I've been going here since January 2017. I am extremely picky about where I get my nails done. I look first and foremost for cleanliness and adherence to sanitation and disinfecting. Next skills talent and lastly a pleasurable friendly environment. Glow has it all! I love everyone. Tweety usually does my SNS and pedicures however I've been to pretty much everyone and they all do a wonderful job! If you've never tried SNS you really need to! My husband and I decided we wanted to get pedicures tonight. We called a few places but no one could accommodate us at the time we wanted except Glow! So we made the drive there and they took us in instantly. I enjoyed my pedicure for the most part-- the lady doing my nails did a nice job with my feet and toes but didn't say a word to me or offer me or my husband anything to drink while I saw other customers being offered drinks. The technician doing my husband's feet ended up doing a poor job that we had to get the lady doing my feet to fix his. His toe nails were not cut short and they were all weird different lengths. Thankfully they got fixed to how he wanted them before we left. Part of his skin was ripped off as well causing my husband pain. All in all, it was a decent experience but I think I will stick to my other favorite nail spots. read more

This is a gem of a nail studio in some Random building off Chapel Hill road between Morrisville Parkway and Aviation Parkway. There's a wine bar and Delicious cupcake place there too. With so much competition for nails how does one decide; Look no Further! I went in on a Sunday desperate to get my nails to look normal after the awful experience I had in NY. Jenny was patient, kind and most of all took her time with me and did exactly what I asked! Most places will argue with you and you end up walking out with something you didn't want in the first place. Not here, all the technicians are top notch and will give you the time you deserve. Just had to revisit my old review because I went again yesterday for a mani/pedi. This is the most thorough salon out there. They took their time to make sure I had a great experience and to make sure my nails and toes looked perfect. They didn't charge me for the wine I had, they all made friendly conversation with me, and I left feeling like a new woman! Love this place. Recommend it to everyone! Amazing!!!! Best nail salon I've ever been to, and I have gone to so many different places in the Triangle. So friendly and personable, and did a great job! Writing an update because I had a bad experience with one of workers. Nice guy, but definitely didn't know how to smooth down nails when going from gel to regular nail polish. He left my nails bumpy and uneven. I kept looking at them funny and he asked if they were okay, I asked if he could smooth out the nails and his response to that was another coat of nail polish which didn't help. Honestly, I can't even believe I paid for the manicure. It was also another time that the appointment took forever, I had the appointment for 6pm and didn't leave until after they were closing around 7:40pm. I had to leave the next day for a trip, or I would have gone back to ask them to redo it. read more

I went to Glow because it's brand new which meant it was probably very clean & sanitary. I walked in and was very impressed by the decor and ambience. I made an appointment the night before. I got the stress relief pedicure ($50) and it was very relaxing. They use clean liners per use for the pedicure chairs and all the tools were from new sealed packages so I new they hadn't been previously used. My nail tech paid very close attention to detail and made sure I had what I wanted. After the pedicure, I had to get a nail takeoff for a gel set I got at Brilliant Nail Spa due to FIVE broken nails. I decided to try the SNS nails to restore my natural nails' health. They turned out beautiful and feel very light and healthy! Great service overall and I will be coming back for additional treatments. read more

Sean has the WORST attitude and professionalism ever, he's great with your nails until you complain about something he did wrong. Oh, don't dare critique the almighty Sean. If you do BEWARE! I decided to give this a**hole another chance, I called the day before to schedule an appointment with him for my hands and a pedi with someone else. When I called I spoke directly to the almighty Sean and told him what I wanted. He booked my nail appointment for 12pm, I asked could I come earlier to get my feet done - he said sure no problem. When I get there I'm about 3/4 way done with my pedicure, he comes over and tells me I will have to cut my NATURAL nails because SNS doesn't work with longer nails. Mind you my nails are about an inch past my finger tip. I told him I wanted to keep my NATURAL NAIL length. I told him I wanted ombre with my SNS he then tells me SNS doesn't work with ombré. I began to feel like he didn't want to do my nails, so I asked him if that's what he was feeling. He then says it's whatever, well I won't have time to do your nails because I have a 1 o'clock appointment. But you can come back later and someone else can do your nails....it's whatever you want. WHATEVER I WANT?? How about the appointment I scheduled at 12pm, if time was really the issue he could have told me to come earlier than the 12pm time HE INITIALLY SUGGESTED. Silly me I then ask if someone else can do my nails, all of a sudden they start speaking in their language and no one can do my nails. The almighty coward Sean never came from the back to face me because he's a PUNK!! No real man handles business the way he does, I don't care how much of a bad ass he is with nails, his customer service is HORRIBLE. I've spent thousands of dollars here over the past two years and to have them treat me the way they did was sickening. I was so upset I cut my pedicure short just so I could get out of there, needless to say I will never be back even if this was the last nail shop in NC. read more

Had my first experience at this nail salon over the weekend and it was great! I had a pedicure, which was one of the best pedicures I've had in a long time! I especially love that they offer the paraffin wax as an add on, as it really makes my feet super soft! I just wish the girl who did my pedicure was a little more forceful when massaging and scrubbing my feet as she was a little too gentle. The only other issue was the price. I only got the classic pedicure and still spend $40. I just think they should lower their rates a little and then this would be the perfect spot! read more

The good: Location is very convenient for me, color selection is great, and I never have to wait long, even without an appointment. The bad: I have had THREE of my nails crack across the nail bed after getting a full set here. I had the first one fix, and that was simple enough, but now two additional nails have cracked, and they hurt! In my 20 years of getting my nails done, this has never happened, even when I went too long in between fills. I'm not sure if it's the powder, the actual nails they use or what, but I'm pretty unhappy. There are two many nail salons at comparable price points for me to ever go her again. read more

So I came to this salon after I was let down by my normal nail salon, SoHo. This is my second time here and to say I'm pleased is an understatement. I do the SNS base with gel color and my nails have seriously never felt stronger. The quality is fantastic and the employees are SO friendly! I made an appointment and showed up early out of courtesy and they sat me right away and we started about 5 minutes before my actual appointment time. They are also the only nail salon I've been to that offer threading also, which is huge for me considering I don't do wax at all. I took my mom here this past Sunday so that we could both get pedicures. We're both in agreement that the salon is beautiful and the atmosphere is very relaxing. Free drinks is also a perk. We both got the "Signature Pedicure", which is the basic pedicure for $29, and even though there wasn't a huge amount of frills, still was great. My mom loved her massage and I loved my technician (shout-out to Marcela). They have specials on Monday-Wednesday (think it's 10% off), but overall, think their prices are competitive to other salons, if not more reasonable. read more

Disappointing quality. I wanted a gel manicure and it was explained that they use a different type of gel product which was fine. I first noticed that the tops of a few of my nails were jagged and not filed smoothly. The worst part was after just a few days, my nails started to actually break and rip. I've always have regular gel manicures and have never experienced this. My friend had a set of acrylic nails done and experienced the same thing. After about one week, she had chips plus the nails were not contoured attractively to her hands. I see that the other reviews are good so I cant say what went wrong in our situation but we won't be back. read more

I am disappointed. While Tweety did a decent job, I wasn't all that satisfied as one of my nails in particular was very bumpy and not smooth. I didn't mention anything since they were closing and it was already too late by the time I noticed since she was putting the final touches on. Therefore, I went back to get my nails trimmed down a little shorter and I wanted a few nails (that one in particular) smoothed out as it was bumpy. Tweety was busy and they put me with a guy who wasn't very experienced in my opinion. He could only do the trimming/filing... No smoothing of the bumps on some of my nails. He made my nails uneven and rushed through it. I felt rushed by the guy who was filing my nails and at that point I just left it alone. Nothing or no one smoothed down the bumpy nails. It was then at that moment *orchestra music plays and a single tear falls down my cheek* that I realized that this may no longer be my go-to nail salon. read more

An Absolutely AWFUL experience!! My daughter went to get her nails done from this salon because it was walking distance from our residence. This was a huge mistake, a few of her nails were crooked and lumpy. On some of the nails you could see her nail bed. When I took her back to complain about their workmanship. I requested to either refund the $69 or if they could at least take off the nails so that she could go to another salon to have her nails redone. I honestly didn't think they would refund our money, I just wanted them to take off the nails so we could start from scratch at my Nail Salon. Two of the ladies who worked at this salon started raising their voices at us and were very unprofessional. I tried to be the calming voice until one of the ladies grabbed my hands to look at my nails. That's when I became upset I am not a customer my daughter was and not sure why she needed to look at my nails but when she entered my personal space I told her not to ever put her hands on me. I didn't come inside her establishment yelling. My daughter was an unhappy customer and she had no right putting her hands on me. Needless to say they knew they were unprofessional and should never put hands on anyone so they refunded our money! I am giving 2 stars which isn't a reflection of the salon as a whole but my most recent experience. I've been to this nail salon a handful of times and never had any issues. My most recent experience was not the case. I went last Saturday around 5:15 and was asked to come back at 6 since they were busy. Luckily I live within walking distance so coming back wasn't an issue. I came back at my scheduled time and there was a young guy that changed my toe polish. At first it seamed like he did an okay job on my toes. However, 2 days later one of my toes started chipping. I've never had that happen before, my toe polish usually last 2 weeks or so. Then it came time for my nails. I had SNS on but wanted to switch to a gel polish on my nails so I can try out colors for my wedding in a few months. At first, it seamed like he didn't know how to take off the SNS but with the help of another nail tech he figured it out. He seamed like he was in a rush and did not let the acetone sit on my nails long enough. He ended up basically scrapping it off my nails which was awfully painful. There was also a crusty residue left around my cuticles which finally came off a day later. He then failed to make my nails into an even shape and started applying the gel polish. I noticed that the polish wasn't neat and was all over my nail beds. Sadly I will have to find a new nail salon. read more

I made an appointment for an sns fill in and they completely took off my tips that I already had on, thus charging me for new tips. And when I came in I showed them a picture and asked if they could do that specific design, they said yes that one woman would be able to do the design for me. I go through the whole nail process and at the end my technical tells me that the woman who was supposed to do my design is with another customer and I should just get the clear coat put on. Me not trying to be complicated agreed and went to the counter to pay. Without even telling me the price he puts my card into the chip reader and I asked him how much it would be, in which he replied with $60. My jaw dropped, like I got a nude color in order to get the design I wanted and I left unsatisfied and overcharged. Will NOT be returning and I hope anyone who reads this won't spend a ridiculous amount of Money for something unfinished. read more
