Hired Creative Roofing in Oct-24 to install new roof on my house and set a date to start work and…read moresometime before the job was supposed to start Doug called me and said he needed to reschedule for the following month Nov-24 which I agreed to. About a week before the job was supposed to begin called Doug to confirm he was going to be ready to start the job and he said that he needed to reschedule it again i said no. Once the work began the work crew did a good job and showed up on time every day until the job was completed. Fast forward to April-26. I called and talked to Doug to have him install a bathroom roof vent and he said he would have his dad come to my house in about a week to install the vent. "NEVER HAPPENED" and never heard back from Doug. Fast forward to May-26 while having a contractor remove insulation from my attic they discovered that two of the roof vents that were installed when Creative Roofing installed my new roof in Nov-24 were leaking. So I called Doug about the vents and he sent his dad over to my house and his dad said that he couldn't find where it was leaking but thought it might be the vents. So a day or two later Doug and his dad showed up at my house and put some sealer around the two vents and said if they don't leak that they would replace the two vents. Well the next day it rained and I went up into the attic to see if they were leaking and they were not leaking and I text Doug to let him know that. Tried texting Doug two more times and still no reply. So I gave up on trying to contact Doug and called another roofing contractor to come look at the vents to get a second opinion and what he told me was that the two vents were not installed correctly. Fast foward to June-26 I found out that there weren't enough attic exhaust vents installed when they installed the new roof in Nov-24 and on top of that two of the four exhaust vents that were installed were not centered between the 2 x 4s and part of the two exhaust vents were actually under the 2 x 4 which partially blocked the exhaust vent which affected the amount of air being exhausted out of the attic. So in all I ended up spending an extra $2,400 to repair the leaky vents and add additional exhaust vents. Based on my own experience I would not recommend Creative Roofing.

Chip and Company were the pinnacle of quality work and professionalism from start to finish! During our new roof install the workers were prompt, friendly, efficient and timely. This all happened will our grandchildren were visiting and the crew was wonderfully in tune to that fact and went above and beyond accommodating our needs (think nap time)! Of all the positives we experienced with Chip Cooper Roofing- quite possibly the attention to detail the crew demonstrated stuck with us the most. Are you looking for a good roofing company?…read more Don't look here because they are not. Don't waste your time or your money. Lousy job! Their work is not of quality. Their worker dropped his sharp and dangerous tool from the roof into my sprinkler system and broke the pipes. Water was everywhere and had to get into my main waterline from the street They made a big mess and never cleaned it up. What's even worse is they didn't fix the roof right? I have attempted on six different occasions to reach them by text and telephone call which they don't reply to. Communication is terrible. When it rains water pours down my front door ( I even sent them a video to show what was happening with no reply). I paid the guy cash and he won't return my calls or my text They're basically take your money and run. Who cares what happens and you're on your own after that. Sad part is at higher these guys because they had really good yelp reviews how incorrect that information was ! Don't hire them unless you want to spend more money after the job is done.

However, less than two years after the first repair, the roof began leaking again in the exact area they had previously worked on. I contacted Andrew multiple times by phone and text message, but he never responded. As the leak worsened - becoming more severe than the original issue - I also sent emails and called the business line, yet received no return calls or responses of any kind. After exhausting all attempts to reach B & R Roofing, I hired another roofing company to repair the issue. That company documented B & R Roofing's prior work and confirmed that the repairs were incomplete. Specifically, B & R Roofing only patched a very small section where the leak was visible and did not replace the roof underlayment, despite quoting and accepting payment for that work. After reviewing other customer feedback, it is clear this is a pattern in how B & R Roofing operates. I strongly recommend that potential customers carefully consider their business practices before hiring them. I will also be filing a formal complaint with the Santa Barbara Contractors Board
