I received several quotes and chose GMART because Greg was very knowledgeable, was giving me a quote on higher end materials and gave a great price in comparison to others. Had siding, gutters, windows, soffit and fascia replaced. Went with Prodigy vinyl siding and Advantage 6300 Windows. The two crew members were there early in the morning and worked pretty much through the day except when it rained. Took about 4 days to complete. I was there the whole time. We are very happy with how it turned out. I did have an issue with some caulking afterward and Greg came right out and fixed it himself without complaint the next day. Always good to see a man that stands behind his work after he has been fully paid. I think he keeps his overhead low and therefore can afford to charge a little less. Greg from Gmart had a great guy Chris doing a good job of siding my house. We had 2 issues to address. One was that I had mice problem. Gap in siding where the mice entered the crawlspace. Another was that one of the room which was a garage previously got cold in the winter. Both of my issues were addressed to my satisfaction. They installed a channel at bottom of the siding so that it provides no access for anything to enter the crawlspace. In order to address the cold air entering the room, the bottom siding was removed and additional insulation was added. Hopefully this will fix the issue. This company replaced windows in my whole house, 26 windows of different varieties, including a garden window in the kitchen, a couple of awnings and a casement window, some picture windows and some double hung, I was so pleased with every window they installed ! Very knowledgeable and professional, they did all this in one day, very efficient and clean job, wiping every window clean at the end of the install, they brought in the vacuum cleaner and took care of cleaning my floors at the end as well. I had GMART install vinyl shake siding on my gables. He removed a disgusting decorative shutter and squared off a rounded decorative window frame in the process. He made my house look beautiful! G-Mart was impressive to say the least. Let's start with the estimate which was one my favorite parts of the whole process. I contacted about six different companies for an estimate which only four responded to. G-Mart owner Greg Martyniak came by and met with me to provide an estimate. I had three other estimates; two of which required that my wife be present for the estimate (which was a sneaky sales tactic to get us to buy on the spot). The other three estimates were all gimmicky and sales oriented. With the other estimates I felt like I was being fed a sales pitch that was long and dragged out. Greg's estimate was right to the point and efficient. His estimate took less than 30 minutes while all the other estimates each took over an hour. He walked around the house with me and explained all the things that they would do and problems that he noticed that would be fixed by his team. And this was not some drawn out sales pitch, it was efficient and right to the point which I really enjoyed. Greg didn't use gimmicky sales tactics to push his services on me; he just presented what his team would do, he answered my questions, and then we both went on with our days and he sent an estimate over via email the next day. The price was also very competitive. He was not the cheapest but he was way cheaper than the most expensive estimate I got. One of the things that really caught my eye initially too was not the positive reviews but the lack of negative reviews which was really impressive in my opinion. In reference to the work performed. The crews were very polite and were always working very hard. You could tell they had a great deal of experience in their field. They were very neat and thorough and did everything that they said they were going to do. They found some rotted wood behind the old siding so they showed me the problem and replaced it without charging me extra.
