We came here with the kiddos as they are at the age now where they like having these small crossbody mini-bags and we let them shop to their content and we picked up a couple of mini-bags at a nice discount. Melania was the friendly and helpful young lady staffer patiently showing the kiddos what was available and what was on sale, and going back to the stockroom to pick out a new item (if available) instead of the display model. I never really looked into it before but I thought Five Below was maybe a lower end clothing store lol. Anyway, it's basically an a-ok dollar store with items priced nominally up to $5. It's a fine store for such and they have a wide variety of items. They may not have the quality of a Hello Tokyo or a Daiso but you get more for your discount dollars here it appears. The kiddos had plenty of fun items to pick from to stay under their $5 budget and they enjoyed their shopping here. My only critique is that many items showed a scan code but no specific price except a sign saying less than $5. I had to ask the friendly and helpful attendant several times what an item's price was and most items we picked were $3.50 or $4 but it would be helpful to show an exact price if possible. I would recommend any discount shoppers check out this a-ok franchise to see if there's a consumer fit for themselves.

Since the surrounding area is filled with a mixture of apartment buildings and homes, many of their items fall into the realm of home goods. Anything from curtains to tea sets, rugs, some throws, kitchen utensils, costume jewelry, Lottery and more. Especially useful for those that lack transportation to "big box" stores, there are some (decent) home goods that could meet your mark. My intention was to find dollar quality cabinet liners and or a cheap but useful stapler. Both were over my spend amount, so I opted for purchasing from the hardware store.

I've seen figures here I hadn't ever seen in the wild, Galactus in box anyone? They carry many of the brands you could want; including Superhero stuff, Transformers, Star Wars, Lego, G.I. Joe, and Wrestling figures. I was happy to pay the low end of list price, and great costs for some loose figures. The owner even knocked a few bucks off, good guy. My only complaint, as a big fatty with bad knees, the store is literally filled with toys, boxes with toys, and plastic shelves with toys. A price I'm willing to pay for the selection they had.
