We had agreed upon 2 cleanings when they first solicited us. My fault, but contract was for 3 cleanings. I should not have assumed he told me the truth. The quality of cleaning was poor, streaks on the windows plus they broke quite a few screen tabs and did not replace on their own. I needed to call them back to fix. The salesman told me I could cancel anytime, but that they "like the contract" to be in place. I went to cancel the service and they charged me an additional $219. I did have one service in which they did a good job, but the breakup fee for no service is unacceptable. The sales people are pushy and I would avoid this service at all cost.l read more

These folks use coercive tactics to lock in customers, do not respond to calls to modify or cancel, then harass you when you remove your credit card from their coffers. Their customer service is comprised of smug bootlickers who repeat back talking points and don't listen to customer concerns. Their cancellation fee is exorbitant and they act entitled to your money. On top of all that, they don't even clean the windows. They alternate inside and outside, dependent on the season so, actually, the windows are never genuinely clean. 0/5 recommend. Bunch a' hacks. The salesman invited himself onto my property after I told him No four times. He lied to me about being a client of my neighbor (she later told me that he gave her the exact same lie - including using her name as the person he worked for!) He trespassed in my backyard without my consent, and now I feel unsafe in my own house because I don't know what he did back there. An absolute nightmare to deal with! The salesman was very deceptive in his presentation of services. They rope you into expensive contracts. I told the salesperson we might be moving within 6 mos. and that we would not need additional cleanings if that was the case. He agreed. Now we've moved, and they still want to charge for cleanings. I called and spoke with a manager, and he was completely unapologetic about their contracts and deceptive practices. Do not trust this cleaning service. Just say NO to anyone at your door. read more

Do not use Glide Cleaners. They failed to clean one of the major windows at my house (which would be bad enough), and they also left my yard gate open which let my dog get out. They charged my card $289 for an early termination of the second service, which seems unfair given my dissatisfaction with the initial visit. The upshot is that they can do a subpar job and still charge you for subsequent work. read more

The glide cleaner salesperson came to my door to offer the service. They wanted to sell me a contract requiring 4 cleanings in one year with the option to cancel after the year. I told them I would agree to only paying for 2 cleanings in one year with the option of then canceling the contract. They agreed. I requested they put our modified agreement in writing which they did then I signed. I've now had 2 cleanings in the one year. I notified them that I no longer want any more cleaning and to cancel the contract. They said I have to do one more cleaning and pay for it. I showed them the written-up agreement which they now re-interpret as I have to do one more cleaning. Do not trust this cleaning service! They will deceive to get your money. read more

Be very careful with Glide. They require a minimum 1 year 3 cleaning contract with a cancellation fee equal to one cleaning or one third of the total contract. I was assured by the representative that the termination fee would not be imposed if I needed to cancel. I tried to cancel and was charged the full fee. Caution: Read the contract, do not believe the representative, or better yet avoid this business altogether. read more

I would never recommend this company. I tried them for 3 services in total and they never did a good job. This last time, they arrived two and a half hours early, with no call to say they were coming. One associate used shoe covers, the other just walked thru our home in his work boots. While the associates were very nice and polite, the job they did was not good. They left water drips on our hard wood floors, did not wipe down any of the sills, left dirty water drips on all the frames and missed a couple of our basement windows all together. For the $300 fee, they were at our home less than 15 minutes. I will look elsewhere for window cleaning services. read more

This is a highly deceptive business. The salesperson did not disclose that in the fine print, I was signing up for a multi-service contract with a $299. penalty to end the contract. They have a point person named "Sanders" who refused to disclose his last name, who specializes in pressure tactics to keep you bound to them by contract. They will not waive that outrageously high penalty and there are myriad similar complaints about them. read more

DO NOT SIGN CONTRACT WITH THIS COMPANY! I agree with the other reviews. We were not told that we would be on the hook for bi-annual cleanings for 18 months at $350 each. They showed up for the first cleaning and only did the outside of the windows, and did a mediocre job at best. Now we want out of the contract, which by the way we did not sign, there is a smiley face on the signature line which I did not sign. And it will cost us $350 to cancel the contract. I will be reporting them to the BBB and will be contacting my credit card company to request a block. I'm surprised this company has been able to stay in business. Disappointing. read more

Do not become associated with Glide. Their services are not worth the time, money or grief. Their salesman will come to your door with promises that will not be reflected in the contract. The services are done by random contractors who are only hired by not controlled by glide. There is no quality control. My initial window cleaning done by two men was so poorly done that they had to send another person. This guy was better but did everything too fast to really be done right. Screens were damaged and nothing really well cleaned. When I said the job was "adequate", glide was happy to hear that answer. Apparently, adequate is a step up. This is about sales rather than service. While the stiff cancellation fee I was charged is ridiculous, I'm happy that I will never have to deal with glide again. This is better than having to pay for two more terrible services from whatever rando they send to my door. Reputable companies would wave fees when a customer is unhappy. Good companies take pride in their work. Not glide. Be warned. glide is terrible. read more

I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone. I was promised top-notch service--screen removal and cleaning, dryer vent cleaning, and sparkling windows. What I got was a team that showed up two hours late, skipped half the work, and stayed less than 30 minutes. Screens weren't cleaned. Dryer vent? Not touched. Windows? Still dirty around the edges. I had to remove the upstairs screens myself while already late for work, because the techs claimed they "couldn't" do it. I never received the post-service photos they promised. The kicker? After all this, they refused to cancel my contract--despite failing to deliver even the basic level of service they sold me. This was an expensive mistake. I feel duped and extremely frustrated. This company promised outstanding cleaning and doesn't deliver. In addition, they broke my outdoor hose, took a screen to be fixed and it wasn't returned. Six weeks later screen replaced (thank you, Glide). Hose issue not resolved so will purchase new hose for $50.00. I paid for the cleaning and cancelled remainder of contract. They bill me anyway for future service. That was removed from my charge card but today I get a phone call saying I have to pay a $300 fee to cancel and implied they will seek legal redress. read more
