Love this place! I've been tanning since college so I've seen my fair share of tanning salons, and this place is by far the best-- and the employees definitely make the difference! Some of my favorite things about Lux compared to other tanning salons: - They keep your product/eyewear in the store so you don't have to worry about carrying it back and forth/forgetting it - You can put your account on hold for as long as you want during the months you don't feel like tanning and reactivate it whenever you're ready to come back - You can hook your phone up to almost any of the beds and listen to your own music during your session (or listen to the awesome studio music) - The cooling eucalyptus towel they advertise might seem a little "extra" but after trying it for the first time a few months ago I'll never go back-- it's a refreshing way to end your tanning session and even takes away that "tanning lotion" smell! - I'll say it again: the employees here are The. Absolute. Best. I've never waited for a bed longer than a minute or two, I'm always offered champagne/sparkling water when I walk in, and they always take the time to walk you through a new bed before you go in so there's no nerves. Nicest people you will ever meet. 5 stars!!! read more

I've been interested in going to a tanning spa for years, but I never really found one that seemed very professional. Until, one day I walked into Lux Tanning Spa in Addison, Texas and the opposite happened. I was greeted by an incredibly professional employee names Bethany, who made me feel at home and right from the beginning explaining in detail all the different tans they offer. She personally chose the skincare protector and all the best options for me personally, after asking me many questions about my skin type and what I was personally looking for. After having my first tanning session, I went home and after several hours saw this beautiful all over glow, that I absolutely loved. I was so very impressed with my whole experience, I went back to Lux Tanning Spa to see Bethany two days later to thank her for the outstanding job she did. I then proceeded to sign up for a one year package, which I am so looking forward to using throughout the coming year! Thanks so much Bethany for the outstanding job that you did of explaining everything in detail right from the beginning and I am so very excited about having this wonderful glow throughout the next year! I phoned to discuss packages and pricing -- Thomas was wonderful and very thorough on the phone. I was 'sold' on the place before ever walking in. Going in same day after work -- I missed seeing Thomas to sign up, but Raymond was fabulous!! Signing up was quick and painless. Ray and whole staff had made me feel welcome, but NOT pressured -- and gave me pointers on what I should/should not do (first time tanning in awhile). I have to say in past (at other places) -- I was NEVER a fan of expensive tan accelerator/lotions or bronzers and did not feel they were worth the $$. NOT at LUX!! LOVE LOVE my new products -- and felt GREAT with a light glow / moisturized skin - after first session (no red / no burn). Lastly, I was pleasantly surprised about how 'gleaming' and CLEAN the whole facility is. (A MAJOR ++ for me)!! I have walked out of other places without ever trying the beds or spray tanning -- due to dirty / icky customer area, counters and floor. NOT AT LUX -- it has a surgical/hygienic/sparkling cleanliness throughout the whole place -- and I truly appreciate it! Can't believe I waited this long to try LUX! Love it. read more

They had a thing on their website for a complimentary first time session, so I took it in for a spray tan. Turns out, it hadn't been very clear and it was just for tanning beds. Bummer. But! Tyler was very nice about it and convinced me to try the spray tan anyway. It was my first time, and he explained everything about it and even told me that if I liked it and wanted to but a six-pack of tanning sessions, he would include this one in the six, instead of making me pay for it separately. I was a little worried when I came out because there were some speckles on my arm, but he assured me that it was just the bronzer and would wash off...and it did, but it took about two days to fully go away. Tyler recommended a couple of products to try to keep it from happening again, which was great. The location itself is really nice, and it doesn't hurt that they offer you champagne :) I ended up purchasing the six-pack and it made the cost per tan much more affordable. The customer service there is amazing and really makes the experience great. Can't wait for the Addison location to open! read more

I've been coming to this place since 2015, I only get tanned here. I absolutely love this place and recommend it to anyone who's looking for a good quality tan. I love how they make you feel home when you get there, when you're a member they offer you water or champagne when you're checking in for your tan. All of the guys and gals that work there have always been very friendly and helpful, I've never had any issues with the staff. To be honest, I've never had a bad experience when going there. Their tanning beds are amazing, they have different beds for different tanning results you may want, their beds are top notch, my favorite bed is the "Open Sun" it gets the job done quick and makes your tan look beautiful. I wouldn't go anywhere else for a tan, in my opinion this is the only place I'd go tanning in Dallas. I've been a satisfied and very happy customer for 5 years. read more

I've been a member of LUX Tanning Spa for over 6 months now and having come across from the now closed down B Tan, I can't begin to explain the difference in quality of equipment, cleanliness and safety measures in place and most of all, the friendly, genuine, warm and personalized service of the team. A huge shout out to Joy who is always welcoming with a smile and will go above and beyond and takes the time to acknowledge everyone and knows her product range inside out.. Joy you certainly know your customers and tailor every interaction to make everyone feel valued and like celebrities as members of LUX Tanning Spa. Also Brian and Collin, both are intuitive, attentive and together the 3 make a great team. You never have a second chance to make a first impression and team LUX have nailed it. read more

I love this tan from LUX TAN on Lemmon Avenue . The spray tan is even in color and staff is more than courteous and helpful ( they know their business and which tan applications are fitting to your desire!) Noah was especially great to us . Lux is upscale in their machines and atmosphere. You are given a moist towelette and offered champagne or bottled water. The dark , modern marble and concrete met with purple and blue lighting in entry creates a very inviting spa. I give this a 10+ in every area. Thanks for moving to Dallas and showing up Palm Beach where I rarely got an even spray or over/ under spray. Those machines are way inferior to LUX TAN. read more

Lux is amazing! I went in just looking for pricing and Tyler gave me the most informative tour. The first thing I noticed was how clean the salon is! He asked me what my needs were, explained all packages, and I never felt pressured. I signed up and brought product on the spot. Each time you tan you are offered champagne or water and a cold towel, and they even keep your product and goggles so you don't have to remember to bring them! Bulbs are fabulous, and the beds are top of the line. I can't say enough good things about this place, it is my favorite part of my day knowing how relaxing the experience is. Thanks so much to Tyler for all the help!! read more

LUX tanning is the best! This place has completely changed the way you think about tanning. There is no timer to get lotioned up and get in the bed, or if you have that surprise gotta go to the bathroom real quick. You get a glass of champagne and a cool towel that's laced with eucalyptus and is so refreshing. Raymond and Evan and the sweetest guys ever, they took the time to remember my name, which makes me feel so special every time I walk in the door and they always have my glass of champagne ready for me. They also store you tanning products so they don't go bad in your car. This place is literally the best ever. It's my 12 minute vacation. read more

I LOVE ME SOME LUX TAN!!! There is NO other place especially in the Dallas area that I would tan at. I tell everyone I know to go there. The staff is all well mannered, very welcoming and knowledgeable! Love Tyler! I always make you feel special and it's LUX-orious!! They offer Perrier water, Champaign, they even provide portable phone chargers, and they store your lotion/products so you will always have it. And That's just the amenities, employees and atmosphere!! But Not only do they offer spray tan, but their beds are phenomenal. I have gotten the fastest and best results from their beds. It's totally worth it. Thanks LUX!! ~Cierra read more

I was the kind of person who swore I would never spend more than $40/month on a tanning membership. However as I've grown older I've learned you get what you pay for and Lux Tanning Spa is worth it! The experience is by far the best I've ever seen from the quality of beds, variety of beds and the complimentary items I am offered every single time. Joy and Collin have never fell short of offering superb customer service. They go beyond what their job description entails and it's that kind of customer service that has kept me at this salon for almost 2 years. Would recommend this salon to anyone! read more

This was my first time spray tanning ever. When I walked in, Thomas said "Give me a hug!" Didn't even know me, but that was such a warm welcome!! We talked about what I was looking for in terms of my tan, and the fact that I wanted to "practice" before spraying for my event. Thomas was very informative, very helpful and very gracious (Chamapgne on arrival)! He explained fully how to stand in the spray tan booth properly and was very helpful with all of my questions. All of the staff I encountered was wonderful! I'm definitely looking forward to going back for my next spray!!! read more

Easily the highest-quality salon I've visited! Evan at the front desk took care of me where I was offered a complimentary Perrier or glass of champagne while I wait - along with a chilled towel (for after my session was finished) that was infused with mint and eucalyptus. The beds are awesome - some of which are specially molded so you don't get weird tan lines like you would in a normal flat glass bed - the atmosphere is amazing, and I can't say enough good things about the customer service! Everyone here is honestly so nice but definitely ask for Evan if you get the chance! read more

For someone who has not frequent tanning salons and was apprehensive in trying, Lux Salon was the perfect choice! From the moment I walked in, both Thomas and Devin were attentive, polite and exuded customer service to the 10th degree! Of course offering you a glass of champagne did not hurt the situation one bit. Every detail was patiently explained as well as taking the time to make sure the end result I was looking for would occur. I'm sold and thoroughly impressed with not only the professionalism, but the overall ambiance and extremely friendly and clean environment. read more

I would HIGHLY suggest LUX to anyone especially novice tanners like myself. Tyler helped me and he was so incredibly patient and nice and thorough in explaining all the different beds and packages and he had so much facts and information to back it all up. As a novice tanner I found that so incredibly comforting because I don't have a clue about this kind of stuff. They also have amazing discounts and rates. The place smells amazing. All the beds are beautiful and high tech! Also, choice of Perrier or champagne and a tan?? I mean come on why go anywhere else?!? read more

Such a refreshing experience to be offered champagne when I walk in the door! Tanning is already my favorite part of the day, but LUX really takes it to the next level. Devin & staff were so helpful when I was having a pale crisis tonight! They take you back & manually set you up for the perfect tan, (which I love) so I know exactly what I'm getting. I highly recommend LUX if you are looking for a classy new take on tanning- such an upgrade! Plus, for how amazing and chic it is you'd think it'd be really expensive-- absolutely not! Ask for Devin! read more

Fantastic customer service! First time going to a spray tanning booth and was blown away by the cleanliness of the salon and the professionalism of the staff. Tyler was wonderful - attentive, quick to answer any questions I had, and worked WITH me to determine the perfect shade for me. Tyler completely calmed all of my fears and made the experience enjoyable, relaxing, and fun! The complimentary champagne and perrier were a nice touch as well. Will definitely be back soon! read more

I came here in April as a spooky pale ghost and with the help of Ray and Tyler I bought a membership and have continued coming regularly since! My skin is so bronze and sexy I often get compliments on my dark tan. They have impeccably clean beds and rooms as well as a very chic interior design, it feels like I'm in a space ship. They also feature a lovely array of high quality skin care. This is definitely an all around upscale tanning salon worth every penny ! read more
