My 2003 Dodge Dakota was starting to show signs of wear with the clear coat peeling away from the hood. I also had some dents on the tailgate and rails as well. With this being said, I decided to have my hood repainted and body work prepped for a new sprayed in bed-liner. I called around to a few shops and it seemed that they weren't interested in doing this type of work, since it wasn't an insurance claim. I was shocked to learn this and kept looking. I was very happy I found Kaled NW. Benjamin and his crew answered all of my questions and didn't hesitate to provide me with an estimate for my needs. Once the work was completed, I was blown away from what my truck looked like then, compared to now. It's a new truck! The attention to detail and customer service is outstanding. I'm certain once you speak with Benjamin and provide the details needed for your vehicle, you'll have the same experience I had. Give them a call and schedule an appointment. You'll be glad you did.

I received an acceptable quote and scheduled to bring it in. It was inspected by the owner and said there was more work than anticipated and will cost more than what was quoted. Understand that I didn't disagree with the owner, he explained very well what needed to be done, how much work was involved and was very fair in the cost. But this was just a work truck and the damage didn't interfere with the operation and didn't look too bad. I just didn't see investing much in an older truck. Bottom line is, don't rely on an online quote but I would still consider Kaled. They appear to be a very reputable company.

I asked a few questions and their rep Greg told me the seat could be installed for $850 which seemed reasonable. Once I got to the point I was ready to schedule the install, they reneged on this price and blamed me for not understanding their process and believing what Greg said, not what was listed on their bid sheet. Generally zero accountability for misleading and misrepresenting the costs even when I gave them the opportunity to explain. They also gave a couple dates as options and decided to book over those dates without confirming with me first. Ultimately their shady practices and lack of accountability make me feel fortunate that I'm not working with them for the install.

A short time later, I returned and met with the technician, who had already started evaluating the problem. He was extremely knowledgeable about RVs, clearly explained his plan of attack, and it aligned exactly with what I believed needed to be done. He estimated the repair would be completed by lunchtime. When I checked back at lunch, the work was finished and done to my complete satisfaction. I also noticed the care they took to protect the interior--floor mats were in place and the seat was covered with plastic to keep everything clean. The price was very reasonable, and the entire experience was professional and efficient. I highly recommend them for any RV service needs if you're in the Portland area.

This was one of the most frustrating experiences I've ever had with a repair shop. I was already…read morestressed about the cost of the repair, but the way I was treated throughout the process made it even worse. I brought my car in on 4/20 for a transmission repair after being told the job would take about one week. At the time, there were no warning lights on the dashboard and no known issues other than the transmission. I also paid more than half of the quoted cost upfront. After a week passed, I had to reach out myself for an update. It took about a week and a half to get a response, and I was told the repair would be delayed due to an illness. I completely understood and was willing to be patient because things happen. On 5/1, I contacted them again to see if my car was ready for pickup and received no response until 5/8. By this point, I had already been given four different completion dates, all of which came and went. I simply asked for an accurate timeline because I was becoming frustrated with the lack of communication. Instead of receiving an update, I got an email from the owner's wife that I found extremely rude and unprofessional. I was told they could no longer do the repair and was accused of rushing them, which was completely untrue considering how long I had already waited beyond the original timeline. As a result, I had to pay to have my vehicle towed to their shop and then pay again to have it towed elsewhere so another shop could complete the repair. Throughout this experience, I was hung up on, repeatedly misled about completion dates, and left without clear communication. To make matters worse, when I finally got my car back on 5/15, multiple warning lights were illuminated on the dashboard that had not been there before. When I called to ask about it, I was told they hadn't touched anything that could have caused it. However, I had photos taken before the vehicle was towed to their shop showing that there were no dashboard warning lights at that time. Overall, this experience was disappointing, stressful, and costly. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this shop
