I've been going here to get my eyebrows threaded for months, and it's the best place I've EVER found. Normally, you find a place and it's going well but then you get a random person who does them and you walk away thinking that was a waste of money. I've never had to wait even for them to finish up with someone, just walk right in and hop in the chair. Also, the same woman has done my brows every time I have been in (not sure if she is the only one, and don't know her name) and she is super attention to detail, I go a little longer than most between threads because my brows grow in unevenly so I let them fully grown in and she always gets every hair, which is impressive cause I have thick brows and a lot of stray hairs and it can be kinda Sasquatchy. Don't ever go to Glitzy Brows! They are horrible!! I went to Glitzy Brows for a henna eyebrow tattoo. The girl working yesterday 12/23/20 said that they didn't do henna when it's clearly on their website and window. She asked me 4 times if I wanted my eyebrows threaded and I said no each time. I agreed to have my eyebrows tinted since she didn't seem to understand what I was really wanting. I have blonde hair and wanted the tint to be Blonde but instead she tinted my eyebrows Black. I now have blonde hair with black eyebrows and look like a freak for my family Christmas gatherings. Wow. This place completely surprised me. I went in the see what the 30 dollar eyelash sets were all about...and I was blown away! I saw the sweet lady doing eyebrow threading on another girl when I walked in and I was curious about that too. She was totally helpful and so sweet and accommodating and works SO fast and efficiently! I got my eyebrows threaded for the first time and am now obsessed with it! I have never been so disappointed in a business -I didn't receive the refund I asked for of $120 when I got my lash extensions done. (Took her 2 hours) came home & within 2 days they were falling out in chunks - the glue itched my eyes & made them puffy + red. I went back in to have them REDO my lashes - she didn't do the extensions she did the in chair lashes. Took her 15 min & she seemed very annoyed that she had to redo them. Perfect. My eyebrows were really messed up by the last place I randomly hopped into and when I came here, she knew. She reshaped them to look more even and gave me tips on how to grow the thinner one back (castor oil!). It was my first time getting threaded which I must admit, made me a little more fidgety than waxing, but I like the idea that it's a slower more gradual process as opposed to the last girl who just ripped off my brows with wild waxy abandon. I found this place on Yelp. I recently moved to Nashville from out of state and had one person wax my eyebrows my whole life- so I was less than excited to let someone else take over the job. I have trust issues. I decided I wanted to try the threading trend out. Saw glitzy brows had good reviews and the rest is history! The first time I came in on a Sunday afternoon without an appointment. A woman threaded my eyebrows and I also got what they call 'lash extensions'. The threading was awesome. She did a great job. The extensions were also awesome. BUT there's a disclaimer... These lasted for about 2 weeks- for about $25. I have always wanted the lash extensions from fancy boutiques but couldn't make myself pay a couple hundred dollars for them. So I was thrilled to find these. I got the long length, but probably should've gone for the natural length as the long was a little too flashy for me, never the less I did love them. However it is basically individual false eyelashes with some extremely tacky glue- the glue started causing me problems near the end of the 2 weeks. Eventually after many clumps fell out I took the rest of the lashes off. I was left with extremely short nubs of my natural lashes and immediately regretted my decision of getting the false lashes. I wasn't sure if my natural- fairly full- lashes would ever return. After a week or two of slathering coconut oil on them every night, they DID return. However, I don't know if I could make myself get the lash extensions again because it was very traumatic for a little while. Now, the second time I came in for just a threading on a Wednesday afternoon. No appointment and they were not busy. A different, younger lady did my eyebrows this time. I was skeptical because this was not the same lady as before and remember- I have trust issues. But, she proved me wrong and again did amazing! All in all I do recommend this place! It's about $10 for an eyebrow threading and everyone I've encountered working there is very professional and kind! I am excited to try out other services they have to offer! Go here! read more

This place was really disappointing. I get my brows threaded all the time so when I saw this place (which is WAY closer to my house than my usual threading place) I was eager to try it out. First off, the girl missed a lot of stray hairs and my brows didn't look particularly well-shaped or clean when I left. I could have done a better job myself with tweezers. I should have known because she took way less time than it usually takes. Secondly, it costs nearly twice as much as my regular salon. I've never paid over $7 for brow threading anywhere and here it costs $11!!! Lip and brow at my regular spot is $10, here's it's $18. Crazy. I won't be back. read more

Before going here, I had never had my brows threaded. With the very reasonable price of $10 (which is cheaper than waxing these days!) I decided to give it a try. I am SO glad I did! I will NEVER wax again! My brows have never looked so good! They offer pictures of shapes that you may want your brows to be, but I never have to tell them. They are very spot on about what will look good on you. I have had two different ladies thread my brows there, and they are both fantastic. Very sweet people.
