One of the weakest lounge experiences I've ever had. The lounge was under construction and didn't have a working restroom either. The food selection was awful. Salad and toppings that looked like they've been sitting out forever, a coffee section with very limited options. The sitting area sucked too. It was packed l. There wasn't much an hour wait with a huge line just to get in after we arrived. People were sitting on the floor because all the tables and couches were taken. If you got up, someone was waiting to steal your seat. It was nice to grab a coffee and some sodas, but we didn't stay long! read more

This is a rough lounge yall. Firstly, I'm obviously appreciative of having priority pass and access but this is one of the worse lounges on the pass that I've been to. Not the best experience ever and def felt third world country-ish. It was very sad with old wilting serve yourself salad bowl with prepackaged lettuce. Mini sandwiches with sad droopy melted cheese from the warmth of the room. Some sort of salty soup, lukewarm coleslaw. Nothing edible. Luckily they have a QR code where we could order some warm food. The menu never changes for this. Always arroz con candles, steamed frozen veggies from a bag, and tough chewy pork pieces claiming to be pernil. Oh they also have penne with Alfredo or penne with marinara. Sometimes the microwave doesn't work so they don't serve the food leaving u to wait in the extremely long lines outside to order fast food from the terminal. I will say a huge perk of this lounge is the booze. Endless Medalla lights make us happy campers as we kill some time. read more

This is one of the smallest lounges I have ever visited. It's also in a fairly busy airport which means the lines can be very long. You are able to make a reservation for a fee which may be worth it depending on when you flight is. The facilities aren't great. The food is ok. Don't forget they have a QR code menu for hot food. You aren't limited to the food that is sitting out. The bar is self serve which is fine but not exactly fancy. read more

This is the only priority pass lounge in Terminal A. It's not that impressive and it's pretty bare bones. The food items are limited to two types of sandwiches, a soup, salad, and two types of cakes. The alcohol is self-service and includes wine and beer. There is only a menu which you can order from using your phone but it only basically one item on it. The wifi didn't work. The lounge is small and feels claustrophobic as the tables and seats are pretty close to each other. To escape this, I recommend sitting in the very back where it's a long table with 4 seats (it's also more quiet). There is no bathroom at this lounge and you have to escape and walk about 3-4 minutes. The only positive is that the workers were good and hardworking. read more

It's a decent lounge to get a quick bite and drink before your flight. Don't come here expecting much, but it's better than nothing if you have the Priority Pass. We came here right when he opened. The check-in process was quick and we grabbed our seats right away. The lounge is small though, but it wasn't too crowded since we were so early. There is a QR code to order the hot entree food, which consisted of omelette, sausage patty, pancakes, and toast. Little to work with as far as the seating area or food you would want to eat at all due to lack of cleanliness and options. Terminal may be better. Four stars for finally enjoying relative quiet in a lounge that's not crowded on a Monday afternoon (not a holiday weekend). It's been a while! Service was very friendly and quick. Saw them cleaning and disinfecting. Average offerings: saw 1800 tequila, 2 types of Don Q rum, Disarono, and I believe Bombay Sapphire gin, SKYY vodka at the bar, in addition to Heineken and Medalla beers in cans. Rose, red (Zinfandel, Merlot), white (Pinot Grigio, Chardonnay) wines. A few sodas and small water bottles. Food: Simple broccoli cheese soup (somewhat tasty), pasta salad, a small caesar salad, yellow rice with a few pork pieces. Close enough to B terminal to walk over and enjoy this lounge a bit before walking to your gate. It's located past El Meson restaurant, at entrance of C terminal, past duty free. read more

Not the best place there is. Actually, this one ranks as a lower one for me. Their offerings are really at the bare minimum and the bathroom isn't decorated at all. The good thing about this place is that it is quiet and separated from the rest of the general public so you still get a sense of exclusivity. The coffee here was pretty bad and I didnt even finish my cup. What I got from this place is really the ability to rest and relax and drink water while I surfed the internet before boarding. Would I come here again? It is pretty much your only choice and if you have priority pass, just use it if you can. I would not pay to enter the lounge here, but it is just here as an additional perk. For some reason, the place is separated with an elevator. The elevator is quite slow. So do take that into account. read more

I stopped in before my Flight to Miami and This lounge kind of small and old. The employees were very nice but the lounge is dated and has little options. Furniture is stained and worn out. The bathroom was clean and they had some Power outlets available in the seating area. They have cafeteria styled seating in the center. It wasn't very crowded on a Wednesday morning but you can honestly go to a regular restaurant for better food. I guess the free drinks and WiFi Make up for it. read more

Been told by the lady at the tax-free shops that this one's slightly better than the one in terminal A. And that it's closer to my gate (B11) anyway. They have two lounges: C (this one) and A. It's a set menu type of food. Beef or vegetarian, plus a salad (out of a bag) and a desert (did not try). No juices. Only lots of coffee options (a huge machine). No snacks either--almost. I saw families brining their own fast food from outside. If this one's the better one of the two lounges, then I guess I should be grateful. read more

Visited the Global Lounge in Terminal A SJU after our flight was delayed a few hours. My BF wanted to watch the Steelers football game and they confirmed they would put it on one of the TVs. The place is very dumpy. Bathrooms were so dirty. It's very small so seating fills up quickly. It was also unbearably hot in there. Luckily we each had our travel fans we could plug in, otherwise it would have been so uncomfortable sitting there for two hours. We didn't bother eating any of the food - limited options and it all looked inedible. The greatest value is the alcohol. I would not recommend paying any money to utilize this lounge. read more

The location in terminal C has its own restrooms and a decent bar with alcoholic & non-alcoholic drinks. The food is served individually rather than buffet style. They have done away with QR code ordering and have put a display of items on offer at the bar where you can order both hot & cold selections. For lunch, they had a chicken & rice dish, soup, salad, & desserts. The coffee-espresso machine makes pretty decent cappuccinos. We arrived at the airport early, and even though our gate was at gate, B, we decided to try out this lounge, (even though this lounge is in C, the walk between gates is short). The lounge itself is pretty simple, and not much to look at with, most people choosing to sit around close to where the bar is. The bar and food options are served up by a oh worker, so it's not self-serve, but there was never a line even when there was a good amount of people in there. They had a few different food options, including a very bare-bones salad, a soup, a plate of rice, turkey, and green beans, and two dessert options. We chose just to get the salad since the rest of the food honestly didn't look that appetizing, but I saw some people eating it Just fine. Allegedly this lounge is better than the one in C, but I think that if you just need somewhere to sit away from people and maybe get a little food to hold you over this is a perfectly fine option. read more

Well stocked bar... but given it was early morning with a 6 hr layover, while I could have gotten my monies worth... wasn't in the mood to fly in that sort of condition. Cons: gets super crowded since it's so accessible to everyone. Sucky breakfast selection just your basic eggs, ham, cheese, toast and small cereal selection. Crappy coffee bar brought to you by Nescafé. Just some yucky instant stuff. Alcohol situation could be wider selection but hey, you get beer, wine and hard liquor and a few stuff to mix so that's not too bad. Definitely a good spot to lounge at if you're gonna be waiting hours at the airport might as well be here with free drinks and snacks then out there at the gates. A bare minimum lounge with subpar food. The tables are packed too close to each other, there aren't enough outlets, and the business center has three desks and two chairs. Food is pretty bad: pre-perpared pork/rice/beans and a "bowl" of tomato soup that was literally 25-30% filled. It's a place to go to charge up your phone and maybe grab a lukewarm drink. This lounge ticks off all of the required boxes on the checklist without distinguishing itself in any category. There is adequate seating with a fair number of outlets. The lounge felt pretty busy during our two visits here (once before Covid and again at the tail end of the pandemic). Noise level was medium. There are no views to speak of. WiFi is available. The restroom was clean. The food was certainly better before the pandemic. The potato soup and strawberry mousse we had on our recent visit (in June 2021) might best be described as palatable and free. There is a full bar. Covid precautions, as one previous reviewer noted, require staff to serve you food and drinks. The staff were uniformly efficient and friendly. The coffee and soup stations are still self serve. In short, this lounge beats not having a lounge. It's not worth going out of your way to stop in, but it will give you a place to sit down, eat, and recharge before your flight. read more

Far too small for the amount of people they let in. Especially when those people need to get trashed before a flight, so they're just getting louder and louder. I've been to probably a dozen airport lounges, and this was the worst. The staff does a great job with a terrible space, so the stars are for them. It's kept clean and the food is refreshed quickly. The food is pretty decent. I had a chicken, rice with veggies and olives, and coleslaw. There's all the liquor you want. We did luck out and grab and hog two of the three lounge chairs in the "quiet room" for two hours which was the only place to get some peace. Oh, and there's no bathroom. WTF? First time I've ever paid a day fee to use a lounge, and it will probably be the last unless I know I'm walking into something good. NOTE: This is for the lounge in Terminal C, the JetBlue terminal. Spacious lounge. Prior to the pandemic, they had some great Puerto Rican hot food with arroz con gandules, shredded beef, etc. However, now they only offer some sandwiches, a package of wrapped mini donuts, soup of the day, etc. They also have coffee and a full bar. The place is always clean and tidy and they do a decent job of enforcing covid safety measures. Their new(ish) rule is you are not allowed to serve yourself anything. Recently visited the two prioirty pass lounges in San Juan International airport. This lounge is near terminal A on the ground floor while the other one requires you to take an elevator. I have been to many prioirty pass accessible lounges and this rates very low, the other one is only a tad better (the one you have to get to via elevator) I was disappointed with this lounge, the smell should have been the first indication. All the chairs really smelled and were deeply stained, like they needed a huge deep clean along with the rest of the lounge which just seemed dirty. There was barely a snack to be had (got there around 11am), they had what looked like cheerios in a dispensor with no milk to go with it. The hot entree was some sort of egg thing or a plate of toast. Yes a plate of toast. both items where served by a person behind a small roped area. They also had a few beers, which we had a Medalla light. they had cocktails but it was really just mixed, no real bar area. I saw a few bottles of liquor but dared not try it given how dirty the place looked. Overall a place to charge your phone but that is about all. read more

The receptionist took our number and said we were put on a waitlist and would be called once l we're able to go in. 1 1/2 hours later with no call We go back up there and the receptionist is watching the tv in the actual lounge. Had a four hour layover here, was hoping to take refuge in the lounge. It was small, it's the only one in the airport, and the food choices are exceedingly small. The positives are that it has an open bar, clean rest rooms and it's quiet. Negatives are no shower, no hot food, and limited seating. Free Food + Free Drinks + Free Internet + Seats These things make for an enjoyable airport lounge experience. The Global Lounge has all of these things... but just barely. When I visited in Jan 2017, the lounge was super crowded and my family and I literally managed to grab the last open table in the entire lounge. So yeah, I do wish this lounge was larger with more seats. Otherwise though, this was a pleasant place to pass time (~1.5 hrs) before our flight boarded. This would be a 3-star review had I paid cash to use this lounge (since the food selection also wasn't the greatest), but since I got in for free with my Priority Pass card, it was a solid 4 star experience. read more
