Great friendly service. Got my international DL there. Free passport photos but they were the worst I've ever had.

My wife has been walking to work because her car was damaged by a AAA Colorado technician's improper battery installation. The dealer -- Mile High Honda -- has quoted nearly $1,000 for the repair. We submitted a claim to AAA. A week passed. We call and call but keep getting passed around. No one wants to talk about the issue. We finally receive a passive-aggressive voicemail from a AAA Colorado rep saying that, after a week of waiting, the investigation into her claim hasn't begun. There was also a vaguely threatening language that she needs to respond in a timely manner or ... tough luck. "We need you to fill out some forms before we can begin the investigation." When were they going to tell us? I'm guessing they were stalling ... hoping we'd just go away. We submitted the paperwork. Then, a total of two weeks had passed. We call again to see what is going on. We are told "they" will speak with Pacesetter Roadside Assistance, the company who installed the battery. What have they been doing in the mean time? We finally get an answer ... the folks at Pacesetter say that they installed the battery correctly so ... they will not be helping us with the damage. That's it? "We didn't do it." To our knowledge, no one from AAA Colorado spoke with the service department at Mile High Honda to get their side of the story. There was a time when AAA was a trusted, comforting travel partner. No more. AAA Colorado let us down. After decades of membership fees paid, and recommending AAA unreservedly ... we've been left with no choice but to drop them. We will continue to steer people away ... from what has become a scam. read more

Went into AAA yesterday to purchase a purse and get maps for an upcoming trip. I have a medical condition that makes wearing a mask hazardous to my health. According to HIPPA guidelines, I am exempt from state rules requiring masks. The personnel told me that I had to step outside in the hot sun and that I was not allowed to be inside. They were afraid of being closed down. I will not go back there! read more

This is my first review I usually don't have any desire to express feedback however my experience this morning was to good to go unnoticed. I just moved here from out of state and with snow and hail talk around my office I decided an AAA membership could be useful. I was greeted with smiles from ear to ear by two very kind women at the front desk Sandy and Sabrina I believe. I explained my situation and they were very informative and sat me with an agent. I was at this young lady's desk for quite sometime. I'll be honest when I saw how young she looked I was worried I was going to be thrown around and Mis guided. I was very wrong Morgan Shape was very knowledgeable and asked questions to find the best membership for me. She mentioned she also did insurance and since I was already there I thought what the heck. I was blown away with the rates so low and affordable. She made this transition seamless providing me with all the literature all my options and overall being a bright young woman. This company is by far the best I have worked with from the ladies at the front to my new potential membership and insurance agent I feel that my best interests are at heart here. Thank you AAA for giving me peace of mind will absolutely recommend AAA to anyone considering insurance or membership. read more

We have been AAA members for over 40 years and have used them for the usual road service, maps, tour books etc. This time we were looking to book an Alaska tour/cruise but were overwhelmed by all the information out there. Not knowing what to expect we called AAA/Southwest told Dawn Lange, Travel Specialist what we were after and booked an appointment. Dawn was a gem! She walked us through our options, answered our questions and even though it was late for 2014 was able to book us the tour/cruise we wanted. When it came time to book our flights she came through with the best fair we had seen. As soon as we get back we will be talking to Dawn about our Grand Europe River Cruise for 2015. read more

I have been a AAA member for over 25 years and have had only positive experiences. Over the years I've had keys made to replace those lost at the airport, cars towed and batteries jumped. I recently went in to get an International driver's license. The whole process, including two photos, only took 15 minutes. I also asked a very specific question about reciprocity with the Argentine AA and the helpful employee got me the information I needed very quickly. There is no comparable car service to AAA, period. read more

My wife and I have had AAA for more than 6 years now and have been very happy with the service. However, recently my wife went to the Southwest Store, in Denver, Colorado for some help on making train tickets in Italy. When it was finally her turn and she explained her need to Jody the travel agent; she noticed that Jody's attitude suddenly change when she realized she was not going to make money off my wifes' request. Jody became rude, nasty and short. My wife noticed she was more focused on trying to sell her things like trip insurance (That she did NOT want) and when she finally realized that she wasn't going to make money off her, Jody cut my wife off short and said she couldn't help her at all. What's the deal, does AAA offer free help with travel needs or is good service reserved for the customers they can make money off of? I believe they are already making money off my membership? read more

After seeing her article in EnCompass, we talked with Jody Pauly about a safari trip to Africa. She was very knowledgable and helpful and gave suggestions based on our budget, which was a pleasant surprise from some of the other travel agencies we contacted. She sent us out great information right away, and it was such a great experience. One of the reasons we continue to be AAA members. Highly recommend!! read more

The people in this office are great! We had been looking around the usual travel sites for a car for spring break vacation and were shocked at the prices. The agent got us a car for 60% (!) less than the best online had, set up the reservation, and printed directions from the airport to the hotel. I went to AAA hoping to get information for an upcoming trip to Spain. The agent who helped me let me know that he was personally unfamiliar with Spain and that my basic membership does not qualify me for that kind of assistance. I was disappointed by that. I've been a member for many years and rarely travel and was hoping that I would be able to get at least some basic guidance. The women at the check in/check out counter were very helpful re. my other needs. read more
