without that signature spice. The strawberries were also haphazardly dipped. Leafs in the chocolate. They can do better

This location has a large bar and a lot of indoor and outdoor seating, Our waitress was very friendly and efficient and she gave me and my friend time to catch up and chat before she took our dinner order. We both ordered three tacos each, which includes rice and beans. And some of the tacos were only $3 each (Thursday special). The food was delicious and flavorful! I love the carne asada, Korean beef (sweet & salty), and the veggie black bean and corn. I tried the Al Pastor and while the flavors were good, I thought the pork was too chewy.

The Pineapple Express is still a fave, as are the Cauliflower Bites appetizer. I am such a fan of Twisted Plants on Brady St. This weekend we decided to stop by their Cudahy…read morelocation. We dropped by on a Saturday evening at around 7:20pm. Their Brady Street locale is open until 10pm on Saturdays but just a note that this location is only open until 8pm (and may pack up prior to that even). We ordered our dinner and indicated that we'd be dining in. We were the only customers in the place. We ordered and took a seat. The cashier proceeded to put chairs on top of tables so we ate surrounded by a completely packed up dining room (bizarre, given they didn't close for another 40 minutes). My dining companion ordered their up in smoke burger with onion rings and he ended up getting served fries instead. They were already so packed up we didn't want to have them cook up onion rings so he settled for the fries. It's also a bit spendy. Dinner for two (two burgers and fries and two waters) ran us $50+ after tp, which seemed a bit steep for order-at-the-counter-fast casual, even for vegan fast casual. Randomly we got similar vegan meals elsewhere recently and for nearly identical meals (burgers + fries + water), one cost us $37 and the other $29. So, yeah, $50 felt high. Why the 5 stars? Because, it cannot be denied--they serve up some kickin' vegan eats. Like--order literally anything on the menu and you can't go wrong. I got the pineapple express burger, which hit the perfect sweet and savory note. Their fries are seasoned and waffle (and amazing). Get to it! (but maybe not near closing and not on a week where funds are short)
