I try to return the protein I didn't like ., I try it for 3 weeks and didn't like the results ., since I read and were told before by the employee that I can buy without any worries . So today I came here and I got yelled at the rude employee said to me : I Know what your doing ! People like you..., Trying to get free stuff and abused the system. I try to get the employees name but he denied it to me and wouldn't give me his managers name . Lying to people in order to get Business ., and posting a sign with false advertising can be ilegal . Really bad service. We want to return the items, but they are really unwilling to helping us becoz we bought too much online. They ask us to call customer service, but customer service told us we can come here to return. They meant like it's our faults to buy so many GNC products online so that they can't help us in the retail store. First of all, there were no rules saying in the Internet that we cannot return items in the store. Then they let us feel buying GNC products online is a bad behavior. Came here to exchange a preworkout I had got at another GNC location, preworkout was clumpy so never used. Obviously needed to do an exchange, the new guy called his manager to help with the exchange unfortunately the manager told him he can't do it because it's opened... so I had to go back to the original store I purchased from in Azusa, they didn't hesistant to do the exchange for me when I told him about my experience of trying to do an exchange at Arcadia location he told me that's weird and wrong of them to turn down my exchange. Exactly what I thought! I had to drive all the way back and forth just to do an exchange when they could have done it for me in the first place. Stopped by with the kiddos to ask for donations for an upcoming free musical event in downtown LA. Jerry and Moses at this store were the only ones who ended up giving us anything that day in the plaza, they told me they were just starting to open up the store so they didn't have much to offer, but they managed to scrape up something lol. It opened my heart so I bought some supplements that I needed anyway. Got a collagen powder by vital proteins and asked for a recommendation for a multi-vitamin that can give me more energy and Jerry recommended the GNC womens multi vitamin with energy boost (which by the way has 100mg of caffeine for 2 pills which he forgot to tell me but I found out later so now I only take like 1 each time and supplement with others when I'm feeling tired). Moses hooked me up with a good deal, maybe because they were just opening? Although the two items were not "officially" on sale, he gave me buy-one get-one half-off. Although the young fellow running the place on my recent visit was pleasant, he really didn't seem to have a great deal of information about the product for which I was looking. The store itself is rather small, and not stocked with the same variety of items you might find at a different GNC. On previous visits to this location, I have had at least two different instances where I asked for a product, was told it was out of stock, and then found it on the shelf. Other times, I have called to ensure that an item is in store, only to discover upon my arrival that in fact it was not there... And on one instance, was told they never had actually carried it. Truly, this is only a minor inconvenience, as GNC purchases are generally not a giant portion of how I spend my money. But in an effort to stay healthy, as the years click away on the odometer, I don't think I will bother to go back to the store, and visit a different GNC, like the one in Monrovia. read more

Bought a protein and testosterone booster today. Great customer service in this location. The employees definitely know what they are doing and very knowledgeable since he answered every questions I asked. when I was on the line checking out, there's a guy in front of me tryna return a protein that he used for more than 3 weeks and almost finished all of it. Excellent location close to santa anita mall and arcadia 24 fitness and la fitness for your nutritional supplement needs. The staff is nice and knowledgeable about the products. They never try to force products on you, will inform you about the product and product reviews either from personal experience or from other customers. Recently just bought some supps from this Arcadia GNC location. Been to plenty of other GNCs and other supplement stores but this location by far was the best experience. I have been lifting and taking supplements for the last 15 years. I thought I knew a good amount of this business but spending just 20 min with Peter I walked out with more knowledge of things I never knew about. I left motivated with all this knowledge from Peter to change up my habits on how to take these supplements. Super excited to see new results I know I'm going to get. Needed to return something I bought on GNC.com (the Lean Shake Burn made me jittery all day). Loaded up three tired kids and headed to this GNC because it had parking right up front. Before I even walk into the store a few steps, a guy comes towards me to say, "Oh we don't do that here. We're a franchise. You can go to Santa Anita mall." Very convenient location in a busy plaza. Great for me because if I ever stop by the Santa Anita Mall, this GNC is about a five minute drive and I could easily stock up bars or supplements. Huge selection of Quest Bars as well... but unfortunately they ran out of Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough. AVOID THIS PARTICULAR GNC!!! If I could give this place zero star I would. This place just wants your money. I specifically asked for one thing, and they sold me something that's completely opposite. I also told them there's this specific ingredient that I can not have and they pushed me to buy something that has that ingredient without telling me it has that ingredient in it. I've heard several customers complained about their return policy and refused to refund for no particular reason. WOST. GNC. EVER!!!! Wish there was a way to give negative stars! This review is for a purchase i had made back in july. I went here bc they had a specific protein shake that i enjoy. Sadly the one at the mall was sold out so i came here. They only had a bag left of the GNC brand protein shake that i love. I bought it and felt lucky to have found my flavor. Only to go home and realize the website had my flavor in the giant tub size for less than the price i paid for this small amount. Looking around on the website i realized i had paid over $20 more at the store for the exact same size of the bag that was online! I felt robbed!! Had a great experience at this place! Peter not only provides detailed explanations on products, he also finds the right supplement for different individual needs. For instance, my mom has problems with her eyes and every vitamin shop we've been to, they just kept telling her to get this one supplement that is good for vision but it doesn't rly show much improvements. Peter was different and rly asked for her symptoms and introduced her to other products that help reduce her symptoms if taken together. Although many ppl might argue that he's just trying to boost up the sale buy selling more products, I rly see it differently. He didn't insist us on buying the ones he introduced to us, he was rly just recommending them to us and giving us new knowledge on nutritions that we weren't so familiar with. Even at the end when we said we're only gonna get the old supplement my mom always took bc she felt more safe taking it, Peter didn't show any bad attitude and just helped us check out.
