His sermons are about real life, your day to day walk with Jesus, and the grace of God. He sprinkles in a lot of humor and he isn't scared to talk about taboo subjects, especially in our Hispanic culture where it is hidden or frowned upon. I always see how busy he is with so many projects but still humble with his congregation. I really love the church. When I first came to this church I was really broken over many bad situations in my life. Slowly I gave my control to God and just as slowly (maybe slower) because God is funny sometimes, but I got a second chance at life. Pastor Dante and all his staff are not pushovers and allow members to stand on their own feet. No one here is spoon fed but they are really interested in your walk with Jesus. There are no harsh words or condemnation coming down on you but things do get revealed to you through the word of God. Personally I appreciate Pastor Danny. He always says hi, he has kind words for me, asks me how I liked the service and truly cares. I see him interact with everyone and it's really nice to be surrounded by caring brothers and sisters here. His wife sings during worship at River and i really believe in her lifelong walk with Jesus, she is a good role model for any woman or christian alike. It is easy to see flaws or find issues with anything in life, Pastor Dante is ridiculed a lot online but if you are looking for a church - anyone is welcome here. Pastor Dante believes that our church is like a hospital for the soul, he says some members are on IVs, others are taking medicine and some are about to get downgraded to another unit.. We congregate here to recognize that Jesus has already healed us and we walk together until we are with him forever.

The pastor is an amazing speaker, but the Bible was never opened and he didn't quote any scripture. He spoke well but I felt very uneasy during the service. I love everyone who lead people closer to God but I dislike and can't agree with the way they run its service. It just wasn't for me. Ps They had a merch store and inside they had figurines of the pastor for sale.... like what???? I knew for sure this wasn't a house of God.

My 9-year-old nephew came all the way from Nebraska and was having the time of his life at an…read moreAngels game. At one point, he joined in with a group of kids who were taking their shirts off and cheering from another section. He couldn't figure out how to get up there, so he joined in from his own seat. A staff member immediately told him to put his shirt back on because the kids in the other section were supposedly "protesting something." My nephew wasn't protesting anything. He wasn't causing a disturbance, using inappropriate language, bothering other fans, or doing anything other than acting like an excited 9-year-old at a baseball game. What really bothered me was the explanation I received afterward. When I questioned why my nephew was singled out while the larger group continued doing the exact same thing, I was told it would be "bad PR" to stop them. So let me get this straight: it would be bad PR to address a larger group, but it's okay to single out a 9-year-old child who was simply having fun? If there was a rule being violated, then it should have been enforced consistently. If there wasn't, then my nephew should have been left alone to enjoy the game like everyone else. Instead, a child was embarrassed in front of the people around him because he was the easiest person to confront. He's 9 years old. He's from Nebraska. He loves baseball. He was excited to be there and wanted to be part of the energy in the stadium. That's it. Angel Stadium should be a place where kids can make memories, not where they're singled out for doing the same thing everyone else is doing.

One very cool thing is all the concessions are cashless and super easy/fast. We hit the pizza place and basically just picked up a cheese pizza ($20.14), tiramisu ($9.54), 2 waters ($6.36 ea) and then headed to the self check out. The items must have an RFID tag in the packaging or some type of product recognition because when we put items on the scale, it recognized what the were. A simple tap to pay and we were on our way.

While the venue is currently under construction, the stadium is still open for events like Stars on Ice 2026. [Parking]: Currently event attendees can park for free in one of two parking garages - the Katella Garage and the Cerritos Garage. While I appreciate the free parking, it took my car 15+ minutes just to enter and park in the Cerritos Garage (via Cerritos Ave) and another 15+ minutes to get into the stadium. The worst part was leaving out of the garage ... my car took almost 90 minutes just to exit the parking garage and get onto the freeway. [Experience]: During intermission, the lines for concessions and restrooms were crazy and it was difficult to move around. I basically gave up exploring the concessions and just walked back to my seat. Our party purchased tickets in Section 400 and the view was alright. The sound quality was also fine and the stadium can get quite cold so bring an extra layer. [Concession]: Some of stands in section 400 levels include pizza (Anaheim Pizza Co. - Section 419), chicken tenders / burgers / fried chicken sandwiches (Slapshot Grill - Section 441), Mexican food (El Patito - Section 404), hot dogs / popcorn / pretzels (Quack Snacks - Sections 421 & 430), ice cream (Sweet Spot Soft Serve - Section 408), etc. [Conclusion]: Under normal circumstances, I would say it was a mediocre 3-star experience; however I have to knock off a star due to the horrible parking situation upon exiting despite the free parking.

The Arena is where dreams are announced... and where wallets go to die…read more If you're coming here for D23 Expo (Disney's once-every-two-years fan mega-event), then welcome to the beating heart of Disney nerdom. The Anaheim Convention Center Arena has seen it all: park announcements, movie reveals, surprise celebrity appearances, and 7,000 people screaming at the unveiling of a new logo. The Anaheim Convention Center opened in 1967 -- the same year Walt Disney's EPCOT film was still fresh in everyone's mind -- as a way to handle big events just across the street from Disneyland. Over the decades it's expanded into the largest convention center on the West Coast. The Arena itself once hosted pro sports and concerts before becoming the go-to stage for mega-panels, keynote presentations, and all things Disney fan service. The Arena is massive and electric during D23 -- the energy feels like Comic-Con with mouse ears. The seating's comfortable enough, the acoustics are solid, and the production value is pure Disney: lights, sound, video screens the size of apartment buildings. You'll laugh, cry, and maybe even mortgage your house for exclusive merch. The food options leave a lot to be desired. Think overpriced convention center staples: pizza slices, soggy nachos, sad sandwiches, and bottled water priced like it's Evian filtered through Tinker Bell's wings. If you don't plan ahead, you'll end up eating a $15 hot dog while dreaming about Trader Sam's. The Arena at Anaheim Convention Center is where Disney makes magic real -- even if the food is criminal. Come prepared, bring snacks, and know that what happens here shapes the future of Disney parks, movies, and fandom. It's history in the making... with nachos you'll regret.

This wasn't just an escape room; it was a deeply immersive, high-stakes horror experience. What sets this game apart is how incredibly engaging it is. They offer a choice between contact and full-contact levels, and if you really want the ultimate experience, you absolutely must opt for the full-contact version. It elevated the intensity and made the game feel so much more visceral and real. A huge part of why this was such a standout experience was our Game Master, Marcus. He was phenomenal--professional, attentive, and he truly knew how to guide the game to maximize both the scares and the fun. If you're planning to visit, I highly recommend requesting Marcus as your GM. We had an unforgettable time. If you love horror and want a truly immersive, well-designed challenge, look no further than Pinocchio at Escapade. We can't wait to come back!

Almost all of Escapade Games' rooms have a horror element and are obviously targeted towards the colleges nearby, but not only was Rockin' adapted to accommodate parties of two; for this season, it was themed to fit the holidays. We also got a very pleasant surprise when it came time to pay for our online reservation: it was half the price of a standard room for a party of 8! This was a (happy) shock because we are used to paying for 3 or 4, even though we are a duo. The 2025 Pineapple Express had slowed to a steady trickle by the time we arrived at Escapade Games Christmas Eve after a music-less British pub lunch less than a two-minute drive away. The cavernous restrooms, located outside the lobby, were clean, and the lobby looked like it was in the midst of some renovation, but another game was going on, and since we already filled out our waivers, we settled down to wait for our game to start. And waited. And waited. And waited. When we finally started our hour-long game, after the technical difficulties were resolved and the game rules reminders given, all was forgiven very fast: as a bonus to playing a game that was getting ready to be put out of commission, we could take unlimited photos in the room! And there was so much to do in the music-themed room: even though not all the instruments were playable, and there were still minor glitches as we were playing, Joey was a terrific game host - he, too, made a quick recovery from the technical issues and was as determined as we were to have a phenomenal game. There was no timer in the room, but going by our photos, we were done in 52:48, with a lot of help. Our favourite puzzles had to do with the picks and bands, and playing the instruments to rise back up to the top of the pops as rockstars is such an original theme. The music played put us in the holiday mood - especially "The 12 Days of Christmas". That's probably not our favourite Christmas song, but it helped that I just got done with Susan Stokes-Chapman's holiday short story collection! Rockin' around the Christmas Tree is set to what we consider 3-G (Generation 3, with a lot of computer FX elements) tasks with G-1 locks, and, despite the late start, was very much the best Christmas present to set us off on our holidays! Joey, our heroic gamemaster, was a huge part of the fun game we had. We could tell he had started off not having such a good Christmas because the room's serious technical issues were clearly unexpected, but he fixed everything so that we could have a great time. We eventually realized the fantastic price we paid was not just because our game, unlike other Escapade rooms, did not feature a live actor in the room. Even more importantly, we only found out, after our game, that the room was being taken down to make way for a three-room movie-based horror adventure. We are so, so glad that we got to experience Rockin' around the Christmas Tree before it was dismantled, and keep our fingers crossed it gets a spectacular comeback in the near future (like the rockstars we were supposed to be!) That said, we are looking forward to checking out anything else Escapade Games has to offer - can't wait for more games in 2026! This review is duplicated on Yelp and Google.
