Salad and toppings that looked like they've been sitting out forever, a coffee section with very limited options. The sitting area sucked too. It was packed l. There wasn't much an hour wait with a huge line just to get in after we arrived. People were sitting on the floor because all the tables and couches were taken. If you got up, someone was waiting to steal your seat. It was nice to grab a coffee and some sodas, but we didn't stay long!

It's not very welcoming and there's no crowd control. Super tight spaces where you're having to constantly try to maneuver around people. + can order some hot food to your seat via QR code +variety of seating from plastic chairs and tables to comfort seats to some loungers in a star room +star room is a quiet room with plenty of charging +kids area -kids and star room are across from each other and the poor design does not bode well for the relaxation when there are crying kids -super cramped space with no crowd control -not very clean -small selection of food Definitely still a perk and worth a visit to get away from the greater crowd at the airport but don't come expecting much!

They also have a good variety of soda and a decent coffee station. The lounge is small and crowded. We fought jut to find a table. When we came (2/1/26) the lounge was under construction and the bathroom was closed, so going to the bathroom meant going downstairs out to the terminal areas. The food selection was lackluster. Bowls of salads sitting out at room temperature, one container of soup, some pre made sandwiches and a few cakes over by the coffee table. The lounge at MCO is more impressive, and that's a statement!

They had a vegetable soup with next to no vegetables in the broth. Food and drinks are not self service and the woman serving the order counter was far from friendly. For ladies - it's also worth noting that their women's restroom had a huge gap of around 2-3 inches between the wall and the door offering next to no privacy while you are in the stall. I would recommend just waiting to use the restroom in the terminal. This lounge might be fine to have an a complimentary alcoholic beverage with your priority pass membership, however pretty unenjoyable beyond that.

The server Arnaldo was even coughing during the time I was there and at the same time licking his finger while counting the bills which is very unsanitary. I only went to this place as it is the only one open serving hot food nearby. What made it worse is that they spoke about me in Spanish assuming that I can't understand them. They served the people who clearly paid after me their food first as they were able to communicate in Spanish and questioned me when I pointed that out. Even the lady who ordered after me agreed with me but the server insisted on giving her the food that she ordered given the fact the we ordered the same thing. A piece or advice, just speak Spanish if you can. Or just go to another place.

At first, the food was pretty okay. I got waited on and served relatively quickly. However, my darker skinned friends had to wait a longer time not just to order, but also to get their food. One of my darker skinned friends ordered three empanadas and only received two. When she tried to speak to one of the servers about getting her third empanada they refused. She said she was willing to pay for it, but they refused to serve her what she asked. Then, they said there's always a problem with "you people". Then all of a sudden they lied and said she was trying to scam them. As we're walking out, they start cursing at us and saying things like " I hope everyone except you (referring to my darker skinned friend) has a good day". The servers were overall very disrespectful, they cursed, and they were overly unprofessional. So even though the food was okay this was a horrible experience. As we were leaving, we saw two other darker skinned black women walk up to try and order. We told them about our experience and the servers started lying and saying that we are there every day and always causing problems. This was also untrue. That was the first time we've ever been to this restaurant. We walked a block down the street to wait for our car service. Then moments later, we bumped into the same dark skinned black women we saw earlier and they told us that their presence wasn't even acknowledged. So like I said even though the food was pretty okay. It wasn't good enough to be okay with the blatant colorism where it wasn't expected.

It's a teeny spot with only about 10 seats, so you may have to wait. We were lucky to go on a cloudy day and snagged a little table. Chicken wings, pulled pork tacos, and the pork stuffed tostones are all yummy. There's an herby green sauce on them that is out of this world. Fresh and bright. Mojito was good, I'd steer clear of the margarita (seems like a mix is used). The OceanLab IPA was local and yummy.

I had seen the reviews on yelp, but had no idea that we were staying in the same building. We asked a bartender at a hotel bar about EDL and quickly discovered we had walked past it on our way out of the condo earlier that evening. Let me start by saying that this place doesn't get going until midnight, which is normal for people like us who are from Miami...for others the hours may be a little tough. The owner/bartender Freddie is as hospitable as can be. We were welcomed into the small old fashioned bar right away. There was a mix of locals and folks like us from the states, but everyone fit in. We happened to arrive shortly before midnight on 2/13, and Freddie's birthday was on 2/14. Some of his friends had brought balloons and a birthday cake which he shared with us. It was an awesome way to experience our first night in PR! We went again on that Saturday and there was a 'real' birthday celebration going on! The bar itself is like stepping into a time machine. Freddie has pictures of his friends on the walls from years past. There are old poker and gaming machines around and an overwhelming feeling of nostalgia. And this is before the karaoke starts! He has a great list and books in English and Spanish. We are NOT good singers, but the locals coming to EDL could rival the best singers at any karaoke bar you've been to. It can be a bit intimidating! The drinks are nothing fancy, just good solid classics and a small beer selection. If you're staying in Isla Verde I highly recommend spending a late night here. It is in a gated condo, so the security guard or a resident must let you in.
