I'm literally kicking myself because for over a year I'd drive all the way out to the University Park location, despite this location being 5 min away, just so I didn't have to change waxers because finding your GO TO waxer can be a true task. Pros: My go to waxed is Robin. She's quick, but does a great job with my Brazilian and Underarms and even talks me through breathing techniques when needed. I've also been to Leah and although she isn't my go to she did a great job also! I am typically greeted by Monica when I arrive and she's always so helpful and pleasant to interact with. Cons: None at this time.

It was more like a national forest park! She tackled it with the skill of a seasoned ranger armed with nothing, but wax and courage. The vibe is amazing! The results? Smooth, sleek, and fabulous. Worth every pluck and pull. I left her table ready for swimsuit season, date night, or an unexpected wind tunnel test. Bottom line: if you want someone who's equal parts professional, hilarious, and a straight-up wax wizard, book with Avery. She doesn't just do Brazilians--she performs miracles. September 2025

I was checked in and seen almost immediately. Sami was my brow artist and we discussed cleaning up my shape and doing my forehead. Let me just say that this was the easiest, most pain-free experience I have ever had in my many years of getting my brows threaded. Normally I am wincing and I just bear it because thats what we do for beauty right?? But Sami did my brows quickly, BEAUTIFULLY, and with literally zero discomfort. I will definitely be coming back and requesting Sami and I highly recommend you do too if you decide you need some threading. Also the price was perfect....about $20 for both eyebrows and forehead!

However, I was pleasantly surprised when the service far exceeded my expectations! Waxorsugarme is located inside the City Salon Suites off of Knoll Trail and Arapaho. There is ample outdoor parking and it's easy to find. The suite Waxorsugarme occupies is toward the back of the building. Before showing up, I booked online where a deposit was required. Now, I'm totally happy to pay this and am respectful of their late policy. These are professionals and it makes complete sense that they have stringent policies for arrival windows. I had seen some people gripe about this, but please put yourself in the shoes of someone running a business like this- it's not fair to expect them move around other appointments to accommodate. The waxing itself was a pleasant experience. Yes- waxing hurts, but in the hands of the right professional, they can really help with alleviating some of that through great conversation. Fabiola was really good at keeping the conversation going and providing lots of knowledge on waxing upkeep best practices. I also want to mention that my first time here was on Halloween, so Fabiola was dressed as Chucky from the Child's Play movies, which was an absolute gas! I knew from the moment I met her, she was going to be awesome! She was so funny and personable, her demeanor put me at ease immediately. The end result was I got the best waxing I ever had. No hair was left behind and a few weeks out, I can say that I didn't have any ingrown hairs or irritation. I also purchased a ph balanced bath wash from Fabiola to ensure no irritation, and it was worth it. Overall, I'm super-pleased with my results fro Waxorsugarme, and look forward to my future appointments. A true gem!!!

After I called I received a text message right after asking ' How May I help you'. So unprofessional in my opinion to send a text message to a potential client. After informing her I was looking on Groupon she told me that she had no availability for my day in question and that I would have to pay 45$ EXTRA to upgrade to sugar wax. That's insane ! That would mean I would end up paying a total of 70$ for a service that she actually promotes on her site for 65$ (picture attached). She did not offer me the 5$ difference off and she was not very nice. I'm new to the state and this city and I'm looking for a permanent place to get my wax done and she definitely lost a potential client due to this.

When I got there 2 weeks after it expired, she was extremely rude right off the bat saying she said yes to extending but thought she'd hear from me sooner to which I apologized and said I got caught up in the holidays. She was outright rude to the point I was uncomfortable staying and even offered to pay her but skip the service. She told me let's go ahead but she has an apt right after and because I was a few min late she wouldn't have a lot of time. My apt was set at 12:30, I arrived at 12:35 and apologized profusely but I had issues finding her and my phone died. This was supposed to be one hour and I fully expected it to be less due to me being late but it was literally 1 when I left meaning my facial was about 20 min; not sure why she even bothered at that point. I was happy to leave because I was uncomfortable anyway. My face was bright red when leaving and she also made a few pokes at my dermatologist and suggested I have a liver disease by my face which didn't make me feel too great. I realize everyone has bad days but this was one of the worst experiences I've ever had with a business EDIT: in response to her response below just so nobody is fooled, the facial gift certificate was 100% a 60 min certificate. I got it for my bday from a friend. That's just a blatant lie and speaks volumes about the ethics of this woman. She is correct that I did offer to pay and leave literally because i was terrified of being alone in the room with her. I also kept my eyes open the whole time.. i did tip her though, I regretted it immediately but unfortunately I have a tendency to be too nice
