He filed the sides of my nails really far in and only put 2 coats of dipping color on so it is a little see thought. The clear on top has started peeling off after a 3-4 days. He cut my finger with a tool and I showed him the shape I wanted (the shape I went in with) he totally ignored and did what he wanted which was square. NOT HAPPY AT ALL. My friend had her nails done as well. The guy didn't ask her anything he cut her long (not too long) nails really short, her nails not look they have been in a war. They are coming off and peeling like crazy. It's been less than 1 week and most of them are gone. She had her toe nail polish changed and it was $35, no pedicure just color change. It was all a disaster for us.

I just moved to Lillington a month ago when I walked in and inquired if they take walk-in's for…read morepedicures. I said this OUT LOUD, that I had never been to their nail salon before, and registered on their computer system, told them that I just needed a simple black polish for my toes and waited a few minutes for my turn. The salon wasn't too busy so the wait wasn't any longer than 5 minutes. Cindy was my tech. I chose the Chocolate pedicure ($60), and was looking forward to the foot massage, most of all. Cindy drilled off my existing nail polish from my previous pedicure I had done elsewhere, which I thought was odd, figuring nail polish remover would be sufficient She told me I had on gel polish, and I told her it was not gel polish, I've never had gel polish on my toes and she told me "no, it's gel polish". I had previously been going to the same nail tech for years and I know for a FACT that it wasn't gel polish on my toes! I was in no mood to argue....Yet. So it was time to apply polish to my toes, the polish goes on, the lamp goes over them and I mention " oh- Gel polish?" Cindy says NOTHING. THE pedicure continued, with individual sized, PREVIOUSLY opened packets of chocolate scented products and with the stone exfoliation & sugar scrub or whatever it was... I guess she called THAT the massage, all the while my feet were in plastic bags with some kinda goop inside them. No massage of the feet what so ever! I questioned Cindy about the lack of foot massage and she picked up the timer and said "see that's it and we're very busy." It appeared that there was about 1 minute left. I have no idea what she was actually timing. That was it! The pedicure was over, I went to the front desk to pay and to my surprise, the charge was $75! A $15 up charge for the black gel polish she applied to my toes. At no time during my visit did she inform this NEW customer that there was a $15 charge to apply gel polish to my toes. There were no signs posted anywhere, either. I pointed this out to Cindy and she said "oh yes, it's $15 for gel polish. I told you!" No, she did NOT! Cindy then pointed to all the other customers individually and said see? They all know! I told her that it's great that they all know that there's a $15 up charge for gel polish, they're not new customers, am I right? But I have never been here before and you never told me, so how am I supposed to know that? Then she had the nerve to ask me if I was going to tip her. I think any other establishment would apologize for their mistake of not informing a new customer of the $15 up charge for gel polish, especially after I commented on it while she was applying it...but this woman had the gall to still expect a tip after performing a mediocre service and deceiving me like that. I WILL NOT be returning to this salon EVER again. If you're new in town, save your money- keep looking for a more honest establishment!

At scheduling time, the receptionist was very nice and worked with me to find a time that fits schedules well. I was scheduled with Michaela for a Halo face framing type situation and was greeted very kindly by her and everyone else at the front desk. They offer you water and other beverages there as you arrive. There is also local crafted jewelry in the sitting area to browse. Getting back to hair, Michaela was very personable, funny, nice, and professional. The experience was nice and it feels like you're just chatting with an old friend. Honestly I probably chat too much but the story of my life LOL. They take you back to the hair washing area which is quiet and Serene, ready for relaxation. They also offer you and I mask type essential oil situation where you can pick different scents. After your hair is done washing you get processed and then you go back to your sitting area. It took a little bit to get my hair to the desired look but Michaela and the salon made it very easy to work with and get the results we were hoping for. I appreciate them for being so accommodating and ease of everything. Michaela is a great stylist and I would recommend booking with her anytime! Not only will she make your hair look better but just speaking with her makes your day better too.
