This is the third cleaner I've hired to clean my house. I usually only hire for deep-cleaning jobs. I contacted Gloria, and she was able to accommodate my very last-minute request. They came on a Saturday. She brought her dad, her sister I believe, and someone who looked like her teenage grandson to help her with the job. I asked them to clean 3 bedrooms, upstairs kitchen, downstairs kitchen, and 2 bathrooms. She and her sister worked hand-in-hand. They worked on the bathroom, then the bedrooms, then the kitchen. Her dad and her grandson helped with vacuuming and mopping. I thought her grandson was unprofessional at times, using his cell phone and repeatedly asking Gloria if he could get a ride or Uber to somewhere he wanted to go. I later found after they left that he had plugged in my phone charger in my bedroom so that he could charge his phone, obviously without asking me. Other cleaners I've hired usually bring their own cleaning materials, but Gloria kept asking me for stuff, like a broom, and they used my disinfectant wipes when they saw it. I liked how they did the bathroom, but I have a concern with housecleaners going from dirty to clean (e.g., bathroom to bedroom to kitchen!) when they clean the house. Also, I should have told them to take their shoes off since we don't like shoes in the house. I specifically requested a deep-cleaning. After they left, I felt like the house was left partly clean and partly dirty. I did not feel good about the job. It felt somewhat rushed. Granted, I was 12 min. late to my own house for the cleaning appointment because I lost track of time while running errands. I did apologize but that shouldn't affect the quality of the cleaning, especially if you have 4 people coming over. I felt like I could've done a better job. Gloria has been cleaning our house for last 6yrs and it has been amazing working with her. She has a very reliable team and she usually schedules the same set of people which makes it easier to work with her. Even though we don't speak Spanish, it has been easy enough to explain things to her team and they are all good at their jobs. I just had my apartment cleaned by Gloria and her assistants this morning, and I'm overjoyed with the amazing job they did! Considering we have guests staying with me later tonight, I'm definitely at ease that their services helped me prepare for this on such a tight schedule! I contacted her on August 5th to ask if her team could come on August 7th around 9:30AM. She said she could do it, and her team could even come earlier if I preferred, to which I was even more excited for. The earlier the better, in my opinion! I specified that my primary things to focus on were vacuuming the living room+bedroom, deep clean the bathroom, and do a light scrub of the kitchen counters. I also informed her that I have a husky and he would be crated during their cleaning session, in case of pet allergies/assistants who could be uncomfortable around big dogs. Gloria is also a fellow husky owner, and said everything would be fine! One of her assistants showed up first, and Gloria said she'd be arriving soon with another assistant to help out as well. Gloria assessed the situation while her assistants started working, and since my husky shed a lot more fur than she expected, she increased the price estimate. Totally fine with that, since her assistant was already working on removing our vacuum's clogged up brush with fur+hair. Even with the increase, her team made it so worth it! For those wondering about payment options, she has Venmo, and that's what I used to pay her. So convenient! In a total of two hours, they managed to vacuum every conceivable place my husky's fur tumbleweeds could hide, deep clean the bathroom, sanitize+dust all my furniture, sweep+mop my hardwood floors, clean the windows, and even scrub off most of the hard to remove stains on my electric stove! Even with my husky's dramatic crying to be let out of his crate, they gave him some love to show everything's okay while cleaning. :) Before they considered their job done, they had me inspect everything, and showed me particularly difficult-to-reach places they were able to clean. Their teamwork and communication were super on point. Gloria's team goes above and beyond house cleaning services, and my 768 sq. ft. apartment feels like brand new. I'm so thankful for Gloria and her team's help. I will definitely use her services again in the future! read more

Gloria has been cleaning our house every month, for about five years. She does an outstanding job. She always brings a second cleaner, and they clean our one bedroom loft for about 2.5 hours. They even move the furniture to clean underneath, including our heavy sectional couch. They're very very thorough. I just feel scammed for having paid $700 for cleaning a 3bed 2 bath apartment and still not getting a clean house after two weeks of back and forth. They did a quick once over. They washed my sliding door and one window but not even them well They didn't even clean the glass on my China cabinet. They used up all my paper towels. Only Gloria was nice enough to come out and see us and give us a quote in person. She was very professional and a nice person. She gave me a low bid and we agreed to hire her company. She and two of her associates came back on Saturday and worked two hours on our house. There is that old saying: "slow and steady wins the race." They worked slowly and carefully. At Gloria's first visit, she and her two helpers cleaned our home in 1.5-2 hours. She then charged 20% more than she had quoted me because she said our home was dirty (dust under the bed is what she remarked about). The next time the cleaning was scheduled, one woman arrived, without Gloria. I assumed the person who was cleaning knew where everything was, but about 10 minutes after she arrived I found her cleaning the kitchen counters with paper towels and tap water. I communicated as best I could and showed her where the cleaning supplies, vacuum, etc were. My house is usually cleaned in 4-5 hours. But it seems that Gloria's workers are scheduled for two hours at any given home. We were supposed to have two cleaners, and at 2 hours, that makes sense. But Gloria says one called out sick. The cleaner who was here left after two hours - not having done any but the most superficial job in general, and minimal cleaning of some rooms. Makes sense - no one has cleaned this house in two hours. I spoke with Gloria and complained that $60/hr for the house to be cleaned is unreasonable. She said she charges by the job, not by the hour. But the job was not completed . Some rooms hadn't been cleaned at all. Gloria insists the job was completed although I sent her photos showing the rooms that weren't cleaned. I would have much preferred for Gloria to reschedule when her second person called out sick so that there was the appropriate amount of time and help to do the job well. My house always looks like a hotel when they leave. But there's a lot more to it. I met her when I had a lot of bad stuff going on, and my house was pretty much a mess. She and her team worked very, very hard to get my house into nice order. And then...I got cancer. During my chemo and surgery, Gloria especially has been so kind and concerned, and offered me her prayers (which I gladly accepted). Buyer Beware. She said it would be same cleaners each time. Not so. New cleaners every time, each time progressively worse. The last crew were totally incompetent. No common sense. They damaged my bathroom and my floors and used rolls of my paper towels to clean my home instead of using their own cloths and cleaning supplies. Thought I wouldn't notice the damage and did not say anything after the damage was done. I had to call her. Gloria said she thought the damage was already there, which is a lie as she's inspected my home many times and knows her cleaners caused it. She never offered any help on how to repair the damage, never called again. Only texted to see if I fixed the damage her incompetent cleaners caused. read more

WARNING! DO NOT USE THIS CLEANER. I reached out to Gloria and asked for a quote for my 500 sf studio. She quoted me $100. The day of the cleaning she told me two of her cleaners would show up and then she would come two hours later. I told her I was leaving for a trip and needed her to be there at the start of the cleaning so we could discuss the job. She then showed up and asked for more money -- we settled on $140. She promised a high quality job so I acquiesced and paid her that amount. We agreed that the cleaners would vacuum up my dog's hair, clean the windows, bathroom, kitchen, etc. I got home and there was still dog hair everywhere, dog food on the ground (despite my dog not being there), the windows not cleaned, hair still throughout the shower, the bathroom mirror still dirty, the kitchen counters still dirty, and things put back nowhere near in the same place as the cleaners found them. When I raised these issues with Gloria she became nothing but defensive and when I asked for a refund she insisted I just needed money. I highly recommend that NO ONE use this service.
