I perused their website to find out how much a visit here would set me back. It states $79-$89 for an exam. I was charged the former. There are no doctors on staff, only Nurse Practitioners, and maybe a PA at some locations. Stephanie, the CRNP I saw was great. She didn't rush through with me. She asked a lot of questions about my symptoms, and explained things well. Turns out I wasn't dying...but had an upper respiratory tract infection. She explained why my usual Z-pack wouldn't work, and suggested I buy Mucinex D (the type kept behind the pharmacy counter and away from drug dealers). Four days later, my cough is gone, but I now have a sinus infection. Maybe the Z-pack wouldn't have been a bad idea...certainly cheaper than the Mucinex. The only drawback is that you may have to wait to see someone. The website said they take a mandatory break from 2-3 on weekdays, but there was a sticky note on the sign-in computer (at 1pm when I arrived) saying that after the next person that was on the list they'd be on break until 3:30. Oh well, I put my name on the list, left, and came back around 3:00. I didn't have to wait until 3:30, as Stephanie took me about 15 minutes earlier, and at that time there was no one else waiting. So, I guess it is a crap shoot as to whether or not you'll have to wait. And if you're feeling crappy and can't get an appointment with your doctor, this beats going to the Emergency Room.

Than talking to his self, he said it will be OK and that was it. I made a telehealth visit because I hated going in his office because I would wait over an hour each time and this time he was angry because I had not seen him in a year and wanted me to come in before ordering more meds and do blood work. I said order me a lab, but he refused to because he wants to do them in-house to get more money. It would not surprise me if he bills for a transfusion. If this guy is a primary care doctor, than I am a brain surgeon.
