I wrote a previous review 2 years ago about the complications of signing up for a trip. Eventually, that was worked out but unfortunately the pandemic hit. My original reservation was made in October 2019 to travel in October 2020. I pretty much knew that wasn't happening and rescheduled until October 2021. Unfortunately the country that I was traveling to still does not allow outside citizens. I called two days ago to reschedule until October 2022. My phone records show I was on this call 1 hour and 9 minutes. Multiple "can I place you on a brief hold". I was sent a new invoice for over $4000 more than my initial quote. I expected some inflation but that's overboard for inflation. Their website is very deceitful stating the shown price "including intra-vacation air and taxes". I fell for this the first time and asked for clarification. The initial quote from October 2019 even has "Air inclusive px vacation" on the quote. The quote has a line for travel from my home location to the destination with TBD. I was fully aware there would be additional expenses added for that. But when the website has the price quoted "including intra-vacation flights" and my quote states "air inclusive" additional intra flight add ons was unexpected. Spent another hour and 43 minutes on the phone with them to no resolution. Since the initial quote was from 2019 I am told there is no option for a refund. All I am being offered is a letter of credit for a $849 deposit. With so much deceitful transactions with the quote I really don't want to continue traveling with this company. read more

Excursions not covered in trip insurance: We had to cancel our trip at the last minute. We paid for TripMate insurance. We were refunded everything but the money spent on the Excursions. Since we canceled our trip less than 4 days before the departure, excursions were not covered. From here on out, we'll just book the Excursions when we get there. read more

Yes I always buy travel insurance and did almost a year before Covid when I booked my trip to Spain and Portugal posted on TravelZoo. Unfortunately not only did their travel insurance Tripmate not honor the insurance when I couldn't travel due to an asthma exacerbation and a note from my MD but did not cover when Covid hit. Now Globus is attempting to give a certificate but for same trip at a much more inflated price. Multiple calls and emails and keep blowing me off. Also contacted CEO and he is silent. Sadly this was a poor choice and now with COVID and how slimy they are I would feel very unsafe traveling with them. There are many reputable companies but have learned the hard way Globus IS NOT ETHICAL or CuSTOMER FRIENDLY and it starts FROM TOP DOWN! read more

I don't understand all the reviews I am reading where Globus wouldn't return your money and/or held on to it for months or tell you that you can only put it towards another future trip, blah blah blah. I had 4 trips planned with Globus--2 trips in 2020 and 2 for 2021. When they notified me both of my trips were cancelled for 2020, I called, spoke to a Globus agent, requested all of my money to be refunded and ALL of the money was refunded to my credit card within a month. I was also just recently notified one of my trips for 2021 is also cancelled so I called again, same thing. They returned all of my deposit and sent me an email each time for all the cancellations confirming they are returning my deposits in full to expect them on my credit card bill within the next 1-2 months and they have all been returned in full. Are those of you having problems perhaps dealing with travel agents instead of dealing directly with Globus? I haven't had a single problem getting my money refunded on any of my 3 trips. I am hoping the 4th one is not cancelled, as it is not until October of 2021. If you are dealing with a travel agent instead of directly w/Globus, I think THAT might be the problem. I haven't had a single problem getting my money refunded for any of my trips and the agent I speak to each time did not try and talk me into putting it towards another trip, they simply asked if I wanted it refunded in full or if I wanted to put it towards another trip and when I confirmed that I did want it all returned, I got it back. I think 1-2 months is quite reasonable considering all the refunds they are having to process. read more

Today marks an historic day for me as I was completely discriminated against by Jim an employee of this company. I am an African American male, who's profile picture is attached to my email account (which I did not remember, until Jim's reply caught me by surprise). When asked to put a vacation package together and given my budget for my trip. This was Jim's reply and I quote: "Andrew, Unfortunately I do not think we are the right fit for what you are looking for. Preparing a package for you when the budget and the travel request don't match up creates extra work for us when ultimately the package and quote that we send to you will be well over your noted budget. We do not work with hostels or airB&B, we only work with handpicked hotels in each city that we have vetted to meet our standards. Typically for a 12 night trip for what you are requesting, we would not be able to come close to 5K. Realistically for the amount of logistics and length of your trip, anything we would send you would easily fall in the 8K to 9K range. Because we prepare only custom travel packages for Europe and are a small, boutique agency, we tend to have higher priced packages as opposed to a large group/escorted tours that can offer such low costs because of the number of travelers they pack into each tour and also because of the type of hotels and suppliers that they use tend to be of lower quality and cost. I am sorry that we will not be able to assist you. Thanks," So as you can see, I was not even given to chance to see if I were willing to change my budget if they believed mine was too low. I was NEVER offered pricing options, nothing. Just reduced to airB&B, and a hostel nonetheless. I'm not mad, or angry, just VERY disappointed that in 2020 this is still happening. We booked a tour through Colombia through independence by Globus which used to be Monograms. So not good. First, you had to go with their dates rather than choosing the date you wanted to start your tour. Then after we booked and I had questions or needed to make adjustments trying to get a hold of an agent wasn't possible. They just wouldn't respond via email so you'd have to call. Even after you'd call, follow up was minimum to none from them. We needed it to book intra air flighta and they refused to allow us to book and pay for the highest class where you could choose your seats and carry on. They forced us to pick the lowest level of class. No Effing way. So we were at least allowed to book our own and try our flights at the class we wanted. Then on our free days we wanted to book optional excursions through them. They suggested excursions in their literature but yet they had no excursions to offer. We had to go off on our own and book all of our optional excursions with a different company. What is the point of using a tour company if they don't have optional tours available? The best part was when they canceled our trip 3 days before we were supposed to leave because of a possible volcano eruption. This volcano warning had been going on for a month and they waited until 3 days before. They didn't even have any alternatives available for us. I was able to escalate my complaint, but it took a few times. Once my complaint was escalated it was crickets. I followed up a few times and nothing. These people are awful and Globus should be absolutely ashamed of themselves. The sorry not sorry attitude of the agents is unacceptable. Get your s*** together. read more

Buyer Beware!!!! Our 2021 trip was cancelled due to Covid, and company only refunded 42% of our deposit. Don't book with Globus.

If you want to spend your vacation on a bus with dozens of strangers, while feeling rushed and unfulfilled, definitely travel with these clowns. I could get less expensive airfare at the counter the day of the flight. I could have a taxi driver drive all over town for the cost of the hotel transfer. I recommend that you travel independently and enjoy your trip. This group bus thing with stringent schedules and cheap included meals made me feel trapped. They also rescheduled my departure twice without the slightest amount of empathy. read more

Booked an October trip with this company In April. Three days before the final payment is due they decide to mandate vaccines on all guests. I already gave my deposit and now they will not return it even though it was them that made the change in policy. I am travelling with an autistic adult that has Immune System Dysregulation and cannot be vaccinated, The customer service agents are rude and unhelpful. I will never travel nor recommend them. Broken Promises I was supposed to leave for the Portugal Escape tour on March 10, but I became concerned that I might get stranded in Europe because of the pandemic. I called on March 8 and was told the tour would go on as planned. I decided I couldn't risk the danger, and I cancelled. I was told to file the insurance claim, which I did. On March 12 President Trump banned European travel. A couple of days later I learned that Globus Journeys had in fact not proceeded with the tour. I called the company and was told that I would be issued a total refund within four weeks. I was also told I should cancel my insurance claim. I tried to do that, but I could never reach anyone at TripMate by phone. My email to them went unanswered. I called Globus Journeys more than once after that about the problem and was repeatedly told not to worry that I would get my refund. I subsequently received a travel certificate from TripMate as a reimbursement. I called Globus Journeys again to tell them I didn't want a travel certificate, and I was told my refund would be expedited. About a half-hour later the representative called me back and told me he was cancelling my refund. He suggested I mail the certificate back to travel support services and ask for a refund. Instead I sent an email asking if I sent the travel certificate back if I would get a refund. I received a reply back that under no circumstances would I get a refund. I think the reason I got a quick reply to that was that I had also called the Dallas NBC News complaint line about the problem, and they called the company as well. I think Globus Journeys was reckless in trying to proceed with tours when the crisis and threat to travelers became clear. Judging from other comments I've seen, people who are due refunds are getting runarounds and misinformation. I would not at all be surprised to learn that Globus Journeys goes out of business, and that the travel certificate I hold is a worthless piece of paper. I can't believe they are still trying to book new tours for the future when it is not at all clear when or if travel will be possible again. read more

We never heard from him or any of his staff. Instead Globus has done nothing. They've actually told our travel agent that they will not speak with us again. We will never use Globus again. We selected and booked this trip (Booking #*****) last June based on the verbiage, description, and information about it on your website. We've been excitedly looking forward to this once-in-a-lifetime trip ever since. As we approached 90 days out, we started focusing on the specifics of our trip in greater detail. We were surprised to see that what we wanted and what was booked were two different things. We were startled to find that our booked extension did not include the Okavango Delta as described in the details of the QSE1 on your website. As you can see below, the description on Globus' website states three game activities in Chobe as well as three game activities in the Okavango Delta. We first called our travel agent, ****, pointed out the discrepancy and requested the correction to our booking. We were surprised that she was unable to resolve this. We then contacted Globus directly with the expectation that our request would be easily accommodated. It was not. We even offered to pay the difference between the two packages. During conversations with both **** and Globus, we referenced the details on your website describing our tour. According to the verbiage from your website outlining the details of the QSE1 package, you can see how we were misled. We are terribly disappointed that, up to this point, a modification has not been made. We are appealing to you for your help and assistance with correcting this matter. We are confident that you would want your company to honor what was clearly written in your description of this trip. This is our first experience with Globus and we hope it is not our last. We are already planning trips to Australia & New Zealand, Norway & Iceland, as well as European River Cruises and have been looking at options offered by Globus. Based upon the misinformation on your website about our African trip and the disappointing customer service we've received trying to correct it, we are reconsidering our future use of Globus. I am still holding onto hope that you will be able to help us to resolve this to our satisfaction which is to rectify our extended booking to include the anticipated visit to the Okavango Delta. ... Update: As of today (3/20), neither our travel agent nor Globus has offered us anything; no alternate dates even though, according to the Globus website, other dates are available this year. If you are considering a tour with Cosmos tours, be aware that it is truly the economy tour. The hotels are acceptable, the breakfast and lunch stops are fast food....mostly Tim Hortons and our tour guide resembled a drill Sargent. We were charged extra for EVERYTHING INUDING PAYING $15 dollars a piece for the FREE hotel breakfast that was barely more than yogurt and muffins. The 9 day tour was REALLY only 7 days. The first day was a 2 minute meeting with the tour director to sign waivers and the last day was our trip to the airport. The very first thing that was addressed on the bus by the TD was how much we were expected to tip her and the driver.i thought tips were optional and not expected nor dictated. We were on the Canadian Rockiex tour and the scenery was extraordinary, but the whole trip was tainted by the tour itself. Save your money. The person on the phone (called at 12:00 pm Mountain time on 12-28-17) was completely disinterested, and treated me like a 2 year old. Super disappointed with Globus - Only cares about Bottom Line. Super disappointed with Globus and how they handled Coronavirus outbreak. Customer service was horrible and all I wanted to do was reschedule my trip to Italy. I returned yesterday March 7th 2020. Nope, not a refund and not allowed to reschedule either. I ended up going last week to Italy and they cancelled Venice the day I got there. Listen, I didn't want to go to Venice because of outbreak but they didn't even give me the option to reschedule or even stay in London (in advance of departure) they said they would cancel entire trip. You guys only care about the bottom line, super disappointing and I can't return to work for 14 days now!!!! Our tour guide Marina was horribly sick and coughed the entire time and several people seemed very sick in our tour group. Ethically wrong and if something ends up happening to my 70 year old mom I will hold this company personally responsible because you basically forced us to go on this trip- NO refunds and no rescheduling. I would never use this company again. I recently purchased a Germany tour through Globus and paid extra for trip insurance (to cover me in case there were unforeseen issues). I was supposed to fly via Delta. Because of a plane landing in the wrong terminal, all flights were severely delayed. I sat around at JFK Airport for 15 hours before I found out the flight was canceled. Delta tried rebooking me on a flight that would get me to Germany a couple of days later when half the tour was over. I, in turn, canceled my flights. Not only did the trip insurance I purchased through Globus NOT cover trip interruption (even though it is listed in the plan I purchased), Globus refused any kind of reimbursement or credit towards another tour. I am now out of $2600 for a trip I didn't go on. Lesson here...do your research before purchasing any kind of tour. Find a reputable company. Issues with travel are becoming more and more common these days. I have been going back and forth w/Delta, Globus, Allianz Insurance and my credit card company, and it has been a nightmare. Over 14 weeks to get a refund and only after having Visa open a dispute. Nothing but excuses and BS on the phone. They had to have their deposit over 1 year ahead of the trip but went beyond foot dragging to return my money. Covid or not ,no excuse to take that long.A a contractor if I took a clients money and didn't do the work or return money in a timely fashion I would find myself arrested....I will never book another trip with Globus ever. read more

Perhaps this review is premature, because later today, I will notify Globus that its preferred travel insurance provider declined to refund $508.06 in air fare that was cancelled because Globus cancelled a tour to France, and I was forced to choose different dates for the same excursion. So far, the supervisor has said it will work with me in case Trip Mate's decision is not satisfactory. We'll see. My only knock on Globus, so far, is that it offers Trip Mate as the travel insurance provider. Since my disastrous experience, I've researched that company, discovered it has a 1 out of 5 stars on Consumer Affairs' site, as well as Yelp, and it is NEVER recommended by professional reviewers of such companies. This review has everything to do with the customer service and not any actual vacation I took (I'll get to that in a minute). I requested a quote on a Portugal trip last Sunday. When I hadn't heard from anyone on Tuesday, I went through the motions to book online to confirm a price and then I called in. I spoke with Jeromy who told me that the tour I was interested, the single supplement would be waived. Awesome since the online price did not say that it would. He sent me three separate quotes for each of the flight classes as requested. When I started to do the math, something didn't add up and I emailed to see a price breakdown and a question asking if the single supplement was included because it looked like it was. I received a response the next morning asking for all of my information again and that because I wanted business class air, that the air promo available was not available for the better seats which sounded like a huge red flag to me. The air promo and the single supplement were exactly the same?!?! Sounded fishy. I told him that if the SS was waived I was ready to book right then and there. I called in again and asked to speak with a supervisor who could help me understand and maybe honor was told to me over the phone. I really didn't care about the $250 SS, but it was the principle of saying that it would be waived. I spoke with Steve who told me that supervisors weren't available and maybe he could help me. I relayed the entire story and he said that 1) the SS would not be waived for that trip and that Jeromy should have never told me that 2) the air promo was not the same price as the SS and that a different air class would not have affected the price and 3) that he was going to have a supervisor call me to "handle it" and I may not receive a call until the next morning. Needless to say, I never received a call. No one has contacted me again and I can't help but feel they really don't give a rat's butt about customer service or sales in general. I won't be moving forward with what would have been a $4,000 trip and I won't be looking for any other trips with Globus. I'd rather spend more and get some actual customer service elsewhere. read more

Overall a great experience with Globus when I traveled on their tour for 9 days in Tuscany and Umbria, Italy. The online booking process went without any problems and I booked a single room. The hotels were excellent (clean, modern, and quiet) and were in convenient locations. The bus driver was great and worked very hard getting the coach down narrow streets in those Italian wine towns. The sites and activities scheduled for the trip were just enough to make a comfortable pace. They were generous with free time and "explore on your own" opportunities. The guides were very knowledgeable and friendly and provided clear information on the sites they presented to us. Meals were tasty, a good demonstration of local cuisine, and the portions were generous. Transfers upon arrival and departure of the tour had no problems. I did have one issue with the native Italian tour guide which I reported when I returned home because Globus needed to know about it. On our last stop which included several hours of free time in a Tuscan wine town, we were told to return at 1pm at the bus "at the end of the street by the park." I returned an hour early at 12pm and waited where the parking lot had "bus parking" indicated on the pavement. Turned out I misunderstood the location and I did not find out until 120pm. I was actually 20 minutes late returning. I waited at the wrong location. The tour guide was very angry and fuming when she found me there waiting. She was unprofessional and nasty with me. Only 20 minutes! But I had waited for them for 1 hour. So on our way back to Rome for the final evening, we stopped for a break and I gave this horrible woman her tip of $85.00 for the week in the envelope they provided us in our tour documents. That was very generous I thought and more than the recommended amount. When I handed her the envelope she frowned and made a strange face. When the group returned from the bathroom break, this guide got on the bus microphone and commanded everyone to NOT give her the tip now. She wanted her tip envelopes brought to the final dinner that evening. Imagine telling your customers how and when to tip you. I reported this when I returned home. Overall it was a great trip even with the tour guide "who did not allow misunderstandings" in her directions. read more

Very disappointed with the Peru trip. This was our third and LAST Globus tour. I recommended four friends on this and two other trips. Customer service is less than one star. We asked about a partial refund, since our trip was one day less than others who booked with Globus. Response was we had a land trip- no kidding because I can't remember swimming in the Pacific Ocean. I will use direct competitor's or book myself. read more

Buyer beware! Although I can not yet attest to the travel experience I have been unhappy with my booking experience thus far. I booked a trip to Ireland, airfare included. I received a quote for $4,100 and some change. I made a down payment Of $2750. When I processed my final payment for the trip my credit card was charged $4,200. Upon calling I was told my airfare could not be booked from my departure city (Miami). They added $2,800 onto my itinerary without my consent and stated I would be responsible for the cost. I presented my original quote with cost break down and the information from Globus' booking agent stating airfare inclusive in my quote with no other line item stating cost subject to airfare fee, etc. Globus never contacted me about any increase for the trip, or so would have determined $6,900 was not worth 7-days. The first agent and his manager have been unable to assist me and they have escalated the case up the chain. However, I find it very suspicious that a company can take it upon themselves and charge an extra nearly $3,000 without Permission. I will continue to update this post and pray for a reasonable resolution. read more

Beware of Cosmos/Globus tours when booking a tour. I just got back from Italy with Cosmos tours and I am extremely disappointed. In the material on the internet at their site, it stated that there would be 2 optional tours and in fact there were 8 tours. The increase in tours cost me an extra $800 with I had not planned for. The hotel accommodations were horrible. Two of the three hotels did not have A/C. The thermostat was set at 34.7c which is about 100F. The other hotel did not have A/C at all. Dinner at one of the hotels was on the patio which was enclosed on three sides with no A/C and it was 106F that day in Florence. I had to leave in the middle of dinner. I wish I knew what I know now about Cosmos. Hope this helps some one. Kay read more

Its unclear what this company actually does. I booked a tour with Globus through Affordable Tours (also do not use). After paying for the trip, neither company was interested in speaking with me about questions I had about our trip. I booked an excursion directly on the Globus website, but they claim it is not their responsibility to send the vouchers. Affordable Tours claims its not theirs. Globus representatives Tanya and David claimed not to know anything about anything. I was never able to reach my representative at Affordable Tours, Vivian- she is never available. I only receive email claiming she is on vacation -- multiple times and no one to respond to me about my concerns. Some manager of customer service, Naomi, insists Affordable Tours is an online company and I should not expect to speak to a person--seriously??? Best to use a direct tour organization but not Globus since they don't take responsibility for their lack of action. read more

Beware! This company is bizarre. Its has a problem changing booking after they have their deposits, and require 24-48h (business days), to decide whether they will "allow"/"permit" the changes. This is so remarkable, that I am seriously their tours. If this is the initial behavior (honeymoon phase) I can just imagine what the tour (marriage phase) will be like. This was an absolutely disastrous company to try to work with, they were inflexible and could not understand that not all corporate policies should be followed to the letter of the law. This is the email I sent to an employee that I assume was attempting to help me. Basically, I was trying to propose to my girlfriend on one of their tours and surprise her by showing up to the end in Paris. "Jack, I just wanted to respond to your last email, as the group just took off this evening. If you could pass it on to the operations team, that would be great as well. It was very disheartening to hear that your company did not want to be a part or help out in any way an extremely important moment in a new families life. I understand corporate procedures. However, as a sales manager myself, I understand when rules should be bent. Everything should be done to take care of a client and this was a great opportunity for your company to play a large positive role in our lives. However, the narrative will be that your company, one that "...know(s) vacations like no one else. And we can't wait to share its stories with you", will actually read that, due to policy, could not help make a beautiful story for its own client. As such, I would have to say, you have lost potential customers and have put your companies name in our new family history in a very negative light. Any time that I tell our story of the day I proposed to my girlfriend on your tour, it will be referencing Globus negatively and a following recommendation not to use you. I am a very loyal customer to people, ones that put together parts of a company that cares about the end result and wants to help with anything in their control. Your company was unable to lend any help whatsoever, and for that reason I will take those loyalties elsewhere. Jack, I appreciate your openness in trying to get my request to the powers that be, I understand this was probably out of your control. It is mostly a reflection on a company culture that has lost its vision in creating lifelong memories. " I sent this two weeks ago, the company has yet to respond. Globus is wonderful!! I have booked two trips (Italy and China) with them and they are always courteous and professional. Everyone from the phone operator to the online staff to the local tour guides at your destination, everyone is nice, professional, knowledgeable and wonderfully pleasant. They make it so easy and fun to plan your trip that you have more time left to look forward to it!! :-) read more

I made a deposit for a trip that I was told and confirmed by email that it was an inclusive vacation with flight ,6 months later when the final payment was due I was told that there was no flight included in this trip and that I should pay the final deposit and call back to inform then how I was going to connect with the tour ,no one was interested in hearing or seeing the email confirming that I was in fact sold an inclusive package,me being a single traveling on my own would not have purchased a tour only package and try to manover 3 different countries on my own ,I have traveled with several different companies in the past and this was never the case,these people are liars and dishonest lacking basic customer service skills read more

Just returned from a Globus tour of Croatia. Our tour guide, Martina, was fantastic-very knowledgeable, personable, organized with a good sense of humor. The tour itinerary was excellent as we visited many places along the way. Hotels and food was variable from poor to excellent. We booked 2 extra nights in Dubrovnik through Globus which was a major mistake. They literally charged me twice what it would have cost had I booked myself, an error I will never make again. I received a very unsatisfying response from Globus when I questioned them about this after the tour. Basically, they charged per person ( 2 of us)per room per night, as opposed to per room, per night, how hotels price. So, if you take a Globus tour and want extra nights, book yourself. By comparison, last summer booked extra nights in Paris with Viking and they contracted a very competitive rate. Joanne V. Amendment: I'm pleased to report that after several emails back and forth,Globus will be refunding the difference between the per room/per night and per person/per night rate. The best tour I have ever been on. We saw many wild animals in Yellowstone and the Big horn Mountains, were never rushed and I am looking forward to travelling again. Their Tour Director was amazing. She is fun, played great music and had a wealth of knowledge to share with us and showed us places we would have never seen on our own. She took care of everything . We have been on two Globus tours, Italian mosaic in 2014 and scenic Ireland in 2015. Absolutely perfect trips. We are doing Eastern Europe with them this coming Sept. Expect no help, ignored, no resolution if issue on tour occurs Rate 0 Rate 0, would never touch Globus or Cosmo tour again. Be warned if there is an issue with your tour - Don't expect Globus to help you or provide a resolution - care factor is nil. Don't risk it - don't buy Globus or Cosmo. Globus and CEO of Globus accepts and approves employee bad behaviour - including lying, disrespect and mock client in front of them and putting the client health and safety at risk - I have proof in emails that support this. Had major trouble on a comos 15 night trip in silicy - 10 nights of 15 nights trip went through extreme stress and no resolution (not during the trip or after rectification). The tour guide was extremely unprofessional in behaviour - lying to clients repeating, tour guide was disrespectful, mock, belittle, laugh about and downgrade clients in front of them in Italian thinking they don't understand what you are saying (clients understood what was said and extremely upset), the tour guide and company ignore risks and forced two of the shared clients to share with another that was an issue (that person should not been allowed to purchase a twin share or should of been told to get own room on tour - sharing with this person posed WHS hazards with power cords hanging mid high across room for their medical equipment (trip hazard) and breach of privacy and access to basic amenities (sharing with a stranger twin share - where can't shut bathroom door to go to toilet or shower - as the only power point is in bathroom and her equipment had to be plugged in for life support). Multiple clients on tour complained to tour guide for 10 days and demanded another room, the tour guide did not deal with it and lied, also mocked and disrespected clients in front of them. While on tour multiple complaints emailed direct to Globus as governing body did nothing and swept it under the table and ignored it. Multiple complaints was lodge after trip as well - still no action or resolution, Multiple complaints alerting CEO of Globus (12 pages letter full examples, photos and correspondence - still no action and I specifically ask CEO questions Does the CEO accept staff bad behaviour and breach of code of conduct - approving Globus staff lying, disrespectful, mocking clients and in Italian too and a whole heap more - I received a call today and YES the CEO of Globus approves the bad behaviour of staff and clients being disrespecting, mocking, lying and more. I travel extensively all over the world for 28 years, no other Tour company does this - all other companies will resolve it. Don't risk it - don't use Globus or Cosmos - if you have an issue you wont get help. Use another tour company - there are plenty of good ones out there who will stand by their service. read more

I just talked with representative at Globus and they DO NOT accommodate people with medically necessary dietary restrictions. In my case, I wanted to take a tour with family and could not due to their refusal to accommodate my celiac disorder with gluten free meals, or my blood sugar problem with meals that are low carb as well. For a higher priced and not economy tour company, this is unacceptable. read more

We just got back this week from the essential Europe tour. GREAT beds, nice rooms... and there were no surprises. Plenty to do, and some free time, too. We did plenty of optional tours and the Globus guide was excellent. (Lode). He was informative and fun without being annoying and perky. All travel arrangements were smooth. What I loved, and why I would take another tour, was I never took my suitcases to the room or to the bus. All of that was done for me. read more

I have just returned from a wonderful trip to Amsterdam, Luxembourg, Bruges and Brussels. It almost didn't happen. We were hit by Hurricane Harvey and told by local officials that the airports were closed and that no International flights would be available until after our trip was well on it's way. At the last minute, I received a text from KLM saying that although late, the flight would still happen. We had already cancelled everything and were preparing to file claims with the insurance companies when we realized that we would be able to go after all. Globus was very accommodating and reinstated our itinerary including the extra tours. Our escort Girt was great and I can't say enough good things about him. Any minor problem that we had were non-issues once he stepped up to the plate. He was phenomenal, well read, witty, informed and knowledgeable about all of the places on our trip. The local guides were great although sometimes the accents were a little difficult for this Texas girl. Behind our trip was the desire to see and experience as much of the culture and history as is possible in 10 days and we were not disappointed. Perhaps the pace might be a little rushed for those who were seeking a more relaxed vacation but that was not our goal. We experienced local cuisine and atmosphere. The accommodations were great. The bus was comfortable and our fellow travelers friendly and fun. It was an awesome experience and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Globus to all my friends and family. read more
