Stopped in real quick on a road trip through LA since I love the brand and wanted to see what they had in store. The associate Anthony was uber helpful and accommodating to us and helped me pick out my blush and brush bundle --such a sweetie! We really appreciated his help and I love how this store aesthetically represents the brand

This place is an actually very surreal in the sense of traditional makeup stores because it's very lush. The staff are very nice, and none of the testers are smushed or anything. Overall nice place

Glossier Melrose is a whole vibe! From the moment I walked in, I felt like I stepped into skincare heaven everything is so aesthetic, clean, and just fun. But the real star of the visit? Steph! She was incredibly kind, super knowledgeable, and made the experience so easy and enjoyable. She helped me pick out the perfect products for my skin type, gave me honest tips, and made me feel like a total queen. If you're in LA and love skincare or makeup, you HAVE to stop by this location. And if you're lucky enough to be helped by Steph, you're in very good hands!

Looove the store. They have multiple stations with skin, body, lip and makeup testers. Their merch is also displayed. Team members are floating throughout the stores with iPads to help you place your order while you wait in the waiting area. You'd order is ready within minutes. They pencils and paper at the entrance is the menu where you can choose your items and then hand it to a team member.

This was such a great experience. I came here on a work trip with my girls and Petra was exceptional. She color matched all three of us & was on point. Petra was super sweet very knowledgeable. I appreciated her honest opinions on products and gave us the best advice we will be back to see her.

As an elder Gen Z, this Glossier store is what dreams are made of. I have owned Glossier products since I first started wearing makeup in high school. Still love my Balm Dot Calms at my ripe age of 23. Anyways, I was on Melrose to check out the Rhode pop up around the corner. However, it looked like the line of a Sears with mid tier Black Friday discounts on Thanksgiving Eve. So I went to the glossier store which was awesome. It was huge and so well designed. I wish I caught the name of my sales associate, but they were awesome and I was the one who purchased 3 lip balms and a liquid blush. I loved it, and I got to try the claw machine and won a gold monochrome eye shadow palette. It's awesome because I actually don't own any gold eye shadow. Then I went to glossier alley and visited the Alfred's and got a speciality drink. This was such a cool concept and I loved my drink and I'm not normally an Alfred fan! Anyways this was a great experience and I can't wait to come back.

Warning: this review is probably biased because I adore Glossier! The entire store is clean and spacious. It is so much bigger than the old store, pre-Covid. Staff is friendly but I do think they need more people on the floor helping all the clients. It's a virtual checkout system, similar to Apple. You place your order with a staff member who enters it on an iPad and it's prepared and brought to you. Which just gives you more time to look around and second guess whether or not you bought enough lip balm! And the setting is brilliant because there's a "Glossier" alley right beside the store where you can sip on a latte afterwards, while you lament all the money you just spent on makeup. LOL

Fun stop to grab your makeup and skincare and do a little photo op! Loved the aesthetics and how easy to test the products you've been wanting try. If you're in the area come thru! There's a handful of things to do in the area around.

It was a great experience! I loved how you were able to sample literally everything. Very clean and well organized space. The workers are very nice, helpful and patient.

Went right when they opened and had no problem finding parking around the corner. Street parking only. I went right after Christmas so it wasn't busy but it did start picking up when I left (around 30-45 mins after they opened). The staff were all friendly! I've been to the Glossier store in Miami, their pop-up in SF, and their old LA location. It would be helpful if all their employees wore the pink jumpsuit but only some were wearing it. Others had on the Glossier sweaters, others normal clothes. Not hard to locate them since they all were carrying iPads but the image of Glossier isn't up to par with the other locations I've visited. Nonetheless the inside is gorgeous. Lots of photo ops. You can try and test everything. All their products are laid out for you to sample and play with. They give you a paper and pencil upon entering and you just write down what you want and you find a worker to checkout via iPad and pay digitally. I think they accept cash at the registers. They also have restrooms available which is convenient. A fun experience, Glossier never fails.

I'm so glad Glossier came back! The new space is huge and well designed, very impressive. I came in on a Friday morning to pick up a few products for myself as well as for a friend's birthday. Fortunately it was not packed and the service was great. The young lady assisting me was really helpful and nice with her suggestions because I was having trouble picking out a few gifts. I love Glossier's products- they're lightweight, natural looking and don't break my wallet! Check this place out if you're in need of some new make up or skincare. Beware though as parking is a nightmare right now especially with all the construction being done around Melrose.

a super fun and aesthetic beauty store with so many great products!!! we visited the glossier store and it was so spacious inside. the parking situation is alright, but pretty limited. while walking in the store we were greeted by the workers and were informed on how to order any products we wanted. i got one of their lip balms and it came out so quickly, the service was great and the workers were all sweet and helpful. there's tons of great photo ops around the store. definitely worth checking out if you're into beauty products!

Don't park in the neighborhoods that require permits because they won't hesitate to ticket your ass. There might be a structure nearby you'll have to pay for parking in. Long wait to get in the store on the weekend. The employees were nice enough to hand out free boxed water though. Once in the lobby, the employee in there let people who came in after me go ahead of me. Wack. I got up and let myself in. The selection is what you'll find on the website aside from the limited edition Glossier phone mirror keychain. I had to stop by for a last minute gift for a friend. Gen G in Cake is the way to go. Expect a wait to receive your order that you place with any of the Glossier associates walking around with a tablet. Worth coming here if you want the keychain and photo ops.

I went on Saturday and waited over an hour. What's special is that you can sign up for the event and get 20% off all products, which is rare for the Korean cosmetics line because they usually don't go on sale. For this special event, they have a limited edition line of tinted sunscreens that come in various shades, so you can color-match your skin with the various samples. It was hard for me to find the right one initially, but I went with the Daily Tinted Fluid Sunscreen MP200, which has a pink undertone. You'll notice the second letter of the item will have a 'P' or 'N'; 'P' stands for pink, and 'N' stands for Neutral. The pink undertone works better for me. So once you get in the store, you'll be given a program/booklet. You'll want to write your name and the last four digits of your phone number, and in the program, it'll have the products, and you can list the quantity of each product you want. You give your booklet to the team members, and they'll call you when they're ready. The event has a rice bar with rice treats and a photo booth. The space is small, but you can chat with the representatives to learn more about the various products. Their most popular product is the TikTok viral sunscreen, but due to FDA regulations, the Korean version can't be sold in the States. So Beauty of Joseon had to pivot and create a new sunscreen, so check it. It was pretty good, but overall, it was a cool event!

They also had a fun Photo Booth where you got a picture and free skincare samples after! We bought two serums there and got 20% off on top by attending the pop up. Great event for learning new products and sampling in order to be better educated to buy!

Come on now let's be real ! Every time a business owner tells you "the system" won't allow me to do this or that, it is a terrible excuse and it is more called unwillingness and they just want to take your money. Now not only was I surprised at the reply but also at the way she was talking very rudely. I am pretty good at keeping my cool but this lady made it hard that day specially after looking for their new location which is the reason I was late because I first went to their previous location and wasn't aware of the change and then being told "well it was on the website, you should have looked". Now back to the product/service itself it has always worked for my skin so well, it is quick 30 min and after 4/5 days of peeling your skin looks great and if you keep it consistent for 3 months the results are even better. It is one of the reason Why i kept coming back and also because of Monica and Aimee who were really good but who unfortunately they both no longer work there. Something is telling me that if the owner doesn't treat their clients right, she must not treat their employees great as well. When he had a moment, I was asked if I was looking for anything in particular, and then had full reign of the VB eye liners. I played to my hearts content while staying out of the way of other customers. Due to the small space, they have a highly coveted line of products; some of course you will find at Sephora, Neiman's, etc. but others are specific to here, this VB line being one of them. Her Satin Kajal Liners are some of the best I have ever used, and I appreciate the smudger on the other end for convenience. This formula did not leave me with raccoon eyes, and I hope this holds up for their other shades and finishes (matte, shimmer and jewel). A complimentary sharpener is normally included which was forgotten understandably due to how busy the shop became, but one was held for me to pick up the following day. I liked the fact I was greeted, then left alone until I needed assistance; I didn't feel as though I was intruding and there was zero pressure to purchase. As…read moresomeone who values supporting Black professionals and uplifting other Black men in this industry, leaving a negative review was not something I wanted to rush into. However, my experience at the salon inside Ulta left me feeling embarrassed and disrespected, and I believe it's important to share honest feedback. I came in asking for simple straight-back braids. I was technically a walk-in, but I called ahead first to make sure it would be okay before coming. On the phone, the stylist sounded welcoming and said he could squeeze me in between clients. I didn't mind waiting at all--I was just excited to get my hair braided. Unfortunately, the tone completely changed once I arrived. Instead of a professional consultation, the stylist immediately began criticizing my hair, saying it was "dry" and complaining that it was short. For context, I had just blown my hair out and intentionally did not add product because that's commonly recommended when preparing hair for braids. Additionally, my hair has been braided successfully about 4-5 times before, so I know that my length is more than sufficient for straight-back braids. Rather than offering helpful guidance, the comments felt dismissive and unnecessarily negative. The overall tone made me feel uncomfortable almost immediately. After starting the service, the stylist completed one braid. When he tied it off, he said "no hang time" out loud. This comment was made in front of other clients in the salon, and it felt embarrassing and unprofessional. Being singled out like that in a public salon environment made the situation even more uncomfortable. The braid itself also appeared rushed and below the standard I expected. Earlier in the appointment I had asked if stitch braids were an option, and I was told they couldn't be done because the salon didn't have "the device" to do them. That explanation didn't make sense, since stitch braids are typically done with technique and a rat-tail comb rather than a special device. After the first braid was finished, the stylist asked if I wanted to continue. Based on the comments and the overall energy of the interaction, I decided not to move forward with the service. When the braid was taken down it felt rushed and aggressive, which only added to the discomfort. I was also asked if I wanted my hair washed afterward, but I declined because at that point I just wanted to leave. This review isn't meant to tear anyone down. However, professionalism, respect, and client care are essential in the service industry--especially in a salon environment where people should feel comfortable and confident. I walked in excited for a simple service and left feeling embarrassed and disappointed. My hope is simply that this feedback encourages better professionalism and communication so that future clients have a much better experience.
