After dealing with the insurance company for nearly 2 weeks I was just about running out of clean clothes. I contacted ARR on a Wednesday and was given an appointment the following Tuesday. I mentioned my clothing situation and asked that if something opened up I'd appreciate it. ARR said they could work me in the next day. They arrived ahead of schedule and did a thorough diagnosis of my washer. He explained the problem thoroughly. Instead of selling me some expensive fix (as I would not have known the difference) Matt told me that it likely wasn't worth fixing due to it's age but that fixing it would be expensive. He told me of an option that might work (a drip pan under the washer) that would save a lot of money. He didn't have to do that. Matt, and his assistant who's name I did not catch/remember, were very easy to work with, knowledgeable and very professional. If I have any further problems with my appliances, Appliance Rescue Repair will be the first company I will call.

The owner explained all of this to me and offered to refer me to another company or do a different kind of cleaning treatment that didn't require the truck-mounted machine. He explained the process in detail. He is clearly very knowledgeable and cares about the quality of his work. The owner cleaned the rugs himself. He arrived late, but kept me posted about his ETA and gave me a discount, which I appreciated and thought was very fair. We agreed on the price and they came in and cleaned our 2 carpets, moving some things I couldn't. The carpets look very nice again. I would have them back and recommend them. * - turns out this scheduler wasn't connected to their own so I had to reschedule over the phone. This could cause others to go to a competitor but I'm not sure who to blame - Yelp or Nelson, so leaving that point aside.
