I work for a major hotel chain and would never recommend this place to any hotel guest or my Airbnb guest. I have never been treated so inappropriately as I was tonight. We were a party of 6 there to watch the playoff game. We were sitting in the back and saw that the place had cleared out enough that several booths were now open, so we decided to grab a more comfortable spot where we could settle in and watch the football game. Miss Gabriela came over and told us we had to move. There were several other open tables. She explained that there were people outside in line waiting for that particular table. We did not see any line, and our awesome waiter, Richard, had already given us the okay to move. As we closed out our check with him, he said someone would be by to clean the table. Well, Gabriele was not happy that we were accommodated and never sent a waiter to take our order or clean the table. We waited 20 minutes and only after speaking to the manager were we serviced. Our waitress was awesome, very attentive, and friendly. We ordered drinks and nachos, which were just mediocre. Then the game was changed to a volleyball game. Several football fans asked about the game being changed and were told that we had to watch volleyball. Many started to close out their checks and after closing mine and going to the host's desk, Miss Gabriele snatched the parking ticket from my hand and proceeded to validate my ticket. I was beyond stunned and in total disbelief. I went to speak to the manager and he was very dismissive and as I looked over, there was Gabriele laughing and flashing a heart with her two hands my way. She was very antagonistic in manner and the manager did absolutely nothing. I have never been treated in such an unprofessional manner as I was at this establishment. Stopped in for lunch. It's conveniently located across the street from where we were staying. They were prepping for a baseball event so we were seated upstairs. It gave us a nice view of the large open restaurant. There are tons of TVs around and, in talking to our server, they have basically any sports package you would want so if you want to watch a game, this is the place to do it. We split a club sandwich. It was huge so splitting was the right choice. It came with a side and we chose the onion rings. Again, great choice. Rings were crispy and delicious. Our server was great. Arena Medalla was directly across the street from the Virgin Voyages dock. We met two other couples from pour group as we had a few hours to kill. It was a bustling place but service was still excellent. We found a spot upstairs to hang out to get food and drinks. What I remember . I especially like how they fade out the commercials for music but then fade in the volume for the game. Service is great. Our server Adrian was on top of everything and made sure we had good seats to see the game I wanted. I'm a suns fan and that is not some big tv matchup. But still they made sure to show the suns game on one of the TVs for my group. The beer is ok, but not great. The food is basically garbage. We came in for the college national championship game had to make reservations through open table with a pre pay of $45/person. We were table of 6, and greeted enthusiastically when we arrived. It's a sports bar with craft beers and more. I called a couple of times and spoke with Gabrielle and she answered all my questions. My brother ordered a bourbon siracha with his wings, he said it just tasted like bbq sauce. One of the unique things about this place is they have a DJ that jams during the commercials. I ordered the Pecos Wrap. It was hot, flavorful and presented quite well. My wife had the fish tacos and thought they were very good. One of my guest also had the fish tacos and commented how good they were also, the only input to think about she thought the slaw was dry. That could have been a personal taste preference. I ordered Carrot Cake and it came out warm, but took about 30 minutes to show up at our table. The desert was not anything special. The restrooms were clean and well stocked. Great vibe, lots to do such as rent of room for karaoke or play ping-pong or billiards you can play darts or a huge scrabble and there are various old-school video games along the wall on the second floor. I cannot say enough good things about this place! They have gone above and beyond with welcoming us! This is the second year in a row that they've accommodated our LARGE GROUP (25-30 people) on their patio. Our service has been fantastic! He is so attentive going between two adult tables and one gymnast table. We've had the perfect view of the screens able to listen to music! Unfortunately, I dove right into my food without taking more pictures than this. But the food came up HOT and cooked to order! No complaints from any adults or children. Caesar salad had shavings of plaintain chips which was a very interesting twist for me. However, that's where it ends. The salad was not the typical Caesar salad. The tostones lacked some seasoning and the garlic sauce on top of the tostones was bit too strong. Overall this has a traditional sports bar feel with some seating arrangements that make it dining and family-friendly. The interior is very open-concept so immediately you get the feeling that the place is lively as their are big screen televisions strategically situated throughout the restaurant. Similar to what you'd expect from any sports bar. The drinks are good and they offer traditional Puerto Rican drafts and cocktails. The food was OK and was along the lines of what I'd expect from an establishment whose primary focus is alcohol and lounging.
