I told her that we wanted to go somewhere reasonably close as we only had 4 nights and we wanted to swim with some form of wildlife, if it be sea lions, dolphins etc but in the wild was preferred. We stayed at Secrets Akumal, Riveria Maya about an hour south of Cancun where we got to swim with sea turtles right off the resort beach!! It was the most amazing trip ever!!
