I have been coming to the Denver location for almost 2 years now and I have to say the staff here is amazing and talk about customer service you get it here! I have been to other glow salons but the one here in Denver is my go-to. I have to say I was witness to a very upsetting incident this morning while I was waiting, a gentleman came in with a very large pitbull dog and proceeded to raise a bit of a ruckus with the manager. The manager was overly nice to him as I felt and this gentleman was being very disagreeable and to be honest he was making me nervous and a bit scared, the size of the dog did not help and the fact that he brought a dog into be confrontational with the staff really upset me and it made me question my safety here and for the staff. Apparently the customer was upset over being billed for something that happened months and months ago but I feel bringing a pitbull into this salon was completely uncalled for. I have and train service dogs and know that animals are trained to generally go by the humans voice and their tone and this to be honest made me even more nervous. The staff does not deserve this kind of treatment and I actually feel as a customer I don't deserve to have to put up and listen to this kind of behavior from a gentleman I'm fear for myself or the staff this confrontation in my opinion could have been dealt with outside or in a much much better manner with a lower tone of voice and to talk to the staff that way was in my opinion unacceptable. I hope the owner sees this review because this location is amazing and to be honest that customer hopefully he does leave because he actually made me nervous for being in here. read more

I was supposed to have been given a week of free services to check out the facility, but on day 5 they told me the free week ran out then proceeded to try to get me to put a credit card on file so they could lock me into a membership. The sales girl even counted the days on her hand and said "That's weird it's only been 5 days but it says your free week is up" then wouldn't honor the week. I find that shady business practices. Also, the spray tanning is horrible. You will come out looking orange! They try to push other services for that too saying if you do a hydro treatment first the tanning will come out better. It's ridiculous. The dye they use isn't the right color. It has nothing to do with hydro treatments. Believe me, I have been to many tanning salons and have never had to use additional treatments to have the tan look good. Lastly, when I called to complain to corporate I got an answering machine and no one called back so if you do sign up for a membership good luck trying to cancel it. read more

If you have like 2+ hours to spend trying to get service, go here. We have a membership and we are consistently cut in line at this location and the staff does nothing about it. They need more employees or something ?? This location has a line out the door no matter what time or day. We stood in line for the second time and got "cut in line" again and the staff was trying to upswell lotions etc. instead of cleaning rooms and checking in customers. 2 stars bc they have great deals, but too bad you can never use them because you can never get checked in. read more

I really do like the staff, they're all very nice ladies. When I signed (Jan 8th) up they had a really good special going on, so I do think they are a good value. I bought a few bottles of their very high priced lotions. One of the bottles would not work. Which was fine, I was told I could pick it up on my next visit. That next week I showed up, and they did not have the bottle. That was fine, I still had plenty of time before my trip which is on March 11th. The next week I call before I head to the place to confirm that they will have the bottle. They assure me they will. I show up, the owner brought it to the wrong location. Now it's starting to bother me. Before I leave this time, I speak with the front desk. I tell them the exact days I will be coming back. They assure me they will have it for sure. I believe it was this week they put $35 credit on my account to use at any of their locations. They then immediately try to sell me other lotions. I come back on the days I said I would and they still don't have it. I wait a couple weeks to go back. I called again before I go, and am told on the phone they are out of that bottle? And that I'll have to wait 2 weeks to get it. It's now March 4th. They still don't have it. I'll continue to go here until my special ends. Unless they can make this right, I will probably search for other tanning places. read more

I walked into my spray tan, there were dirty towels on the floor. The spray tan wasn't even set, I let the front desk know about both. She said she set me for dark, when I actually asked for light, and had to ask for light multiple times. The spray tan started lower than my face (I'm 5' 2") so my face wasn't even tanned. When I left, I heard the desk say my spray booth was ready, meaning it wasn't cleaned before me or after me. I will not return to this place. They clearly do not clean their spray booths, which makes me fear they do not clean their tanning beds!!! read more

Upper management is horrible. I feel bad for the girls who work at the stores and have no support from their bosses. The "new" beds they got are disgustingly dirty under the glass and by the bulbs. read more

My hair caught on fire while using a tanning bed at Glo Tanning located at 5075 Leetsdale Drive. Denver 80246 If I could submit photos, I would. I was using the first bed to the right as you enter the salon. My blonde hair now has some horrific brown/orange burns at the top of my head. I was offered an apology and that's it! I walked out the door fearing the next guest would use this bed. What happened to me -could have been alot worse. I fear for the safety of anyone who uses GLO TANNING. read more

DO NOT TAN HERE! I only wanted to tan 3 times before my honeymoon but Glo pushed me to pay for a one month membership instead since it would be cheaper. I canceled my membership after those tanning sessions and Glo assured me, in writing, that my membership was canceled. However, they continued to charge me monthly for 3 months, for a membership that was clearly canceled. I am currently disputing the charges with my credit card company and after multiple calls, conversations with Glo and requests to speak to a supervisor, this is still not resolved. I rarely write negative reviews and feel I have given Glo ample time to remedy this situation. I am incredibly disappointed by their fraudulent actions and will never be tanning with this company again. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from Glo Tanning. read more

Amazing customer service! New management since I visited awhile ago and you can tell! Place is spotless and everyone working there is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Janice got me set up on a new membership and walked me around to explain every service/room. I did 3 services, one of which Katy helped set me up. There were towels in every room and they give you a robe if you do multiple services in one day so you don't have to keep getting dressed in between (super nice!) Services are unlimited so why not do them all! Also it was not busy at all while I was there (Tuesday evening). 5 stars, excited to go back! read more

I stumbled across GLO from an online ad and have been addicted since! I have lupus and chronic fibromyalga with lots of pain and skin flare ups. I've been using the hydro-wellness, poly, beauty Angel, red light bed and cocoon religiously the last two months and the results have been AMAZING! My skin hasn't flared up once and the relaxation I get during treatments is so beneficial mentally. It's my reward during the week now so it pushes me to do more so I can go as much as I can! Awesome facilities and phenomenal service! Glo has the most up-to-date beds and spray tanning booths. Modern design, large space and very tastefully updated since the previous ownership. The staff are amazing - they are so friendly and helpful! Chase is awesome and so are all of the ladies who check in customers. Staff are always on top of keeping everything clean. My happy place. Sitting in the cocoon pod for 30 minutes should be a necessity for everyone. The staff is so darn nice and the place is SPARKLING clean. Awful! The old management of the place was awful, but the beds worked and you got color! Don't waste your time or money! Don't buy into their membership hype either! Now they post a response after a conversation and the customer service sheath did not listen to a thing I communicated to her! The worst!! Hey people I have a tan!!!!! The tanning beds are awful!!
