Chicken bacon ranch
Kaeli E.

Some of the best pizza I've had, especially if we're talking chicken bacon ranch. My friends and I have been trying different flavors as well. So far I'd say the works 7.5/10, taco 8/10 very fresh ingredients, chicken bacon ranch 10/10. This place is very consistent and even better right out of the oven or in the air fryer.

18" NY style, half Margherita, half the Works

The inside is nicer and cozier than I expected for this little pizza place, which was a pleasant surprise. Service was good even if it took a while for the pizza to come out. I loved the Margherita pizza, and the NY crust as well. I would say the 18" NY pizza could feed three adults at most, or two who are very hungry, because the pizza is fairly thin. This isn't the cheapest pizza place in town, but I definitely enjoyed it enough to come back.

Drink. I forgot to take a picture of the food.

We ordered a small "The Works" pizza, Philly cheesesteak sandwich, wings and a house salad. Really enjoyed the pizza!! Sauce, toppings and dough all were on point!! "Wing" / chicken bites were nothing to brag about. Cheesesteak was okay and nothing to brag about The house salad was huge and a great value!! I really like their ranch dressing for salad and pizza. I rate Glory Days Pizza more hit than miss!!

New York Style(Biggest Pan Size)

Great Pizza!!! Highly recommend!!! Hands down really great service, atmosphere is great, and it's 40's-50's themed inside with music from that era... but the Pizza is great and the New York style on its biggest pan, was super delicious, and the garlic sticks, and chicken wings were tasty....

College towns are always affiliated with having a slew of pizza options at their disposal. More times than not, this doesn't correlate to "good pizza". Yea, when I was 18-21 years old, pizza from a frozen box was the best thing since sliced bread. But, with age comes wisdom and a change of the taste buds. Lawrence like any other college town provides low quality pizza not much different from the frozen boxed pizza I mentioned. Don't misunderstand me, the business owners of these pizza joints are quite intelligent. If you can provide a sub-standard pizza at a low cost for students and still have killer profit margins, go for it. This is America Jack and I'm all about making a buck like the next guy. But..............some of us hanker a decent slice of pizza outside the big city where most of the good quality pizza is located. This is where places like Glory days Pizza steps in. From what I can gather, Glory Days Pizza is no national chain is locally owned and operated originally from Topeka Kansas. I eaten at their Topeka and Lawrence location many times. Consistency is the term here. They consistently provide a fresh tasting pizza that is quite delicious MOST of the time. True, they have their off days. But again, more times than not they cook a mean pizza. Many have compared one of their crust options to Pizza Huts pan pizza. Yes, this is true. But, Glory Days is usually not as greasy as Pizza Hut. Both places normally have a buttery crispy crust along with other varieties of crust. I actually enjoy their thin crust sometimes but always revert back to their thicker crust. The New York style crust is ok. But, it doesn't reheat very well and I try to stay away from that. Their toppings always taste freshly cut and not frozen. Not sure if all their ingredients are fresh or some are frozen. Glory Days has really good pizza sauce. Not too acidic. There are a ton of pizza options at Glory Days. It all depends on your favorite toppings, etc. The other menu options aren't bad. Really like their meatball and Philly cheese steak sandwiches. The chicken wings were surprisingly good as well. Salads are run of the mill variety. Never had their dessert pizzas or cheese sticks. Some have mentioned their prices are a little high. True in a sense. But, you are getting a much better pizza than your $5.99 variety that permeates Lawrence now. Trust me, spend the extra cash and judge for yourself. Look at their website. Usually advertise two pizza specials. Another good option is stop in on M-F during lunch and get their slice specials. Super low prices on slices. Dining in is my favorite thing to do at Glory Days. No frills pizza joint with self serve soda machines. Pizza is always crispy and fresh coming straight out the oven during dine-in. Both locations have good friendly people. Rock solid local pizza business that deserves major props on Yelp. Bravo Glory Days.

Great pizza, good service, fair pricing. Good place on the west side of town. Not much to call home about on the inside, but good product.

The restaurant is easy accessible but parking can be a challenge. The restaurant is located downtown where parking is a premium. There is a parking garage located a few blocks away. The service was exceptional. We had a glitch with our beverage orders that was quickly and professionally handled by staff. They were professional and attentive. There are many good things on the menu and much from high to choose. All the pizzas are gourmet and simply divine. The prices were right in line with what you would expect from gourmet pizza. I think my order was around $35 but that included beverage and salad and pizza. The only negative have about this place is the sign at the hostess station. It says "No ICE". Honestly I don't care one way or another about their politics. I do think that entertainment and restaurants are places where people go to escape from politics. I was slightly taken aback by their sign and I almost suggested another restaurant. Glad I stayed, though.

A lot of places have a white sauce and then it's just Alfredo, and tastes like pasta not pizza.. but this Spin white sauce actually has its own flavor and it was phenomenal! So this felt like a really nice inclusive option that made me feel excited to get pizza here now! Definitely one of those spots where I will come back just to order the same thing again? I ordered a New York style Meat Lovers pizza and my granddaughter ordered a cheese pizza New York style. We ordered to go, but didn't have to wait long for the pizzas to be ready. The young guy who took our order was very patient and nice. The restaurant had a few customers. We were there about 3:45 PM on a weekday. One complaint I have is that the pizzas are too expensive. You pay $20 EACH for a pizza a little larger than a personal sized pizza. The second complaint I have has to do with standard operating procedures, employee training and hygiene practices. Wow my granddaughter and Grandson and I were waiting for our pizza. A young girl (employee I guess, she was not wearing a uniform) came in rushing as if she was late. Wearing street clothes (shorts and sweat shirt). She immediately began a conversation with a noted employee wearing a uniform who was wrapping flatware and started helping her with her bare unwashed hands while touching the tops of the forks that goes into the customers mouth. This is not only DISGUSTING, but it breaks EVERY Food Safety Policy! If I went from that experience alone, you would get a one star because this will keep me away.

I recently took my teenage son for lunch, and honestly, it was like stepping back into the 90's in the best way- the same friendly, laid-back service, the best quality product and amazing prices, and a clean dining area. My son ordered a large Pocket Za, which he finished. It took about 10 minutes, but he was so pleased! It came right out of the oven to our table. I ordered the daily special- pizza slice (I got veggie), side salad with balsamic vinaigrette, and a drink. It came out almost immediately. Now, if you haven't been before, their crust runs in the bread-y type, less chewy but more bread-like, and homemade sauces- the red wine marinara is homemade and so, so good. A feature of theirs is the quantity and variety of toppings, and wow- so many choices. My son was very pleased with the quantity of toppings, and asked to come back soon. Well done, Rudy's! We'll be back.

I've been having Rudy's Pizza since they were located in the Crossing more than 30 years ago, and I've been hooked on their sauce ever since. Whether you're just stopping in for a slice or you want a pie to go, Rudy's has lots of choices and plenty of great deals. Pro tip: some of the slices that may have been there a little longer than others go down to the dollar/value slice rack, or the lowest rack in the rotating warmer. Same great pizza for a friendly price! Rudy's has menu specials, calzones, or make your own pizza with a range of toppings and crusts. I'm a sucker for their whole wheat crust, but that might not suit those a gluten-free palate. The sauce is my thing, not too sweet and not too tangy and it melds just right with their cheese blend. Pizzas come out hot and ready and prices are right on par with other spots in LFK. If you're dining in, then know that seating can be a touch limited but your pie will come out and sit on a rack ready for serving. Plus you can listen to the soothing trickle of the goldfish pond while you wait.its a chill atmosphere in a unique sub-street space. It is Lawrence, so be mindful of your parking or you'll find yourself adding to the city coffers. Rudy's does deliver, so you can still get that great pizza brought right to you if you aren't fetching it. It's a great local business with a taste you don't get elsewhere, and it's absolutely worth my five stars.

I was greeted warmly by several team members as they were beginning to close for the evening. These guys were very hospitable and supportive. While they are primarily a Pizza shop, they also offer numerous sandwiches, salads and similar fair. As we had Pizza the night before, my wife and I were interested in other items - to which we were pleasantly impressed with the two "California Chicken " sandwiches which consisted of a "Grilled chicken breast, Swiss & avocado, lettuce, tomato". I also believe the sandwich also included just the right amount of a "seasoned" type of mayonnaise or similar spread, all contained on a hearty bun. I asked for Tots - my wife requests regular fries. It is impossible to express the true delight of these sandwiches ! What is so remarkable about an otherwise basic Chicken sandwich? ? Let's see: By far the "star" of the show was the generous chicken breast that was PERFECTLY char broiled. I don't know how they pulled this off, as I am an avid outdoor griller- I would be hard pressed to replicate the perfection of how it was grilled, including how moist - almost juicy the chicken was, including just the right amount of char around some edges. This alone was simply incredible. The sandwich was nicely balanced with a few slices of tomato, shredded lettuce and a light touch of their "secret sauce", a nice slice of Swiss cheese and a generous slice of avocado, all within a near perfect hearty bun. Both our fries and tots were equally impressive. Our sandwiches and fried / tots far exceeded our expectations, especially for what would otherwise be just a simple sandwich and fries.
