I started seeing him when he wasn't in my insurance network (also not one to like overpaying), because I was in such severe pain from a gym injury, and the endless sessions I have with another chiropractor were not getting me any relief. I'm a strong believer that energy transcends through touch , and he is a natural healer. Yes he is a doctor, he knows the human anatomy , he has the latest techniques , he has a lovely office .... but what's much harder to find in a healthcare provider is a genuine desire to maKe people feel better. He is so attentive. He will try 85 ways to make you feel better , and if it doesn't work he will try the 86th with no loss of enthusiasm. His true greatness is in his humble demeanor. Some chiropractors will act like it's beneath them to massage their patients , but Sunil's ego comes second to doing whatever will help the patient. Lastly , I feel completely at ease with our casual relationship. Sometimes I feel amazing , and stop coming for periods of time. He never stalks me into filling his books. In short - he is amazing. This practice doesn't feel like a business, it feels like a sanctuary.

The cozy slippers were a nice touch! My massage therapist took the time to ask about my concerns (stiff shoulders and neck) and checked in throughout to make sure the pressure was right. The atmosphere was incredibly relaxing, dim lighting, peaceful music, and even a heated table. By the end, I sincerely felt so much better. Vive is a very calming space. The lights are low and it's very comfortable. It looks small at first but there's a small waiting room down the hall from the entrance. Since it was my first visit, I spoke with the receptionist prior to my visit, and I filled out a medical/treatment history upon arrival. Amanda reviewed it with me thoroughly before starting my treatment. Amanda was also very professional. In addition to going over health information, she made sure that I was comfortable with what massage entails, that consent and comfort was paramount, and that I could tell her at any point if I was uncomfortable with what was happening. I really appreciated that clear communication. Something that's really helpful is that Vive lists all their therapists on their website, and in addition to their specialties it lists their pressure level. That was extremely helpful to me, because I knew I wanted someone who used firm pressure, so that definitely helped me find the right therapist. My time with Amanda was not only relaxing but helpful, as my back--whilst not completely neutral--felt much better after my session. And within the week the pain was essentially gone. I don't know if this was the reason, but it was certainly a contributing factor. In addition to standard massage, they have an infrared sauna here as well. They also sell a few items that may provide further relief. There are a few parking spaces in the lot directly in front of the business, and there are a few diagonal spaces on the street as well (just be sure not to block the sidewalk). If necessary, there's also parking along the neighborhood streets, too.

It's hard to imagine a team of people who are more friendly and interested in your wellbeing than the group here at AMH Deerfield. I decided I wanted to address my poor posture and the aches and pains it was causing. I had a great assessment with Dr. Danielle Dever, who is absolutely awesome in every way. My PT sessions with Connor were excellent and he very will might be the nicest guy on planet Earth. I started noticing results within just a few weeks with better posture and far less soreness. At one point, Dr. Kelsie Herrera rotated into the practice and took Dr. Dever's place and she was terrific as well. Dr. Aguilar is now at the practice and my first session with him was excellent as well. Rania is a wonderful massage therapist- she's extremely talented as well as kind and funny. I also enjoy seeing Amy, the manager, on the way in and out- she's incredibly friendly and helpful and was kind enough to ask often how I was doing following a family emergency. I cannot recommend this group enough. The office is spa-like and calming and the friendly demeanor of literally everyone makes my office visits like an escape from a busy work and home life. I never felt like my care plan went on any longer than it needed to- when I was ready to reduce from 2x weekly to 1x weekly, then later to 1x monthly visits, it was a decision we made together as I progressed and felt better. Billing and payments were completely seamless, not a single issue. Because they rotate the doctors periodically, some people might prefer going to a practice where they know they will always see the same doctor. However, I wouldn't be concerned about that here- everyone is at the top of their game and the handoffs from doctor to doctor were each seamless and they have all been wonderful people!
