At first, I thought it might be standard customer service, but it quickly became clear that there was an odd intensity to their attention. It felt invasive and made me highly self-conscious. What was even more troubling were the subtle, yet unmistakable signs of racial bias that I sensed during my time there. I believe that every customer deserves to feel safe and respected, regardless of their background. Regrettably, I felt judged and unwelcome, which is a sentiment I never expected to encounter in a retail environment. It's disheartening to think that there are still places where certain individuals might be treated differently based on their race. As we approached the counter to pay for our items, I reached for a pill container on displayand the make employee moved a small tip jar away as it was near the pill holder product... weird. This experience has left a sour taste in my mouth, and I won't be returning to this location. This location is bigger than most of the other 986 Pharmacies I've been to, and the employee who helped me was very kind and friendly. I called ahead to make sure my doctor had sent over my prescription, and she was nice enough to get everything processed quickly. By the time I arrived, all I had to do was verify my insurance and I was in and out in less than five minutes. The whole process was fast and smooth. I also like that they offer free delivery, which is really convenient for times when I can't make it to the pharmacy. Everything was efficient, and the staff made the experience easy. They even gave me a small goodie bag with things like tissues, popcorn, and cough drops, which was a very thoughtful gesture. The pharmacy is located in a plaza with Aldi and Planet Fitness nearby, so it's a convenient location as well.
